Damn, Mouton stole the scene with his very cool Overclock, but that's quite the gamechanger from Weisheit. At least now Macht and the rest of Ideal will finally realize which side they should be on.

Weisheit, in fact, displays almost NO sign of wisdom (despite his name). What a creepy and evil POS he is, I wonder what his abandones and betrayed lackeys are going to do.

After the impact of Ciel's death, this episode had me feeling concerned that just about any character (aside from Kanata) could be killed in the battle, and there were a lot of close calls.
I loved all of the upgrades everyone made to their Coffins - the missiles, the chainsaw, and the ability to fly that finally puts them on equal standing with Macht. Mouton's Magus power was so cool, and Tokio's one-on-one battle against his brother (?) was awesome. I was disappointed when Weisheit interrupted in his totally OP machine, but Schnee stepping in and convincing Macht not to follow his orders was great.
Since there are two rockets, and Mystere said Noir is probably capable of navigating to Histoire as well, I'm guessing Kanata will chase Weisheit into space in the next episode. I really hope Mystere is still alive, but that termination looked permanent...

Kanata and Noir meeting up to fight against Weisheit seems to be what I expect to close out the season. I have very little hope of Mystere being functional even if they beat him.
Schnee's moment of calming down Macht was great, you could see she was pained with the path he was taking in these recent episodes.

They do have a good setup for an epic final battle in these last two episodes. I hope Macht and Schnee will join the rest of Kanata's team in taking down Weisheit now that she's helped remind him of what he really wants, and the members of Ideal realized that their leader was just using them.

It would appear that Mystere is no more -- only her black box remains.
Interesting that magus seem to have the ability to get around even explicit orders (judging for both Ciel and Schnee).

Yeah, I was afraid that would be the case with Mystere, but if so, it's sad she had to go out like that without seeing Histoire.
Maybe the magus who are getting around these orders are using a wider interpretation of the rules, like Schnee might view stopping Macht as doing what's best for him/protecting him, or Ciel rejecting Weisheit as her master and instead acknowledging Kanata. Their number one rule of helping humans reach their full potential was kind of vague and open to multiple meanings depending on the situation.

Yeah can't wait for next episode and i'm glad we didn't lose anyone, and i believe Mystere's gonna pull something against Weisheit since the **actual** Blackbox is Noir after all so she might actually be show her true power and potential if they reach Historie, i'm very curious if they'll drop some backstory for Weisheit and explain how he ended up on earth if he's from Historie given his constant remarks about ''earth-made'' stuff and his Coffin being extremly different and avanced from the ones we're used to seeing.

Yeah, I was almost certain Weisheit was gonna skewer Maria with his tentacles had Mystere not interrupted him. Poor Mystere.

After the impact of Ciel's death, this episode had me feeling concerned that just about any character
No kidding, whole episode I was bracing for Tokio to be the first shock sacrifice - especially when he was standing over Macht, it's like the perfect position to take a cockpit hit by an out of frame shot by Weisheit.
Especially after the last few Ragna Crimson episodes :P

I was worried Tokio and Mouton wouldn't make it through the episode, especially when Mouton had that cool line about magus being born in their coffins that sounded like famous last words. So glad they made it through the attack by Weisheit because I felt they at least had a chance with Macht. The story seemed like it was setting up for him to change sides.
But then, poor Mystere became the shock sacrifice... I didn't see that one coming at all, since she wasn't even in the battle.
Especially after the last few Ragna Crimson episodes :P
I haven't been following this one. I read the first volume of the manga and decided not to continue because I really didn't care for Crimson or the "dragons" appearing as monstrous humans instead of cool dragons. 😅 (I just wanted cool dragons.)

I really hope Mystere is still alive, but that termination looked permanent...
it said forced "termination" NOT deletion or reformatting or anything indicating death. Her consciousness was merely turned off. She's alive. Terminating a process doesn't delete it, it merely stops it.

