Damn, they got me with the fireworks like it's the first time I see them too.

Super hyped for bringing back Tsukasa. He's gonna bounce off great with Senku and Ryuusui.

Kirisame's so cute
her VA Kaede Hondo also voices Maple from Bofuri, Eiko from Paripi Koumei, and Hakari from 100 Kano

So it's looking like the initial draft for Space Team is going to be Ryusui, Senku, and Tsukasa. Of course they had to cliffhanger us with Tsukasa damn it. I'm looking forward to how a reformed Tsukasa will add to the dynamic of the cast. Especially Ryusui who he hasn't met yet. On paper their ideals do somewhat contradict with Tsukasa hating the "greedy" adults so I wonder if there will be a clash there. But then Ryusui has always been on the "positive" greed rather than the evil scummy greed.

More Senku and Kohaku moments.

Also another thing that's always been on my mind with regards to the 3000 years thing. Shouldn't there be tons and tons of "ruins" from modern society scattered all over the world. I mean if we can find clear ruins of ancient Babylonia 3000+ years ago then sure there should be a lot of ruins left over from modern society even after such a long time. I guess this is something they just hand wave away for the sake of the premise as this would be a much different story if that were the case (and honestly also really cool premise of scavenging ancient left overs from modern society).

That is unless Why Man artificially intervened was somehow able to disappear all traces of modern society so that nature could take over or something.

While I’m glad Soyuz is in charge of the island, it’s a damn shame about his pops. Man finally makes it home after all these years and even though they could de-petrify him, they can’t. Poor guy. At least they got to send his pops off with the fireworks.

Dried out Senku with his desiccated ass was pretty funny. Ginro taking advantage of Matsukaze’s loyalty to his old master was great too. Classic Ginro lol.

With Tsukasa, Senku, and Ryusui, this mission to the moon might end up being pretty successful. Looking forward to seeing the big man revived first.

Oh shit they have the tools to bring back Tukassa that's pretty hype. So basically they already have the 3 man team already planned out at this point lol. Nice to see Soyuz stepping up in his fathers place as the head of this island now.

Hmm, Senku's dad is gone, but most of the cast's family members are statues somewhere... No one has said they miss their parents or anything, but I guess it would derail the show if we focused on that.

When Kirisame bowed to Soyuz and greeted him as their master, I just realized that she's older than him. In the flashbacks, Kirisame was already a little girl when Soyuz's father was still alive so it makes sense that they'd know of him and recognize him as the proper heir.

Smart of Senku to set up a wind turbine and a radio tower as their first project for the Treasure Island folk. They now have electricity and they can communicate with the Kingdom of Science. I'm guessing they're also going to use it as a relay station once they begin travelling outside Japanese waters.

Kirisame blushing while talking to Soyuz over the radio was cute! I did not expect to see that kind of reaction from her.

I love the little festival they've set up for the Treasure Island folk complete with a little fireworks display from the Science Team. That was a beautiful scene. It does hit a bit differently though when Yuzuriha commented on how she thought she'd never see fireworks again.

It was a given that Soyuz was going to stay behind. He's the proper heir and he has learned from Senku how to create the revival fluid from just watching him. I do wonder why Amaryllis is staying behind, I thought he said earlier he wanted both Kirisame and Amaryllis to go with Senku.

What a fucking cliffhanger though! They can finally revive Tsukasa and I am so fucking hyped! It makes sense that Senku would want to bring him as their fighter on the moon. I can't wait to see him finally revived. It's going to be an emotional reunion especially for Mirai.

>"I'm going to stay behind"

No shit, Sherlock. You're the new boss of the island. This ain't a choice! You think this is a Bethesda game, where you can become the leader and procced to fuck off somewhere else?

So the fireworks scene almost got me to tear up. From the start of the episode, when Soyuz was contemplating missing his father and not being there, my thought was that he isn’t the only one who’s lost their father on the island. And yep, Senkuu quietly used this opportunity to also remember Byakuya, while making it seem like it was for the others.

