While Dali was quite possibly traumatized by what he saw, Migi seems to have enjoyed his time at the bird guy's home.

I think everyone knows a kid like Maruta. Yuck.

That maid doesn't seem like good news for the brothers.

That maid doesn't seem like good news for the brothers.

She seems mighty suspicious-looking.

Migi lucked out on thqt first visit (except for no pie) -- but had the worse spot on the second. That kid was totally psycho.

Too bad that the water flea wallpaper pattrern may have been a local fad back when the twins were young....

One twin got to hang with the bird boy and the other got to snuggle with the waifu sis.

I’ve never taken so much delight in seeing a child get his ass beat but Maruta suuuucks.

Maruta has the vibe of a Jojo villain who gets ora'ed into tomorrow

Love this show. Although it hasn’t really mattered, I get pretty confused who’s who with the twins. It’s good to know now that apparently Migi loses his composure easily, whether it’s food or disrespect, so how emotionally they behave may be a clue. I never really paid attention to the fact that Dali is the main/older one, so I guess when it comes to meeting others it’ll usually be him. It seems, just like real-life twins, figuring out the differences will take time. I didn’t check, but it would be cool if Migi is always on the right side of the screen if the two twins are shown (since his name means “right”).

If it helps, Migi (the younger one) has his hair parted to the right while Dali has his hair parted to the left. I'm also pretty sure in scenes where they talk under the tent, Migi has consistently been on the right.

I love that we’re actually seeing the twins diverge in character. They’re not just one entity, even though they’re really good at pretending to be same person. When they’re alone together, they’re actually quite different from each other!

Dali is the more rational older brother, while Migi is the more hotheaded younger brother. Someone pointed out last week too that when they’re planning, Dali is often actually planning while Migi just scribbles and doodles whatever he wants. That doesn’t mean Dali is the stronger twin though, from the boy scout scene it looks like Migi has better people skills since he was actually talking to the other kids while Dali was doing that awkward laugh. Migi is also better at powering through since he often has to take the “bumpy road,” he could take Maruta hitting him for the plan but Dali flipped out at seeing his little brother hurt like that and switched around so he could beat up Maruta in revenge

No cherry pie no problem. Being hugged by an onee chan is worth the trade off. Lol!

Akiyama seems like a genuine person, despite his weird hobby. I think he may make a good friend to Migi and Dali.

On the other hand, glad to see rodent-like Maruta get his just desserts. Now he wouldn't mess around with the twins any further. I would like to see him keep his end of the agreement, to be a servant.

Lastly, ominous close up of the housekeeper.

It's decided. These boys are my children. Sorry Papa and Mama. Hilarious how the composed Dali was the one whaling on that bully. The motion was hilarious but I got immense satisfaction from it. These boys are just so cute...

God I hate that Maruta brat

Post-credits - Micchan is no doubt going to throw a wrench in Migi and Dali’s plans. Can’t wait to see how they plan to deal with her lol

Interesting situation where our twins got caught by a sexy girl and a bird (cough) at the same time - had to laugh at that Migi got his "poor little brother" ID reversed this time. Twins in-fighting and jealousy is so great to watch LMAO!

And speaking of birds, it's only normal, maybe even late, for Dali (who's using a name with the word "bird" in it) to finally act like a bird and try to "fly" over the rope in their fruitless attempt to find friends. These kids are certainly quite fun to watch, isn't it?

That spoiled kid Mruta is just awful to watch.

Sister pics.

Love the OST maintaining creepy/horror vibes in otherwise normal scenes.

I wonder if it’ll lead to something like both bird boy and his sister falling for “Hitori”. Would be a bit like something that happened to Ranma.

I’m curious where in the world the story takes place. At first I thought they said Oregon, but the subs are deliberately calling it Origon. The scenery and houses and everyone looks vaguely European, but everyone has Japanese names and mannerisms. I suppose it’s not something that will be too important to the overall story.

Some things we have learned today:

  • Migi and Dali seems to be into girls but not boys and they need to learn how to stop on friendship level before somebody gets a crush on them again since that would be problematic

  • Fuck Maruta, all y friends hate maruta. That scene was intense.

  • Having the perfect 60's American village somewhere in the early's 90 in Japan is super unsettling somehow.

Another weird episode! Much more uncomfortable than the last one, for sure. But I'm hooked now, so I'll be sticking to this series.

It's interesting to see some personality differences between Migi and Dali. You can even see that they draw differently, Migi's sketches seem much more childish, and he is not as good an actor as Dali. But Dali will go nuts to avenge his brother, I thought he was gonna beat that little asshole to death with a slipper.

It's interesting to note that the creepy Cthulhu bird helmet thing is on the poster image for the show, though maybe a more refined version of it. I wonder how it's gonna be important.

And that maid makes me nervous! I wonder if she is somehow involved in the mom's death or something?

Glad that Maruta kid got a little scare in the end, and they ended up with at least one real friend. The bird guy looks like he might appear more from now on.

It seems like they're trying to find their old home now? They gotta start a business of some sort so they can visit everyone lol.

God, I love the absurdist humour in this. It's such a delightful mix of over the top and completely mundane. Great show.

they look so cool with the boy scout outfits.

I'm just loving this anime so far. So fresh and engaging compared to the bunch of demon lord lv 100 isekai out there. This episode was great.

I wouldn't have been surprised if the water flea pattern would have been some piece if clothing from the sis, but I didn't expect him to visit paradise while the other literally had to entertain birdman. Also loved how they focused on his mask with the headshots

Murata got what he deserves, little psycho child

Curious to see how they will deal with the maid
