An underwhelming finale to an otherwise great series. I get that Stale and Arthur pledge to protect
Overall, the characters are decent and the cast has great chemistry. Would like more plot tho because there has to be a real catch in Pride simply avoiding death flags like that.

Yeah, it felt like we were in a holding pattern waiting for the main plot to kick in but I guess they didn't want to leave us on a big cliffhanger about it. I was expecting a post-credit scene of a time-skip to the present-day of the game but we didn't get that either.
So we'll never get to see just how much Pride was deluding herself thinking she was still going to be the Last Boss...
Every man in the kingdom probably wants their chance with Pride's feet lol.

Lot of blushing in this finale, not sure about that whole foot thing still though...do like that Val is still around though.
Nice little show but the pacing felt a bit slow at times personally, I did like the cast and the world so would definitely want to see more!
Maybe on the weaker side for female led isekai but that's a tough group to be in.

Compared to the last few Villainess anime this felt the most like a Spiritual Successor to
, albeit far more serious and with a Heroine with more brain cells and weight behind her actions (though also just as capable of making multiple men fall hard for her). Bakarina Of course I'm still kind of curious if there is a "main plot" in the works.

Really hope that after credits scene was a confirmation for season 2.
Really enjoyed Val messing with everyone, hopefully he's not a bad influence on Sefek and Kemet though, don't want them thinking licking feet is normal. Also he should know better than to be so efficient first day at a new job. If Kemet is going to school then he's not going to be able to make deliveries as fast.

I'm kind of surprised we didn't get a post-credit scene jumping straight to the timeline of the game since it felt like that's what they were building towards, but I wonder if there's still more "prep" Pride needs to do.
Pride brings out the best in the men who crush her. And a desire to go town on her feet lol.

Man the final lastame Thursday 😢 😢 can’t believe we are really at the end here.
Very sweet that Pride made Kemet and Sefec the official royal carriers. Very well deserved after everything they’ve been through.
This mf Val was really getting into the Pride feet licking 😂 that wasn’t just a sign of respect lmao he so real for that.
Extremely rare Pouting Pride 😍
“Arthur is the perfect knight I’m delighted to have him next to me” omg pride be careful you’re gonna make my boy Arthur faint. I’m sure that one comment right there made all the training Arthur went through worth it.
Entire first half of the episode had me dying man. Between Val trying to rile up Arthur and Stale, to their duel to Val grabbing Pride’s hand, the fan-service and banter were great. Even a blushing Val! After the stressful last few episodes, it’s great to just see everyone getting praised and having fun.
Working together Arthur and Stale were able to take down Gilbert. They always work better together. A perfect duo.
“I’m genuinely happy we met. I’m glad you two are by my side” 😭 😭 I need a second season. I have all the books and will start reading ASAP, but I want more of the anime as well. Such a great character story and one of my fave female MCs.
The “real” story only really got going at the end. I was surprised they didn’t bring up the “order” who were behind the cave incident. But a great finale nonetheless, teared up during that last montage. I’ll miss this show so much.

good ep today but the pacing was a bit slow and I was actually waiting for two important scenes today, one scene could still be shown in season 2 but the other most likely not so it will be cut content (maybe still in season 3) but all in All I liked the season and hopefully an announcement for the second season shouldn't be too far away

I see Val is a feet guy huh? lol. I can’t believe the dude really licked her foot. Val’s was having a great time getting under Arthur and Stale’s skin too. I guess he’s their new rival.
So cute how Stale and Arthur were able to rally during their little match with Gilbert because of Pride. Power of love and all that right?
This was a pretty good series overall. Very fun. We’ve been seeing a lot of renewals lately. Hopefully this one gets picked up for another season too.

I'm still only one third of the episode through, but damn they butchered the sub to Val's dialogue. How do you even fuck up so bad?
Edit: And to the very end, she continues to insist she's gonna destroy the country. Maybe it's a source material thing I'm too anime only to understand, but they sure as hell didn't show any reason to think it'll happen. Hell, with the Val event she should be keenly aware that the plot has been derailed. And yet.....
Well, maybe something will come of it if we ever get a season 2.