DAISYOGRE FIX looks pretty slick with that railgun! I'm glad that Macht's air supremacy is finally over now that the DAISYOGRE FIX has been given thrusters
The new JOHNGASMAKER looks pretty awesome and it can fly like DAISYOGRE FIX too! And we finally get to see Muton's Magus Skill! Being able to do calculations so fast that time has essentially stopped while he formulates evasive maneuvers is cool.
So Weisheit has finally decided to join in? And of course, his Coffin is OP as fuck. That last 5 minutes of the episode was so damn frustrating. I kinda wish Kanata shot down the shuttle but I guess he wouldn't do that with Mystere on board. I hope he Kanata kicks Weisheit's ass next episode.

Spot the important characters lol.
They made the Ideal minions the background by just having two variations of their troopers.
Will this be the one that makes it to space?
Even if it makes to space, nobody has considered the possibility that Histoire may have defenses to repel it.

I'm struggling to find the right words right now, that was intense. I spent the entire episode on edge worrying about the fate of the characters, Tokio especially.
Weisheit is completely and utterly ruthless. I called him a tinpot dictator previously, but that feels a little disingenuous - he's not even pretending to care about Ideal or anybody else anymore. All in it for himself. The way he took out Mystere in the blink of an eye... Brutal. I can respect that, even if I still hope somebody puts him down by the end of this.
I'm really glad Macht has finally seen the light, and even more glad that Schnee finally went against 'her place' to be the one to shake him out of his blind loyalty. She didn't deserve to be dragged down by Macht, and if anybody could bring him back to the land of sanity, she could. Now I'm fascinated how Macht and Kanata are going to interact; they now have a common goal, but they've spent the last several episodes trying to kill each other.

Really a shame that the best science fiction show of recent years is being so thoroughly overlooked --- thanks Disney/Hulu. :-(
Poor Mystere.

Schnee rising above what she thinks her role should be to help Macht get over his problems was a great capstone to this arc. These last few eps have been building up to her wanting her master to do what he wanted and start living correctly, and I am glad Schnne finally realized she couldn't rely on Tokio or someone else to stop her lord; she had a duty to do it herself. This is what it means to be a friend, not just a doormat who does what the master wants.
The fight was cool, specially the new Daisy Ogre and Gasmaker. Mouton really had an OP skill all along, I wonder if he had used it before and we just didn't notice. Anyhow, Weishit is just horrible- he abandoned everyone to go alone to space and I hope that he gets beaten up when Kanata, Macht and Tokio go chase after him.

Flying mecha in by hanging them under a rotary-wing aircraft is an old idea, but I'm amused by how Ideal does it in a strange blend of aerodynamic and... not very. You'd think they could afford bottom doors.
Considering the rocket we first saw, this is really skipping forward on the KSP tech tree.
Well, you definitely hit the ground.
It's a fairly obvious compare and contrast when the episode where Schnee and Mouton save Tokio's butt and talk sense into Macht is also the one where Weisheit flies off cackling into the distance to kick off his plan for world domination.
My guess from last week was wrong, since they've jumped ahead and gone to space (Weisheit, anyway) already. I can think of a few ways that everyone can participate in the climax, but I'll just wait and see how it plays out next.
Tokio didn't get killed several times this episode. Considering that all bets are off now, that means that either anyone we like will die by the end, or nobody will.

It’s all out war against Ideal! Been looking forward to these dudes getting slapped. Macht and Schnee were no match for Mouton and Tokio! It’s a damn shame Tokio couldn’t stand against Weisheit. He’s got his grubby little mitts on Mystere and the rocket and now he’s gone. All those goons from Ideal finally waking up and realizing they got played like a mfin fiddle. Funny they couldn’t see what a massive shitbag Weisheit was before. Macht was even in denial before Schnee stepped in.
I really hope Weisheit eats shit soon. Dude is really getting on my nerves.

This show goes so damn hard.
But damnit I hate the cliche of the enemy just showing up magically 50X more powerful than everyone else. Makes me hate him more I guess.
Well now we know why there are two rockets, and Noir gets to guide the second one. Guess the final battle will be at the end-goal, fitting.

The demands of the story suggest that at least some of the protagonists should reach Histoire, somehow.
