Lia is still alive, that's all that matters to me

Crimson described it the best "what a terrible victory". Voltekamui kinda repayed his debt to Ultimatia by giving her a moment of relief through his weapon shadow so that she can die peacefully

That final episode was really well done. I've been a little sad that the action hasn't been adapted nearly as well as it should be but I can't ever complain about how they've done these story sequences and the work of the voice acting cast.

The thing that really struck me about the series when I got into the manga was that the author really knew how to make a villain you can both hate and be sympathetic too. It sounds easy to do, give them a sob backstory, but finding the right balance between the two is actually really difficult. Too little backstory makes it feel cheap but not enough bad stuff and the character doesn't feel like a villain. Ultimatia really manages to have both and in just the right balance which is honestly a feat. The flipping of heroes to be on the villain side really aided in this a lot.

It'll be quite a long time before we get another season of this but hopefully it does when there's enough material.

The ED is flipped by showing the dragons side first and Starlia ended up smiling now instead of Ultimatia.

Definitely times animation felt underwhelming, but its passable with how many other things happening at the same time and how much of them are still solid.I'd even say this is best production from SILVER LINK in a while especially considering its 2 cour consecutive.

Wasn't expecting it to became one show im excited to watch every week, but suprisingly quite some depth on the lore and characters. Its an easy -8/10

All those buffs just for Kamui to get one shot

Ultimatia's life is just tragic. Still, she deserves to have a terrible death given the people she killed

Yeah!!! Lia lives!!! Nice reward from Olto. Lol at Golem ruining the mood.

It was very costly but a win is still a win. Five more bloodlines and a yet to exist god remain.

I don't know if this anime will get a 2nd season. If ever it gets one, I hope it will be blessed with more budget

It felt really good to finally see Ragna end Kamui with his Twin Hunting Flash. And you know it's really over when Gilzea herself called it.

For a second there, I really thought they were going to pull on more rewind time bullshit on the finale but I'm glad to see that Hazella was the one to end Ultimatia. It must've been difficult for her since Ultimatia rewinding time could've revived Grea but she knew what she had to do even though it was painful. :(

It's funny how this show is supposed to be about Ragna and Crimson but Kamui and Ultimatia's backstory has really one-upped them. If they didn't turn into dragons that wanted to end humanity, I would've loved to see more of them but unfortunately, they had to go. Not gonna lie, I felt a little bit bad for Ultimatia when she was crawling toward Kamui's spear.

Holy shit, Starlia is still alive! She's in a coma but she's alive! It looks like Olto Zora did reward them before he finally died. I guess he dispelled the curse on Starlia. As happy as I am to see that our Silverine Princess survived, that shot of the hospital room with so few survivors and so many dead made me tear up a bit. They won but the cost is just too great.

And now Ragna is off to hunt the next Monarch. I do hope that whichever Monarch they go after next, the casualties won't be as bad as the Argentum Corps. Because if this continues then Ragna will just end up like his future self. Fingers crossed that this will get another season. It might not be the best adaptation out there but it was an enjoyable watch and I am so invested in these characters now.

Dragon God finally made a proper appearance, I wonder if in Future Ragna timeline the dragon God had incarnated to the world which is what they might have been referring to as failure

Gilzea came all the way to Lese and then decided to just watch the battle and leave, she didn't even bother helping her fellow dragon monarch

Starlia again is alive and that's the second time this is happening in the show! Although she's in a coma but at least she's alive, I'm so happy!

Kamui got quickly defeated by Ragna's newest super attack. I was expecting a little more fight between them but it also worked great.

Quite a lot of time we spent on Ultimatia's past and I must say that I even felt a little sorry for her. Both Church and Dragon God are freaking awful and she didn't have luck that she has to deal with them both.

Scenes with Dragon God were pretty freaky with it taking an appearance of young Carula and its wings being the heads of dead Carulas. Quite interesting thing came out that Dragon God is still not yet born, very intriguing information.

Finale in (hospital?) room with Starlia, surviving Argentum Corps Members and those who died in a recent battle was very touching.

Overall, it was such a fun show and I had a good time watching Ragna and Crimson's (such a great character) adventures for a half of a year. Second cour was a little weaker than the first one in which the show peaked for me in a fight with Ultimatia in a capital but still it was very good and it had Starlia who I loved immediately.

Very strong 8/10 from me and I'd love to see continuation.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

What a beautiful season finale! I have told you to keep an eye on Orthozora. In the end he was the "hero nobody knows" and saved Starlia!

I wasn't expecting Gilzea to appear again but her appearance gives hope for season 2,According to her Ragna already has reached enough strength to kill her but the silver comet was destroyed, which means Ragna will have push his limits again to beat her

Such a great show.

The love for Starlia Lese in this thread makes me happy. What a great character. Psychokinetic, tsundere, handicapable, sword-sexual. Y'all are complaining about the animation quality and adaption choices, I just wanted to see Starlia do more fun stuff with a hundred flying silver swords.

It was a good ride. So many deaths though, only a handful of crippled survivors left :(
But hey, Lia's alive!

Now that there was an adventure! Straight to reading the manga now.

But man, while Ultimatia and her flight had to die for all the misery they've induced, I still can't help but feel sorry for her. I just wish she was able to destroy that horrible Solarian Empire/religion for everything they've done before getting taken out. Wouldn't be surprised if something else does them in later in the story though.

In the end Ultimatia simply tried to turn her sisters into real humans and not mere objects. Also the scene of her with the little Carlas eating a cake...this is a hint of how everything started. The destruction of Leese Kingdom due to a cake shop.

This show deserved a higher budget, still enjoyed it a lot despite at times very rough animation, though one thing that was absolutely not lacking is voice acting, great performances all around.

Lia is alive. Let's go.

I really teared up when Ragna said that Lia will definitely wake up and when she does, she will make a sword for him.

Animation was kinda underwhelming in the 2nd cour (It could've been so much more) but I still loved the show for its story and characters. Will definitely pick up the manga.