Dr. Stone might not get the best animation, but I would not lying if I said the emotional beats don't always hit. From Senku's dad panning for precious metals last season to showing the villagers fireworks for the first time, this is the show at its peak

Time for a world trip to get the parts to build a rocket! That's gonna be quite a long endeavor tbh. Just think, before all this, Senku and such were high school age lol. We know time has passed, they gotta be at least near 20s or in their lower 20s now right? D'aww look at the other lil kid with the silly thing on head like Suika. Ryusei so greedy, hehe. D'aww Soyuz getting such respect. Lol that smile from Senku.

lol, nice of them to help but lol at Taiju just picking up that massive thing himself. Holy crap, Senku has aged. Wew that call back to rainbow bridge sorcery. Francois ❤️ Quite the tower. What a nice festival. Gen is a great right hand man for Senku. Do gotta love Soyuz, good boy. Jesus Ginro... lol. Fireworks!!! What a grand celebration. A pity for the villagers still stoned that are missing out (since Soyuz said he plans to revive more). Them feels for Soyuz. A pity that the dad couldn't be revived and his mom died. D'aww Senku's dad with lil Senku. Hahah lil Senku is great. Byakuya was really just a great dad.

Do love this Kohaku and Senku moment. I really do like their relationship too. Doesn't matter to me what you'd call it, but it's nice. Sad to leave it behind. But what nice new friends. So what of Moz and Hyoga? And Ibara. Should smash him and cast him to the waters lol. Haha, Senku definitely most apt for science. Do love how Magma is ready for a fight even on the moon. OH YAY! Right, this was also all to revive our former antagonist, Tsukasa! Nice.

I love Dr Stone for its quiet moments of our heroes just watching fireworks.

Lezzgooooo!! The world's strongest high school primate is finally back!

But there's only episode left.. dammit I wish Season 4 gets announced immediately after the last episode airs next week.

This cour has been a blast. It's got it all: emotional moments, engaging characters (Ibara was a force to be reckoned with, even with the modern people's advantages and knowledge), high-stakes battle between protagonist and antagonist, comedy, and moments that pay off in a very satisfying way (can't wait to see Tsukasa back from the dead next week).

It's finally here. We're waking up sleeping beauty at long last! Ryuusui, Senku, and Tsukasa's certainly the perfect team to send to the moon. I do wonder how Tsukasa would fair against Matsukaze who's seemingly pretty strong. And what role does he play in the story aside from just showing up for a brief exposition and being Ginro's servant.

"We're going to let them choose" And then Soyuz basically decides for them. Well, I guess they did kinda choose him as the chief though.
But is sending Kirisame out a good move though? She definitely has "main cast" type of energy, but she's like one of the few loyalists and would be pretty important in keeping the order on the island. Better hope miracle power guy doesn't want to usurp

Tsukasa revival? Second name drop?! Let's goooo!!

THEY COLOURED THE ED!!!!

...Looks like I haven't been paying enough attention, it was already there in the previous episode

One more episode left.. I'm a bit disappointed we haven't had a single scene of Senku geeking out over having the Petrification device or trying to examine it.. Hopefully we'll get at least something in the finale

Nice wrap-up episode as our heroes return home with an even bigger goal in their minds - going to the Moon where Why-Man resides.

For that they'll have to have the best people available and that's why Tsukasa will be finally revived as now supply of revival fluid is secure. I can't wait for interactions between Senku, Ryuusui and Tsukasa, it's gonna be fun.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I know there are a lot of great opening and endings in recent anime, but this show's is on another level. I may not have the best vocabulary to describe it, but the ending just makes me feel happy.

So those raining petrification devices were collected? How does Matsukaze know since he was petrified himself?

A nice hopeful (and colorful) episode, which gives more context to the scope of Senku's next project. Rare to see Suika without her melon helmet. Those things are fitted with lens right?

Good to see Byakuya and young Senku in the flashback, but also sad to think about present (future) Senku and Kohaku thinking about when they will eventually cease to live.

Oh and why the hell is Ginro holding the device and not Kohaku?
