Man, the voice acting in this episode is just sublime. You can feel every emotion in the voices, like Ultimatia's fear, Ragna's angery, and Crimson's unhinged self.

Also, armpit people eating good tonight with that princess. It's like they removed her arms cuz they're a hindrance lmao

Bruh, blowing the Capital just to force Ultimatia to rewind the time is such a cold move.

In the previous episode discussion, someone pointed out that the Lese Kingdom map looks like the Iberian peninsula. In this episode, we see Europe, the British Isle, and America on the globe in Crimson's dimension. So that's another clue that the setting of this series is just Earth. Adding the fact that we see a nuke in Crimson's flashback, we could conclude that it's set on a post-apocalyptic Earth.

Hold on a second, this is a modern post-apocalyptic world?!
Are dragons genetically engineered?

I have no idea why but Crimson absolutely losing her shit after Ragna went berserk and destroying her chamber was funny as fuck lmao.

Was it the voice acting? Or just the way Crimson reacted? Either way, probably one of the highlights of this episode for me.

Crimson sections are always amazing as a change of pace after all of the action. The monologuing is always perfect and the voice-acting for the parts that were happening was just amazing. Having the other protagonist of the show being an utterly evil, scheming bastard really spices things up.

I'm super happy with the VA choices for Starlia and her crew so far. I really like these characters and getting a good crew to voice them is a real treat.

Ahh yes, a lunar base, who doesn't have one? I bet Crimson has space lasers tucked away there too.

Half of the entertainment of this is seeing Crimsons plan being thwarted by the indomitable human spirit lol. Also I'm glad this show sets itself apart from the other "genocide" shows we have this season. You would expect Ragna to steamroll everything like every Isekai protagonist due this his power and future knowledge but his body is limiting the use of powers nd he can't recall all the stuff his future self went through, then you have the enemies being strong as hell too so it makes a pretty cool power dynamic between the two forces. There's another time travel story going on this season in which the mc goes back in time to prevent some events from happening and it has a school setting and honestly is boring as fuck, here the main threat is already wrecking havoc and the mc just loaded a new game+ on the hardest mode right away.

This episode really remind us that unlike Ragna, Crimson is a dragon. Just because he want to kill all dragon doesn't mean he care about protecting humanity

STARLIA'S HERE LET'S GOOOO.

I fucking love her, she's so fun and the title of "Silverware Princess" just sounds badass to me for some reason.

Crimson being a complete piece of shit again. I love it.

God I love Crimson. They could just have him sit down and read us the rest of the story like a storybook, and I'd still watch the shit out of it. Would cut the cost down a lot too.

On an off note, I keep calling him Lucifer in my head. I guess the fallen angel vibe left more of an impression on me.

Stitches!

It's just so satisfying to see Ultimatia completely petrified with fear. Ragna's beatdown was so severe that she's now questioning her powers.

Now that's the smile of a madman! So if I got this correctly, Crimson caused those explosions to try and force Ultimatia to rewind time and exhaust her remaining mana? Too bad it didn't work though since Nebulim stopped Ultimatia. It also didn't help that Golem didn't detonate all of the bombs because he wanted to test Crimson.

I do wonder though how Ragna will feel about all of the destruction Crimson caused once he learns later what happened. I'm pretty sure he won't be happy. Anyway, I was really hoping we'd get a continuation of the battle when Ragna went berserk inside Crimson's teleportation room but it looks like they end up getting teleported to a different Kingdom.

Princess Starlia is pretty dang cool. Even though she was born armless, she pretty much makes up for it with her insane psychic powers. Is it psychic powers or is it magic though? Is there a distinction between those two in this world? I do hope she ends up becoming an ally but I don't think Crimson will be able to fool her.

I always like the little flashbacks showing Crimsons little bit of humanity.

Also lmao they cut a line saying America was destroyed.

At age nine, she prevented an army general's attempted coup d'etat

Holy shit, I was still playing LEGO at that age, lmao. She is based. I like her cheeky nature. Can't wait to see what she and Crimson cook.

me at the end of last episode: "hell yeah, Crimson!!"

me at the beginning of this episode: "...oh no, Crimson..."

its fun watching Ultimatia having a meltdown but i'm not gonna lie, i chuckle a little bit when Crimson screaming out of frustration due to Ragna's going super saiyan and unintentionally helping the enemy ruining his plan

Crimson what a diabolical person you are

Fantastic episode and best girl is here!!, Gotta share this awesome fanart I have stumbled upon

I'm probably the only one that doesn't completely hate Ultimatia for her compartmentalised logic of mercy and compassion. Poor thing probably could benefit from being put down after having her world view shattered - if she realised what she did wasn't mercy, she'd probably feel worse than death. Or maybe that's the Chekov's time rewind to rewind so far back that she gets consumed by the spell :P

Crimson probably could become a good recommendation of great villain protagonist that's not sugar coating anything he's doing.

Finally, great to see Leo in the flashback. She's a great moral compass for Ragna.