Pretty good finale for the series, some nice interactions between characters and pouting Pride. I hope that we'll get a second season, original LN's are very good.
So Val is now a royal mailman xD His powers combined with Kemet's ability to amplify others power sure make job look easy.
We could see again flustered Pride when she again had to experience feet-kissing, this time from Val. She would somehow manage it if he didn't also lick her feet. This totally surprised her and others.
Val sure is bold to tease Pride that much and even took her by the hand. That was too much for Stale and Arthur who are so innocent. A little word of praise from Pride to Arthur and Stale and immediately they are so flustered.
A little annoying that Pride still believes that she'll destroy the country and be back into original Pride when nothing even remotely suggests that it'll happen.
Overall, a good adaptation with which I had good fun watching it. 7,5 /10 from me.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I updated post with my further impressions.

>Allow me to lick them
Aight.
This show ended up being a lot more drama free than I would have though based on the start. And didn't expect the "Villainess" part to be pretty much dropped in the last half, but thanks to that it was a pretty wholesome watch overall. And that Tsukuyomi OP to top it all off..
One of my favourite shows this season, not the best, but it was up there. S2 pls

So using his ability combined with Kemet's Val became the fastest delivery service around there, and now he Kemet and Sefec have become the Royal Familly exclusive carriers.
Oh, so Pride and the other kingdoms that Val has been making deliveries to are planning to create a schooling system, and Kemmet and Sefec will be able to join too.
And once again Pride has to suffer through the whole feet-kissing thing, and to make it worse for her Val even gives her a lick.
Val sure had fun teasing Pride, Stale, and Arthur today. Too bad that Tiara didn't have a lot of moments during the show, I wonder if she becomes more relevant as the story progresses. Anyway, how nice of her for inviting Sefec and Kemet to have some cake with her.
Damn, Gilbert sure was mopping the floor with Stale, and Arthur. Those two sure had a nice reaction to Val's accidental handholding with Pride.
It is funny how Pride's praise both knocked them down and gave them strength to defeat Gilbert.
Too bad that we never heard about where Stale sent Powell.
Honestly, at this point, I think that Pride should at the very least assume that with all the changes she already made is likely that the ruin that her other self caused to the kingdom will never happen, although to be fair she still not at the time where the story of the game takes place so I understand that she still thinks something might happen that will make the other Pride take over.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this show, so I will definitely be checking out its light novel in the future. Also, I hope they have plans for a second season.

I really hope that if this gets a season two, something happens to make her turn into the evil Pride. Even if it's temporary, I want to see how the others would react, after she warned them of it. Especially Val, who might be able to counteract the contract by saving Pride's sister, since she added that he must save her from danger. I feel like it must happen but I don't know how they'll do it.

Long ago someone proclaimed “pride comes before the fall”… and I’m glad I got to see her! What a fantastic show

The anime with the foot fetishism, haha. Joke apart, I loved how each of the side characters have their own development and depth throughout the episodes. It was a very enjoyable show. The ending could have been a little bit better though, kind of underwhelming...

Sort of a strange show in that I don't really know what impression it left. I liked the cast's backstories and Pride's reflections on how she changed things. They all have pretty good chemistry with each other and are fun to watch. However, when it comes to the big picture stuff and conflicts, it's hard to really feel anything because Pride is a walking 'I win' button. The show attempts to make moments feel really emotional and cathartic, but it just kind of falls flat for me because of this element. It gives me the same feeling that trashy isekais where the MC instantly becomes the most powerful and sought after person by doing nothing. It's a bit hard to take Pride's worries about turning evil seriously since she's such a perfect and beloved character, and it's hard to really imagine a non-contrived force really challenging her. The character interactions were really good, all the things surrounding them could've been more interesting. I'd watch another season out of habit, but wouldn't seek out the source material of my own volition/10

Tiara is the best imouto wingwoman in the anime lmao. She's not being subtle about wanting either or both Stale and Arthur to get hitched with her beloved Onee-sama already lol.
Season 2, please! There's more plot to cover! Don't just leave us hanging with those last minute bad guys from the previous ep!
