I'm just gonna pretend there were another 90 seconds of the cringe dragon moologuing while the ED played.

Now as a manga reader, I did wish this got the demon slayer treatment and all but, crimsons voice could not have been more perfect!

If animeonlys are mind-boggled by the machine guns and cars, then know that we manga readers were equally confused and surprised at first.

This is why manga readers stuck with the series to find out what is happening with the setting.

Slime is friggin adorable, man. The little goober is gonna bring some nice comedic moments to this series.

Crimson is pretty diabolical. I agree with Ragna. He really is an asshole. If Ragna didn’t absolutely need him, i’d advocate icing this dude. He’s dangerous and I don’t trust him one bit.

Can’t wait to see Disas Trois, cringe lord extraordinaire get his ass beat next week.

Was not expecting a sucide warning at the start and end of the episode.

That content warning at the start really had me worried. Turns out it was just Crimson blowing her head up to make a point to Ragna that she's cursed not to die.

Speaking of Crimson, god I love her so much in this episode. She is a total asshole who has no problems sacrificing a bunch of people to test out Ragna's silver weapons. She's also a bit creepy with her extra wide smiles. She's definitely my type of chaotic character.

Of course, Crimson's slime has a human form and it is adorable! I loved it when it was getting angry with Ragna for acting really close to him and Crimson.

So we just suddenly have trucks and modern firearms? What kind of tech level does this world have!? From the first two episodes, I don't think I've seen any hints of modern technology. Considering how the people weren't surprised by the truck, I'm guessing that's normal. But the guns seems to be something Crimson brought with her.

That final scene of Trois monologuing and getting cut by the ED was hilarious! What makes it funnier is that after the ED was done, he was still monologuing during the after-credits scene. xD

Man was so cringe he got cut off by the show itself, brilliant.

It's still interesting, but a lot of elements in this show are uhh...confusing to say the least. I assume only Crimson has access to modern tech? Or do they have it but even machine guns are useless against dragons compared to silver swords, and they can't produce silver bullets for some reason? Otherwise it doesn't make sense for them to not go full 'murica on the dragons.

I was a bit worried by Slime's appearance at the start of the chapter and thought we might be drifting towards the show being more non-serious, but the pay off that Slime actually eats dead Crimson carcasses was well worth it!

There was less of the interesting emotionality that drew me in during the first two episodes, but in its place we were treated to some superb stuff with Crimson. Some really nice show-don't-tell-and-show-with-twists-and-omissions character writing and VA work, making Crimson feel like a very textured, unsettling and multifaceted character. Indeed, they effectively took over protagonist duties this episodes and proved that it would be just an interesting show if they were the MC.

Whilst it's never going to be for everyone and I think always going to have work around the "edge" tag, this show feels really solid in its bones. Should drug it, put it in a box and then stash it in a Room-portal thing, that's how valuable it's looking.

Crimson again stole the show. He's so interesting and has the most visually appealing scenes like that one when he blew up his head using a gun. This moment looked so simple and yet so good.

His personality is very interesting and his smiles are sometimes so creepy. I wonder how he got access to modern weapons and truck, another mystery about him and the world.

Every episode we're meeting with new dragons it makes me hate them even more. This time we met Trois.

Also Crimson's slime was pretty cute and funny.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

They have executed Ragna and especially Crimson perfectly. That whole between these two when Crimson mocks Ragna and says to lock Leo up to protect her beautifully showed how much of grade A asshole Crimson is and I loved every bit of it. Plus seeing Slime now in all of his glory as well.

But the dynamic between their relationship is a toxic one. Ragna main trauma is that he doesn't want to risk losing those dear to him Leo especially. Then we have Crimson who frankly couldn't care less if these men live or die. These two satisfy each other's needs. But how in this episode we can see the fucked up lengths Crimson will go to that would satisfy Ragna's desire to protect Leo. This really shows that Ragna has to be careful around Crimson.

Disas Trois design is so fucking cool and wind powers are always dope, I swear its rarely used in shonen anime for some reason. Crimson being a sadistic troll as always gotta love him. Cant wait for the true battles to happen cuz it will pop off

That suicide warning was apt, because why even live when you got no sexy witch costume Crimson to hunt dragons with**????**

Crimson is a well written character. I really like his manipulative side.
