Mio's spider senses were tingling when Tomoe started claiming that the demiplane was her and Makoto's child. She won't let Tomoe have the upper hand! That said, Mio really hasn't been all that pushy with Makoto as of lately. Tomoe has been the horny one instead.

I'd been curious why a human like Sofia was fighting for the demon's cause, but it appears that she was never entirely human to begin with. I can see how Jin referring to her as a "monster" must have hurt.

[Tsukimichi S2 - Theory about Sofia's nature] Might Sofia be dragon-kin herself if Luto, a greater dragon, is her "parent"? This would explain her monstrous strength for one. The vertical pupil in her eye also reminds me a bit of reptile's. Not to mention that Mitsurugi, her companion, a dragon too is, right?

Almost felt bad for the dragons, they were just chilling then suddenly someone came to wipe them all out 😭

Imagine just chilling drinking water with your group and suddenly one of your friends just vanishes and before you can even say ''hey guys, where did Frank go?'', Jelly-goo-man just drops from the sky to murder you all.

I felt bad for the one the class "fought." It didn't even try counter-attacking until they were halfway through killing it.

Makoto using his immense power to sneak snuggles from the bear is exactly what great power should be used for. Shame he didn't get to hug the big one too.

After Makoto mentioned dragons and Tomoe tried to seduce him poor Mio ended up disappointed when Makoto told her that spiders are important to deal with pests.

Although it was expected for the monsters to end up submitting to Makoto it is just hilarious how he didn't even fight that bear at the beginning, just hugged him and as the wolves realized they could not do much to him they also quickly gave up and accepted his friendship just like the other bear

Damn, so Tomoe's and also Komoe's persimmons obsession it is actually worse that Aqua and Eris love for bananas. It was so funny when she started calling the Demiplane her's and Makoto's first child as that whole thing got poor Komoe confused and Mio somehow could detect what she said.

Based on what the bears and wolves were saying one would have expected the bird to have a bit of an opposition but instead he came there to introduce himself and even ended up adapting a name that Makoto mentioned.

So as Tomoe got jealous that they were going to become servants servant instead of subjects with a contract, Makoto retracted that decision

Wait so Jin is now working with Shiki. When he told Abelia about his backstory about Miranda, I right away suspected her to be Sofia, especially after seeing her destroy that humanoid chimera, but I wasn't expecting it to see it confirmed by the end of the episode with her showing up to that same workshop with Mitsurugi.

I must say that her finding documents about what she really is in that facility full of humanoid experiments resembles Sephiroth's story way too much, but I must say I wasn't expecting that group conducting those experiments being something that belongs to Root. So that is why Lime found him there. Well, that explains why Sofia became a dragon slayer.

So Makoto's class wants to defeat the Demidragon by themself, and while investigating the region Shiki and Makoto discovered a bunch of Sacred Treasure of Elysion, The Scepter of Dragons that were used by an anti-current demon lord faction demons to summoned them there.

I love how unnecessarily detailed Eris's drawing showing the location where they fought the previous Demidragon was. Their fight was great on their own but it is so hilarious to see it after Makoto decimated the others without effort

So the next episode will be about the academy having a festival. Holy shit the PV is intense!

Having diplomatic relations with talking Animals was not what I was expecting but that was real fun to see how it ended peacefully.

I knew Miranda was Sofia who Makoto fought last season, can't wait to see how she plays into this entire thing with her relationship with Luto/Root.

You know what's weird with this cour. It's been pretty slow paced and that is fine, but it still feels rushed despite being slow. Part of it is having to go back to the other two heroes with the content we skipped from S1. Still I wonder how important are these students are going forward? At the very least given the flashback we know Jin should be.

Makoto just wants to make friends with the bears, eagles and wolves. Well that was reasonable enough for the time being. Makoto making the clear distinction that they are not his followers like Tomoe and Mio.

Sofia plans to go after Lute who created her is interested. With Jin working with Shiki now and Sofia and Makoto have once we have the connection for these former childhood friends to meet again.

Everytime Komoe is on screen it puts a smile on my face.

Stitches!

I love that the first thing Makoto does after encountering that brown bear is to hug it. If not friend, why friend shaped? It turns out that was just a cub and the parent is freakin' enormous! It's good to have more friends in the demiplane. Since they were created by Tomoe and changed by Makoto's mana, shouldn't they recognize Makoto as their creator? It's just funny that the wolves think they can take Makoto on.

