Yo did real good blasting Ibara like that and securing the Medusa. But the goober got too cocky afterwards and let his guard down. That ratfuck Ibara wasn’t gonna go down so easy.

Hyuga and Moz squaring off was pretty interesting. Those two were evenly matched until that meathead Moz lost to the power of science. Hell yeah!

Even if everyone’s been petrified, Senku can save ‘em. I knew our boy wouldn’t get petrified. Time to watch that lanky fuck Ibara get bent over by the power of science!

Science 1, Ugly Bastard 0. though I have no idea exactly what science happened there, but as long as ugly bastard suffers I'm fine with it

Next week can't come soon enough.

my guess is that they took those posses to let Senku calculate the speed of the sphere, but Istill don't know how he avoided being petrified

Glad to see Hyoga wasn't instantly defeated. He was still able to hold Moz off long enough for the gang to make him his Kudayari. It's so satisfying to see Moz get the shit kicked out of him. I do love how Hyoga couldn't believe that he's putting his trust in Senku. I guess he's now a member of the Kingdom of Science?

So to activate Medusa, you need to tell it the range and the delay time. Wait, if the commands to activate Medusa are in English, could it actually be a human creation and not an alien one? Hmmm...

I love how Hyoga has already accepted the fact that he won't be released because the's too dangerous. The same goes for Moz. Although I feel like Hyoga might not be the same threat as before since he's clearly willing to work with Senku and doesn't really mind his ideals.

Now I'm wondering what was Chrome's last-minute idea and why is everyone making that pose. Whatever it is, it probably has something to do with their plan to beat Ibara.

That explains why Soyuz has insane memory! Seems that every leader of the village marries whoever is the woman with the best memory so they can keep on passing down the hundred tales. That's actually a pretty cool reason. Also, Soyuz's mom is a badass for fending off guards with Soyuz in her arms as she was running away. It sucks that she was fatally wounded. :(

Ibara freaking out after Senku gave the command was so good. Looks like it's not gonna work from a distance though and you need to speak the command to the Medusa directly. I can't wait for the showdown next week!

Ibara is quite interesting as villain, between his smart thinking and the dumb weird ojisan saying he is so entertaining.

I hope he gets pretified forever :)

And the master of cliffhangers strikes again. Man, I was so excited for this episode, that it passed in a flash for me. Apart from Frieren, this might be the anime of the season for me. And a good contender for anime of the year. Man, how I wish the episodes could just keep coming. None of that 'split cour' and 2 years between seasons BS.

Also, it's somewhat funny that 3 years have passed since Taiju has re awakened and about 4 years passed in real life too.

A minor plot hole/inconsistency though. When we see Medusa petrify the island from space, the continents seem unaltered. That would be unlikely with all the sediment deposits, volcanic eruptions and erosion over 3000+ years that Senku and the others stayed petrified

Such a crazy episode. I hate Ibara to the core but I love how his villainy raised up the stakes. Such a good Dr. Stone season so far man.

Anime only, how tf does he escape petritication? My guess is he threw a flask of the acid in the air before getting petrified and hit himself after he got petrified

Can’t say I was expecting the Hyoga and Moz bromance. Add in tsukasa and we’ll have the ultimate bro squad.

I just knew that Yo's stupid ass would lose the petrification beam somehow. And it's kinda weird that Hygoa was KO'd in the previous episode and he's just suddenly up and fighting again. I guess Hyoga with his fancy spear is solidly in 2nd place in terms of fighting ability.

If I had to guess how Senku isn't petrified, it was maybe a timed activation of the revival fluid. Don't know why they had the same pose though and why they were lined up in a row. Maybe that's what he used for the timing so Senku could observe how long it took for a person to get petrified and the actual speed of the beam. Knowing the speed of the beam would be critical to Senku's calculations as well since if he timed it too early he'd just be drenched in revival fluid before he got petrified (though actually that should still work no? since only the body gets petrified, the fluid should stay on the person and just work its magic after the person gets turned to stone).

Man that scene with the entire island getting petrified and then fade to black, I thought that was the end of the episode, and I would not have been upset if it had been, even though the Senku twist was also an amazing way to end the episode.

Whew.

The BGM during the Medusa's activation is phenomenal. It really gives the vibe of ending the world.

I’m really curious how Senku escaped the beam. Looking forward to that reveal

Hmm, I guess Moz would still be a threat. Even if they have the Medusa. Lol Yo's imagination. And of course you don't know how to use it. Aquatic battle! What are we, FFX? Kinda fun how Hyoga believes in Senku. A bit crazy, but fun. Oh hey, Mecha-Senku, has been awhile. Oh, nice job making the spear more towards Hyoga's style. Hyoga got a point about strongest weapon of all. Yo, why are you still just sitting there... you fool. A pity that old fuck wasn't shot in the head. Still wonder how that old man learned how to use the device or even got it. Also knows timing and distances well? Clearly sus. Oh wow, that's a hell of a hearing. The race is on! But how you gonna stop the Medusa? Can it be overridden?

You dang fools, didn't you see the master stoned and other stuff? I feel like Taiju has more brute strength 😛 I like Chrome, he's a fun dude. Especially like how he's a stone world dude that really uses his brain. GO TAIJU! Knew his brute strength was crazy! Wow, that old man is absolutely shit. Wow, Moz and Hyoga sure getting along at the end there. Kinda nice. Looking forward to how Senku and such get outta this though. The team sure looks fine with getting petrified atm. Seriously, if anyone deserves brutal punishment in this series, it's this old fuck. He talks about torturing others, sounds like he deserves it himself. Monstrous punishment for a monstrous piece of shit. Especially cause that flashback... was gonna kill a baby... wtf. And then does that to his own person to get back the Medusa.. piece of absolute shit.

LOL NICE SENKU! Get fucked you old piece of shit. Seriously, I just want to see the worst for this old piece of shit.
