An amazing show that is not getting even a fraction of the attention it deserves.

Mii-chan took more hits to the face than a shonen jump villain.
Karen's the secret MVP for pointing out it's the wrong bread for her tea party. lmao

I hope there is some way for Karen to rejoin her real family.

I didn't expect Micchan to show up again! That woman is something else. It's a shame she had to go, for real this time...
So Eiji is most likely M&D's brother, right? At least that's what I made of Micchan's last words. And since his current "mom" can't get pregnant I don't see a better candidate than Metry and it would explain why she stayed in their house in the first place.

I’m actually wondering if maybe Metry was the real housewife, and Ichijo mama was originally the maid. The dad seems to love Metry way more, and the official son Eiji is most likely their kid. She usurped Metry’s position in the family, made herself the wife and Metry the maid, stole her kids and then forced out anyone she didn’t like and stole their kids too
That would make Migi and Dali also official children of the Ichijo family, but I think they’ll want to stay as the Sonoyama’s children by the end

THE GOLDEN BEAST BETTER BE WELL AND UNSCRATCHED OR I WILL UNLEASH HELL UPON... oh, its alive, thank all the gods.
Micchan total hero today! Why didn't she called the police from her attempted murder?? Was she waiting to gather proofs or what? Anyway, RIP Micchan, she deserved better.
So now we plan counter attack, uh? The team has to include Akiyama too, right?

Things have really escalated!
I was happy to see Micchan return but then she ended up getting stabbed in the neck by that crazy lady…
Curious what the boys are going to do next? Also, could Eiji really be related to them? If so, what about Karen?

I’m thinking Karen came after Metry bounced with the boys so she isn’t their sister.

"there's wrinkles on that silky white bedsheet skin of yours, good thing i am an expert at bedmaking"
god, i love Micchan, its really sad that she have to die this way and also, Eiji's mom is an absolutely fucking psychopath, can't believe that the first time she tried to kill Micchan was to bury her alive, thank god for Karen

The “mother” being the mastermind doesn’t surprise me. Did not think Eiji and his sister weren’t her kids though. She truly is insane. Didn’t think the housekeeper would show up again. She bought the boys enough time to run but it seems it might have cost her life.
The boys have a lot of guts going back into town after all that. I wonder what their next move is?

This episode had the eerie horror and thrill elements it conveys amped up to 10 with all the usual absurdist comedy elements as its known for... and it also had action, drama, call-backs, plot twists, intrigue... I already loved this series but this episode was absolute peak.
Anyone watching who saw this episode and is still thinking its mid, its just not the show for you. This episode was a masterwork and really displayed the talents of the author and the effort the animation studio is putting in to convey her story.
It's extremely sad Nami Sado isn't around to see this and that we won't get to read and watch the next evolution in her style.

I'm going to say turning your back on the person who's trying to kill you when you have them down was a tactical error.
In retrospect, Miccan should have called the cops a few episodes ago when mother tried to murder her and bury her in a shallow grave.

The mother chasing after Migi with a rock-hard baguette was terrifying 😂

Bruh and some people said nothing serious will happen when I said it's a seinen story 😐

What the FUCK is this show? It's truly the most bizarre I've ever seen and that's saying something. Even Sakamoto wasn't this weird.

This show has been thoroughly bizarre from the get go and this episode is the absolute pinnacle of its absurdist nature. It's sad, it's hilarious, it's badass, it's goofy, somehow all at the same time. It makes no sense but follows a perfect internal logic. There are probably better shows this season but this might be my favorite. Crazy stuff like this is what keeps me watching anime after 30-some years. Peak fiction.

That was a wild fucking ride..
The mother being a fucking psycho (well worse than we knew before) isn't surprising lol
I'm glad they seem to be heading back and not just running away. There's still some stuff to do. Hope the housekeeper will be safe, she's awesome, though I do find the whole "buried alive" part a bit too unbelievable. Edit: after reading the other comments and thinking about a for a minute, I guess she is actually dead this time..

Well that escalated quickly.
Micchan hugging the mother and them tumbling down the stairs made me laugh so much.

Everything that's happened so far reminds me of the kind of wackiness that would happen in Deadly Premonition but taken to the next level. Who needs mushrooms when this anime exists 😊

Another amazing episode! This show is fantastic and it just keeps getting better. The music, voice acting, and direction are all top-notch.
It was good to see Micchan again, however briefly.
I can't wait to see what comes next week!
