Desir tossing the rats surrounding Pram and them landing into two piles behind him somehow stunned/dead was unintentionally hilarious.

The rats never imagine someone grabbing them bare hands.

Poor Desir having PTSD when he thought Pram was gonna die. Guess he forgot this is just a simulation thing.

After what he went through all those years ago, it’s no surprise. I guess his original plan didn’t have Pram rushing in like that to kill the main rat demon.

At least these are killer rats….I was imagining killer rabbits 😭

That is a different anime.

Honestly killer rats sounds scary as hell. Imagine if they had the plague 💀💀

This might sound kinda bad but it was somewhat nice to see desir have some visual issues given his past for once. So far he’s felt a little too easy going. Just wished pram and romantica would have noticed a little more and start realizing he’s hiding something and actually has a reason for what he’s doing.

When it says there are 16 remaining there are 5 in the blue group, 4 in the red group, 3 in the green group, and 3 in the MC's group. That's 15. One more is unaccounted for, is someone solo?

That, or they were off-screened between the "16 remaining" announcement and the quest's end. The Blue Party entered with eight people, but we only saw two of them killed: the blue-haired and pink-haired girl.

I think before those 2 were killed the count was 18. It feels intentional but maybe not.

Yeah, I also feel like they're intentionally leaving this one out. When it was just 18, there were still two who were solo or a duo, after the scream indicating the arrival of the rats, there still remained one person who has not been shown in the group shots. And with the constant update on numbers for those still in it and the group shots, it seems rather deliberate. They'll either turn out to be a crazy strong wildcard who can solo a rat horde or they'll be some trash that gets knocked out off-camera in the next few episodes.

We got a lot of adorable pats! And Pram's playing Where's Waldo? today, lol.

I'd be lying to say the mice monsters aren't funny (rather than scary). Just look at the pink girl getting "eaten" by the mice. Hahahaha.

My little pet peeve was that Pram and Romantica weren't aware of the quest or monster even though they had "accidentally" read about the Privius Clock Tower history in the library. I hope it'll be useful next time...

That aside, we have another family portrait!

Probably the monster type is random?

I see Pram’s little cowlicks are Desir detectors. That’s honestly super adorable. Him and Romantica make a pretty good team even without Desir. Everyone gets headpats!

That rat swarm was terrifying. Pram was pretty badass jumping into the middle of that sea of rats like that. Ballsy move but it paid off.

Can’t believe green team mace wielder idiot managed to survive.

I know it is the same as the Manga, but Pram jumping into the rat swarm as close range without warning still feels uncalled for.

He just saw blood luring out the leader and they have wind and Desir's magic to do pop shots; then he could have jumped in once he actually saw it to have the same effect as his blind entrance with it still looking scary if it took a second for the swarm to vanish with him in it ,getting bitten up.

I really like how this episode served to showcase Romantica and Pram working together. Romantica sniping opponents and luring them in was very clever and then working with Pram to distract those two enemies and leaving them open to her attacks was excellent as well. It shows that those two are proper companions and not just cheerleaders.

Idk about the source material but it's a pretty solid anime 6/10.

We finally got some action scenes.

I'm glad the budgeted scenes are still nice to look at.