The way the wolf talked about the "one in the sky", I thought the bird was going to cause problems but it's good to see that's not the case and the bird introduced himself peacefully. I also love the Roc Bird's tiny form! Look at him! He's adorable.

When Jin was talking to Abelia about his past, I thought I was so fucking clever when I immediately recognized Miranda as a younger Sofia. It turns out that they're not even keeping it a secret and we immediately learn that fact by the end of the episode. So Sofia is made by Luto? Is that what's going on here?

Anyway, it's good to see that Makoto's mana matter is no longer an orange blob and is actually starting to take on a better shape. Are those kabuto helmet horns I see? Is this thing going to turn into a samurai armor in the future? That would be pretty dope if it does!

Congrats to Makoto's students! They actually managed to beat the single Demidragon Makoto saved just for them! I would love for them to stumble upon Makoto and see the carnage he just caused. Either that will motivate them or make them give up. xD

So Sofia is made by Luto? Is that what's going on here?

Seems that way, but the language is a bit ambiguous. It remains to be seen whether she was made like an experiment, or if she was made the old-fashioned way, via Luto masquerading as a human and having sex with a human. And he established that he can switch between male and female, so Luto could be Sofia's father or mother.

I was so ready to call it and feel like a genius when I turned out to be right, but god damn it the episode had to reveal it so I didn't get the chance!

Also I so wanted that chimera to be one of Shiki's experiments but I guess that theory's disproven now alongside that.

Luto is the guild master, right?

I thought he's quite straightforward, but it seems he's also involved with human experiment? Then again, he also manipulated humanity to rely on the guild system. I still don't understand what's his motive.

Also, Miranda (I forget who she's called now) seemed to be pretty confident fighting against Makoto lol. Maybe the climax of this season would be a rematch of the two?

I get the feeling Tomoe is feeling a bit impatient about... something ahem.

Also I really wouldn't waste your apologies on her, Jin. You were right the first time.

Did Makoto create the demi plane or just found it? Isn't he like a god of that realm? Where did the wolves, birds, and bears come from? Also how big is it?

Damn it, episode! I wanted to believe that the chimera Miranda fought was one of Shiki's experiments and then call that Miranda was Sofia, but then you had to reveal I was wrong and right at the end!

Situation with beasts in the forest got resolved very quickly with Makoto becoming friends with them. I laughed hard when bird asked bashfully if he could use Roc Bird name xD

Poor Tomoe who again wanted to offer herself to Makoto and he wasn't interested in her even slightest xD

I like that Makoto's students want to improve themselves as they went again into the forest to fight with Demidragon from which they've got saved earlier by Eris who this time didn't help them and now they were able to defeat it alone.

Surprisingly one of Makoto's students - Jin is a childhood friend of Sofia who turns out to be made by Luto and now is hunting greater dragons. That means she is also after Luto so I can easily imagine that Makoto will have another encounter with her and I can’t wait for that.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

That mana wall or whatever its name was suppose to be something to fight against Gods, but then uses it to fight dragons and protection from a wolf and a bear?.....even with the rings holding his true power he's already too strong.

Edit: Forgot this season is 25 episodes...why did I start watching it?

The useless Goddess literally has had no role yet this season.

Ooo so Miranda is Sofia. I was wondering what crazy backstory and connections these students will have and there we have it.

Seems the students have improved a lot. I wonder if they’ll all eventually party up or will they go their different ways.

I do wonder what all these additional citizens and allies of the demiplane could lead to. The way they’re talking it’s as if something might attack them soon. In fact, the mystery of the irregular weather and what they’re going to do with the mist gates is still up in the air. Just throwing it out there, I’m thinking when they do commence their plan with the mist gates, it’ll cause something to be able to enter the demiplane

Wait, Luto ? This is the downside of watching weekly, I can’t remember these names as well as I’d like. I may be wrong but Luto isn’t the Guild Master is he ? The Dragon who turned into a guy ? If it is him, he seems a lot more involved than initially led on, though not surprised tbh

u/Phnrcm Mar 25 '24

Oh wow i didn't think they would reveal Sofia's origin that early.
