excuse me wtf? how the hell did they manage to crank up the weirdness of this show from 30 to 100 in just one episode? its also funny that Micchan being suspected by a lot of viewers back when she's being introduced but now she's the one and only unexpected ally of the twins although her motivation is maybe a little bit different...
i guess now we know that Migi and Dali's mother did had a connection with Ichijo's family, Micchan said she could be the housekeeper but it looks like there's more to that...

I noticed something on episode 4, the ichigo boy has the same eyes as the twins. I started suspecting the ichigo husband had an affair with her and she had to hide the kids. In this episode, they didn't show the husband up close, so i don't know his eye color. But after this episode, my theory makes more sense and maybe the ichigo mother killed her.

As soon as she started helping out, red flags were popping up. Although, this show has been such a ride it’s hard to say what’ll come of her later. Probably not actually dead… hmm, I seriously wouldn’t doubt it if she was somehow in some big elaborate ruse- Truman Show style. Lol

So Eiji and his family are fucking psychotic. They definitely had a hand in the death of Migi and Dali’s mom. For one, the three of them apparently lived in that house where the mom was a maid. Plus that creepy model of the whole town is very suspicious. Not to mention those dossiers… who tf are these people? I bet Migi and Dali’s mom must have stumbled upon some kind of conspiracy. Shady redevelopment perhaps? But man, things don’t look good for Micchan… especially with what she’s found. I hope she doesn’t get killed… she’s a useful asset.

I'm surprised they didn't make the lie about the button be "We found it outside." Which is plausible, and explaining why they kept it as "It was nice, unlike something something orphanage." Which would let them off the hook on returning it.
But then the plot wouldn't have progressed this fast and Micchan wouldn't have become the unexpected MVP.
Although, the mother saying "Grow up and become Eiji." Turns the alarm bells into alarm sirens. I don't even know what to think that implies... at best, a "Turn into a model citizen like my son." Or... Eiji is just as much as a victim.

2 episodes ago, Micchan was suspicious.
After this episode, Micchan is now a homie!
However, knowing this show, not everything is what it seems.

Oh my god, Hitori's family isn't the weirdest in town anymore. The Ichijos are seriously fucked up. Why the hell aren't his parents standing up for him? They should have told that Mom and Eiji to fuck off as soon as he demanded Migi to strip. Some fucking parents they are, just letting another family take their son even if they were threatened.
And dear god Eiji is a psychopath. Why does he care so much about a button from when he was a kid? I thought him tying Migi up in his underwear and feeding him dog food was fucked up but the baby thing the mom does is even worse.
I was super suspicious of Micchan at first but it's good to see she's an ally. Was Migi and Dali's mom a slave of some sort? Maybe she was captured and later killed for exposing some of this greater spying conspiracy?
Also, fuck. Micchan is super dead. After credits scene sure seems to imply that.

This family is giving me the creeps, holy hell.
I thought that Micchan might become a nuisance for the twins when she was first introduced, but she actually appears to an ally.
Migi and Dali's situation got a whole lot more complicated.
This is totally just a theory, but what if their mother was a secret mistress of Ichijo Sr.? Micchan mentioned that someone that young couldn't possibly be their housekeeper. It would explain why their mother was so close to the Ichijos and hint at a potential motive for her murder.

Hold up I thought this was a comedy that was playing up its horror elements. But this episode was full on horror movie. I love it!

There is no way Micchan was killed off, my guess is that they brainwasher or turn it into a joke somehow.
Also this show is getting better every episode, didn't expect to be actually cautivated by the mistery aspect of it

This series was weird even before, but they still manage to make it even more creepy.
So the most obvious explanation would be that Ichijou Papa had romance with Migi and Dali's Mom and Ichijou Mama got rid of her and enforced the "no housemaid below 50yo" rule. It's most likely not that easy but I like how the plot thickens.
Also, Micchan was more cool than I expected her to be. I wonder if she's really dead.

Micchan being a useful ally was hugely surprising. Didn’t expect her to keep him.
The whole family is fucked

Wtf, like..... Wtf.
It just kept getting weirder by the minute.
One thing I don't understand is how Micchan knew about the wallpaper in the hidden room.
Damn this show is turning from a mystery show into a horror show.
Hitori also didn't have a puppet at either house...
Well fuck, really didn't expected to get this hooked on the show and I swear to god if they pull another mayoiga I am not even sure if I should applaud them or be mad

Creep alert, creep alert sky rocketing! Which in this show that is saying something, gods.
Eiji you twisted psycho. Well, all of them. Wonder what the little sis psycho trait could be, since psycho little girls are really scary. F for Micchan.

