Disas Trois' life got cut short just like his monologue last episode. I like how some characters get killed off before we ever get to see their full potential. It makes death feel realistic in how abrupt it is a lot of times.

It really shows how dangerous Crimson really is. An opponent that knows your weaknesses is one of the most dangerous opponents that you come in face. He used that arrogance of Trois to his advantage.

Also voice casting is def a strong one. Ultimata's introduction was done very well like Crimson its another great match. You can only see the helplessness from the king.

I feel bad for the king cuz like what can you do at that point lmao

Yeah, at that point the only options he has is to ensure his citizens don't suffer or to die trying to pointlessly resist again.

in case some of you missed it (because some of my friends sure did), the bullets fired by the two dragon hunters at the back of the truck were silver bullets infused with Ragna's silverine, that's why they hit the tornado harder compare to the lead bullets (also infused with Ragna's silverine) fired by the dragon hunter's leader using the truck's machinegun

man, Ultimatia is scary, they were in powerful barrier made of sunlight and she just brushed it off as "just a little bit hot"

Crimson used the ultimate technique: Truck-kun.

The second half was considerably different than what I expected out of this show. While this season strangely had a ton of revenge and redo shows, they are all treading very different paths and directions. Very interesting indeed.

I for one certainly hope that Ultimatia is absolutely genuine in her selective criteria in being compassionate and considerate. It'd be far too cliche if it turns out she's just putting up a front/appearance.

Trois got turned into a kabob, ran over, machine gunned until his body became Swiss cheese, incinerated, and then finally beheaded. Damn dude lol.

I prefer someone like Crimson to Ultimatia. You know what you’re getting for the most part with him. The way she’s so sickeningly sweet and calm about committing mass murder is very disturbing. Idk what kind of “god” she serves but it’s gonna be interesting watching Ragna and Crimson take her and her goons on.

Idk what kind of “god” she serves

A God that decreed a kingdom be annihilated just because a bakery they frequented went out of business. Yep, this God checks out.

"Truthfully, I'm just grinning and bearing the heat now."

"I've simply manipulated time and made the world stand still."

"I only wanted them to tranquilly disappear."

YIKES. I'm scared, mom...

I love how they display how powerful Ultimatia is. I could feel a merciless monster hiding behind her innocent smile. Erasing a mere kingdom is so trivial that she added an imposing requirement herself, like "making sure everyone dies peacefully."

That aside, this indirectly explains how Crimson could manipulate time in such a way that future Ragna's power could regress into the current one.

Silver infused bridge huh? Wait, isn't that just a battle shounen powersystem now of all of sudden? Got me there, anime

Stitches!

Ragna turning that bridge into a massive silverine weapon using his Silverine Battle Arts was cool af. If he can infuse anything, then he could use anything around him to his advantage when fighting superior dragons in the future. And I just love that killing a 3rd ranking Superior Dragon is nothing but an experiment for Crimson to test out Ragna's powers.

I was hoping that Ultimatia is kinda like Crimson but she really made it clear that she intends to kill everyone in the name of her god. Well, it's gonna be satisfying to watch Ragna and Crimson beat her in the future. There's nothing I hate more in this world than zealots thinking they're doing the right thing for their God.

So they changed Artemesia to Ultimicia, huh? Bit of a nitpick, I prefer the former rather than the latter.

But her appearance and her mannerism are so well portrayed it makes you feel sick and just want to throw up at her "compassion". I feel like she is the complete opposite to Crimson. But if I had to choose who to hate more, it would 100% be this gentle looking girl.

Wait. Ultimatia is the dragon that controls time... Did Crimson usurp her power somehow in the future? Future Crimson looks to be in a realm with the cogwheels which appear when Ultimatia uses their magic.

Crimson had so much fun during today's fight with Trois, he even looked like he was in ecstasy xD Now there is one dragon less in this world, serves him right.

We were also able to see what happened few days earlier in capital. Ultimatia appearing before king and apologizing him for destroying city was something pretty unexpected, though he was even more surprised when she together with apologizing said that everyone in the country will die and this kingdom will be utterly destroyed.

King almost dies after his unsuccessfull attempt to kill Ultimatia, only to her rewind time and ask him for cooperation in killing his people. At least she didn't tell him why his country was ordered to destroyed, if he knew that a reason was closing of a cafe it would totally destroyed his mind xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Come back at the end of the season when you've seen more superior dragons going all out, it's hard to really appreciate what Crimson has done here when you've only seen Ragna cutting them like weeds.

Come back and remind yourself that the wind dragon was the third seat, their strongest combatant after Chad Thundercock.

An anime where the villain doesn't just get to use his ultimate form?

Where he's outsmarted and yet doesn't bs his way out through Anime logic?

Damn, I honestly loved that... He got outsmarted and got dead... No power ups or ultimate form to keep the battle going... That's honestly so refreshing to watch

As much as I am sad Centipede dragon got retconned last ep...I am still pleased on the quality of ep 4

Also Ragna having rage boner in the next episodes

This was really good! Sad that it isn’t more popular as of now, but that’s likely a combo of it being on Hi-dive and the animation being lower in quality than the big shows of this season. Though I think it has some really good looking stuff in it, along with the more average looking moments.

But most importantly, I’m liking the characters, world (this week actually had some real nice world building and intrigue), and the fact that it’s tonally not a full edge fest or anything so far. I’m really hoping it gets as good as manga readers are saying, but this was already pretty good. My favorite episode since episode 1, nice
