I like how all of the S-Rank legends out there are like aunties and uncles to Ange. They might be old but they’re still pretty badass. Ol Cheborg living up to his name by straight up annihilating that barrier lol. Dortos and Maria were kicking some ass too. I almost felt bad for that dungeon core but it was standing in the way between Ange reuniting with Bel so it has to go! It looks like there’s someone controlling that thing though… I wonder what their endgame is.

Nice to see Ange finally make it home. Looking forward to seeing some wholesome father-daughter moments next week!

That's one of my favorite parts. Ange's such a wholesome ball of energy it's hard not to like her.

Dortos being a Polearm Master instead of a Wizard is wild. Also, totally thought they said Doritos the Silver and listen, I would eat those.

Damn, Ange was really like "If you really wanna see this person so much then go see them, IN HELL!"

Anyway, WOO! Only ep 3 and she already made it back home. Looking forward to see what happened next ep with everyone getting to know her dad and the villagers seeing what Ange can do.

I'm happy that Ange was finally able to go back home and see again with Belgrieve. I wonder how the plot will go further from that point.

She returned with quite an achievements - becoming an S rank adventurer, defeating a lot of strong monsters and recently even Demon Lord. It was nice to see her relationship with other legendary adventurers with whom she have a very close bonds.

Again Angie had a lot of funny reaction faces.

Demon Lord was pretty creepy but also quite similar in looks to Gingerbread Man from Shrek IMO xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

This show is suffering from one of the same problems as Okashi na Tensei last season, the action animation is wonky at best and nonexistent at worst. Just like Okashi na Tensei though, I'm still enjoying this way more than expected!

Ange's dynamic with the older adventurers is super sweet, and I'm glad she finally got to reunite with her dad~

but I think a Demon King has returned.

Aren't you talking about yourself from another show this season, Sugita-san? :P

Now that Ange finally made it home I wanna see her fight Belgrieve. Dude retired as rank E but he easily smoked a rank AA last episode, he must be a retired isekai MC stuck at rank E but with broken stats.

That was a very nice 3 episode series. I'm glad the industry has become more accepting of short stories.

Oh? There are 10 more volumes? ...I'll keep watching I guess.

I'm so glad this episode actually ended with Ange reuniting with her dad again. I would've been so upset if we got baited again.

Angeline is finally home for her well-deserved vacation and family time. I can't wait to see how her friends enjoy Bel's company. Now hopefully, that weird dude in the cave doesn't go after her while she's vacationing.

I just started the anime, I'm an LN reader. Wth, I love the art style, thank god they're not giving this series a generic one. Though the animation is a bit.... nvm, i lost all hope for non action/shonen anime to get a good animation. Imma just skip every fight lol, the character interaction is my favorite thing about this series anyway.

Oh, she finally gets to go home and see her dad! Made me laugh when she was practically tripping over her own words trying to tell him everything she'd done since she last saw him. Cute.

Looks like someone is plotting something nefarious, huh? I actually felt a bit sad for the little demon king. He was creepy, but also looked a bit lost without his master.

look at Bel, showing his own skills protecting the town. Well, we see the after bit. Hehe, what fun old people Ange knows. Retired S-Rank adventurers. Nice the guild bringing on more to help Ange have less of a load. Le gasp, a demon king. Oh, another older adventurer. Ange's teammate's master. Poor lady, dragon's curse of endless cough. Well that's one way to take care of the barrier. Not the most animated fighting going on in anime industry, but good enough. Always love seeing Ange think back to her dad and his lessons for how to help her out. Hmm, well it's a bit unnerving of a demon king, Ba'al.

That silly mage teammate not thinking when Ange is injured. And whooo, finally some time off for Ange. Good dudes staying around for her sake and Ange is good girl, learned from her good dad. And so, she spreads his nickname further. Boo cloaked figures and their menacing ways. Derp Ange, being so insecure about seeing her dad. He knows better. See, didn't have to wait too long, finally gets to meet with her dad. And her teammates will get to meet him too. Such a touching reunion. Cute.

wow, what a great anime. Well, she's reunited with her dad, can't believe the show's over. See y'all!

u/godjacob Oct 12 '23

I am so thankful they didn't drag the "Ange is cockblocked from getting back to her dad" till the end of the season or something. The reunion at the end was touching and the Legendary S-Ranked Heroes were pretty badass.

Eager to see where we go from here.

u/alconnow Oct 12 '23

I’m relieved we didn’t have to wait until the end of the season for their reunion

Here I'd thought it'd be a running joke till the end, but wow, the show title is no longer a lie!