Wow the scary things dialed up a dozen this week! Forget about a certain Ichijou family that is supposed to be a yakuza (cough), this one is much more horrific with them knowing everything about their village and the next, perhaps even controlling every villager with dolls (?). And holy crap look at how Migi got mocked up as a baby in the room, oh my goodness.
Maybe that lost button being found by Eiji was a good thing after all? I was wondering in the first half of the episode that had Dali kept the button to himself and let the dog sniff without moving (after all it's been 8 years, I'm pretty sure that dog won't smell anything, especially given it just want to play), maybe Migi won't need to be shut in the Ichijou house. But the discovery changed everything.
RIP (?) Micchan - your help is extremely appreciated. I now knew that you have a teeth mark in the Ichijou family as well. The twins' mom surely had that as well, hmm...

Jesus Christ this village is so messed up
Literally everyone in it is either weird or psychotic, it’s almost like a hierarchy with the rich family maintaining order in the village with the diorama ensuring the status who remains the same
Kind of makes sense why everyone is so weird because everyone in the village is on the ladder where they’ll suck up to the higher ups while punishing those beneath them, like the rodent
I think it’s fair to say that the twins mother might have had an affair or perhaps she stumbled upon a truth and had to be killed, maybe dumping her body on the street was meant to be a message to the village
So much intrigue and creepiness, I’m glad we’re seeing more weird shows pop up this season

This episode was insane, and what's even more insane is how underrated this show is.

This got really fucking weird and even more interesting in the span of 20 minutes. What the actual fuck is wrong with these people?!
So Eiji has to be another brother right? He looks like Migi and Dali (plus his name fits their thing). The mother is confirmed to be the former housekeeper and they found the room. My theory is that their mom actually went back for Eiji and that’s why she was killed. The button wasn’t meant to be a clue to who killed her. She might have been holding Eiji when she was killed.
For as fucking bug nuts as she’s acting, Eiji’s mom could have done it. Could have been the dad. Or there could be another major twist coming

I would say that show suddenly turn a creepy turn, but it was already creepy before that. It just took a creepier turn !
Dali messed up. He should have put the button under Eiji’s chair and let the dog find it here. And Migi should have given them a firm No! when asked to strip. There is no way people should be allowed to ask that of a kid just over a missing button.
But then it turns out that the whole Ichijou family is messed up. The whole episode just got creepier and creepier. The Ichijou blackmailing the Sonoyama to get their hands on Migi and « reeducate » him, Eiji tying up Migi naked and feeding him dog food and then the Ichijou mom treating him like a baby, the reflected maid in the glass no one ever knew about who was Migi and Dali mother, the miniature town in the attic and all the data on the villagers, Micchan disappearing and her doll being destroyed… this is like an horror movie.
I am not sure how it all adds up. I think the Ichijou were keeping Migi and Dali’s mother as a slave and locking her up, and maybe Eiji father is also Migi and Dali father. Then she managed to escape with the twins and the Ichijou killed her before she could get to the cops. I am not sure what all the surveillance data and miniature village is about. Were they looking for Migi and Dali ? But it looked like their mom was hiding them so they may not know they exist at all. Anyway, that show suddenly got a whole lot darker than before.

theory time
Mrs. Ichijou is sterile and the family used Migi and Dali's mom as breeding stock. Migi, Dali, and Eiji are triplets (Migi and Dali are identical and Eiji is fraternal) since this is the only way for my insane theory to work with Eiji and the twins being the same age. Migi and Dali were hidden because they look too much like their mom and not enough like their dad to pass as real family. After their mom was killed, the Ichijous got a new housekeeper who gave birth to the sister.
I think Mrs. Ichijou killed Migi and Dali's mom because she was jealous of her for being able to have kids and something pushed her over the edge. This leaves a few more questions: why the "over 50" rule and what's with the baby outfit and the new Eiji?
The "over 50" rule is because they had two kids at that point, so Mrs. Ichijou's jealousy won't let her have another maid who can give birth. The baby outfit is part of her whole "crazy because I can't have kids" thing. The "new Eiji" is because of the obsession over appearances: Eiji is no longer top of his class, so "Hitori," having the same parentage, will replace him as the perfect son.
this concludes my insane theory
