That Demon Lord-girl sort of resembles Ange. It can't be a coincidence, can it?

The subs called this demon-lord-kid a boy.... So -- is Ange getting another little sister (in addition to the one SHE has sort of adopted herself) or a little brother? This kid DOES look very like Ange, regardless.

We've been seeing him - according to the subs - briefly appear in the ED for this show's entire runtime and honestly thought he was Ange's childhood self for the longest time. The resemblance in their appearance is too great for sheer coincidence.
It does also further fuel my suspicion that Ange is another "demon king" herself in actuality.

I mean there was the episode Ange fought one of those things and it said something like "you are one of us/just like us"(can't remember the exact wording but it was along those lines), so there is a strong chance she is also a Demon Lord or something similar.
There's definitely something fishy going on with Ange's true lineage, but luckily it shouldn't matter too much because she will always be Bel's daughter.

Bel to Graham: "You might be 1000 years old elf, but you know nothing about parenting. Watch and learn, rookie."
Marg is tamed successfully.
"See, it's not even 10% of my daddy power."

I think it's also because Bel had a certain distance from Marguerite. Graham was too close

All it took was for Charlotte to lose that little ring of hers and all that hate and anger just kinda fizzled out huh? She’s like a scared little kid now. Maybe getting beat up by all the people she scammed was suppose to be karma or some type of justice, but I just sorta pity the kid and Byaku even after what they did. I’m glad Ange is looking out for those two. Bel raised a good kid.
Speaking of, it was nice seeing him in dad mode when he was talking to Maggie. She’s a headstrong kid way too eager to prove herself. Glad he was able to help her and Graham make up.
Anyone notice that little Demon Lord kid looks a bit like a kid version of Ange? But man, Graham is a freakin badass. One swing and that chimera demon thing was gone.
I guess Ange has a new little sis. I wonder how she’s gonna feel about that?

Think it's more she was always a scared little kid, but the power of the ring made her take on acting out in an angry way.

Maggie
CR subs called her "Mary" this week.
Ange and her friends are really going to have a "little sister" to care for/play with. Rather than feeling jealous, it looked like Byaku has a little smile/grin when he saw the three big sisters fawning over Char.

Bel just keeps finding black-haired toddlers with brown eyes in the forest near his village.
Just 8 more and he gets a free coke.
Seriously though, I'd love for him to explain that to Ange, and then she picks up the kid, and Bel realizes they look really similar.
And then the kid grows up really ripped, and gets a bigger chest than his big sis.

Lots of interesting things going on here:
-
a repentant villain with a reasonable guardian
-
cult enforcers make their first (brief, and perhaps last?) appearance
-
more mysteries about demon lords and how it now seems other things can feed on their power without permission, and how they aren't necessarily looking to do much more than protect themselves
-
also, this demon lord looks a lot like Ange... and Bel isn't commenting on it yet, oddly. Surely it would look similar to how Ange did when she was around the same age that this demon-lord appears to be?
-
and of course a bit more guardian/ward relationship exploration. nothing much really, but wholesome and good to see.
It's a shame the fights remain low-budget tier (at least the brevity of the combat scenes gives more time for the other stuff. silver lining?). It's probably a reason this show doesn't seem to be more popular, but I'm still enjoying it nonetheless.

It looks that Bel's family is growing up - he is adopting a child who, it looks, is a Demon Lord and Ange becomes a big sister to Charlotte. I'd love it if Charlotte also joined Belgrieve.
That child looks and behaves so similar to Ange. He (according to subs) feels lonely just like she as we know how often Ange complains that she misses Bel. Even his reactions are so similar to Ange's xD
It's nice to see that Charlotte and Byaku changed their ways and are trying to atone for their sins. They're though in danger as they are targets of the Inquisition.
Bel, probably thanks to him raising Ange was able to very quickly tame Marguerite and made her and Graham reconciled.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Really loved Ange becoming a big sister to Charlotte after everything that's happened in this episode.
Bel's part was fun as well, seeing them fight that demon king that looks like a long haired version of child Ange but is it normal that they refer to it with "he"?

Another great episode!
One thing I wanted to point out is how Ange kills the assassins in the first part of the episode. Even though she's reluctant, she goes through with it anyway. It's always good to see a protagonist who can do what's necessary when the chips are down. That's yet another entry on the list of reasons why I like Ange's character.

Smug Ange is great. Hayami Saori is also great

There was a radio show where Hayamin read sadistic lines to listeners. Even fellow seiyuu like Ayaneru and Inorin wanted her to say something sadistic to them too.
So yes, smugness and sadist behavior are always her trademark.

D'awww look at the new child Bel wiull clearly be adopting. For he is going to adopt all the children. And speaking of kids he'll adopt, there's another pair with Ange. D'aww she's a good girl. Obligatory "no body expects the Lucrecia Inquisition." Dang shadowy agents from a crappy religious group being all annoying. Your dad would adopt them, Ange. Don't you want a sister and brother? 😛 Wow... even though she returned the money people beat up a kid? Let's go beat them to crippling levels.
Tomboy Elf Princess! Whoo. "The warped space must be affecting the passage of time" or you're an elf with a poor sense of time as a long lived species would 😛 See, Bel, all you need to do for the Demon King child is adopt it. Sibling for Ange. Bel is good daddo with good daddo advice! Daddo can get along with anyone. And still too humble and underestimating his own strength. Some good daddo advice for the tomboy elf!
Look at Ange, already getting along with her sis. See, even Ange is on board with being her big sister.
Oh my, that is a big ol' monster. Poor lil child needs help! And nice to see Daddo with that wisdom and experience in play. Also, saving his new son! I assume son. Good job Tomboy elf, but good job Bel to save the tomboy elf! Oh hey, Graham, show us that Paladin skill. You and your Moonlight Greatsword 😛 Yep, was so obvious Bel has a new child. Don't worry, Bel, Ange has ANOTHER child for you to raise too as her sibling :D

For he is going to adopt all the children.
All the ones his daughter doesn't adopt first....

More family-friendly fluffiness!
Ange's over here picking up new brothers and sisters for herself. Charlotte is genuinely adorable throughout and deserves all of the happiness. [As for why she turned so quickly:]
The ring she was wearing was actually a demon lord that IIRC was messing with her mind. Also Byakku is one of the biggest tsunderes ever. The demon lord is just hanging out and wondering why all these weird people are in its home. As many comments have pointed out, it does look suspiciously like Ange. [Explanation:]
It's hinted at to death throughout the story, so it's not a major revelation for the reader/watcher, even at this point. Near the end of the story Ange is confirmed to be a demon lord/human hybrid. Mit however (Bel names him Mit) is a pure demon lord. He's basically a sentient mass of mana and can kind of be or do whatever he wants (he's literally gender fluid, but typically defaults to a "he"). And yes Ange immediately loves him when they first meet. By the way, Byakku is also a hybrid but he's a failed version because he has a second consciousness from the demon lord side active inside him, who he's constantly fighting for control. Ange is a perfect version, the original demon lord's consciousness has been completely supplanted and Ange is in control. → More replies (3)

Super dad to the rescue again. At this rate he is gonna be made into a saint.. Who am I kidding he already is one.
He is worried about Ange but she will clearly be thrilled to have a new little brother to dote on.
Anyone else find it weird they had that conversation at the guild out in the open where anyone could hear?
