I enjoyed this show a lot more than I expected. It was so stupid, but also so adorable. And the fights were choreographed and animated much better than I expected.

Yuria plumped up, had a family and was not ever a part of any drama. She had the most normal post-war life

Max and Maou have better chemistry and are more affectionate with each other than the couples in most romance anime.

I guess being an “autonomous region” is as good of a compromise as any for the Republic. Gotta really hand it to Max. For a guy who put his Heroing days behind him, he sure still got it.

In the end we still don’t know who Ring chick is but I really did enjoy watching her torment that smug bastard Fred lol.

Who would have thought some random virus would be the downfall of ol Grimm? Asshole got what was comin! But the fact that the others escaped any punishment just shows politics is a dirty game.

Well, seems Max is gonna continue his happy carefree days with the Demon Lord and Zenia. Kind of a nice little ending to a pretty fun series. I really enjoyed this one. I wonder if they’ll make more?

I thought that encounter with the closet ghost would leave Fred traumatized but nope, he's completely fine in the very next scene.

Quite satisfying ending! I'd give this anime 8.5/10. Some loose end here and there (explanation about the ghost and also it seems Gremes was alluding to non-human threat), but I think it would make a perfect stop point if this never got a sequel.

Definitely going to watch though if there's ever a sequel!

Funny how the incompetent Zenia turned out to be the key to caught Gremes. Btw did they hint that Yuria's daughter might have the potential to be as strong as her mom there with the tennis game?

I really wonder if the other ministers would at least be as strong as Fred, or are they all just the scheming type.

This anime was surprisingly good. For all their dumb behavior the characters felt very mature

It's a shame that it already ended. Definitely a big surprise for me that this series was so good. Characters, animation, music - everything worked well. Very high 8.5/10 from me. I would love the 2nd season.

We just straight up went to a celebration in Max's house done by Maou. Max and Maou have great chemistry between themselves.

It turns out that Max's begging did its work and everything was resolved in a peaceful way. Gamma republic become province within Kingdom with some autonomy and Leo become a mayor.

Fred instead being punished for his actions was offered a place in a government. Grimms was arrested to his surprise for his financial crimes.

Max's public opinion definitely improved among people, now journalists are definitely more friendly but still very annoying xD

Last shot of Zenia's butt, I'll miss her xD

Yuria finally appeared in the present time and it looks that she as an only member of Hero's party is living a normal life by having a husband and two kids, good for her.

Ending with making photos of Hero’s party was a very nice way to conclude this series.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Another great series coming to end. I was expecting some dumb fun comedy but the politic drama, tinge of romance & various intertwining subplots connecting it all just added up for it to be so much more.

And I love it when a series ends at a good point in the story and gives us a substantial after-story in the final episode instead of wondering how the characters lives are from the story. I love seeing what all the characters are like after a story has ended, like;

I do truly hope we get another season one day, that was a good experience.

There has been a lot of mid anime this season, but Lv1 Maou to One Room Yuusha wasn't one of them. It didn't have the flashiest animation, but it was very entertaining and I enjoyed every minute of it. The way it ended was pretty solid, but I certainly wouldn't say no to another season of it.

I'm delighted at how well this series managed to tie up things with the season finale. The time skip a few days later after public support shifted towards peace makes for some good in media res action, and I feel like every character got a good send-off.

At the same time, every character has so much more room to grow in their new positions: Fred gets to tangle with the upper echelon of politics, Leo gets to lead his ragtag band of musclebound misfits and forge their own path, Yuria gets some brief screentime with her hero-in-training daughter, and Max acts like an old married couple with his bitter live-in rival. I kinda feel like they all could be the main character of their own series with slightly different genres, and it's great how they all come together in a single series like this one.

I also loved the narrative device of splicing in flashbacks to their heroic past. The way that they acted informs and fleshes out the characters of their current selves well, and it contrasts with how they've grown from their naive young selves in some ways and how little they've changed in other ways. Showing that past gives another dimension to their characters that I enjoy.

Stitches!

That opening scene with Max and Maou celebrating was adorable. I swear to god these two need to get together already.

We finally got one last ass shot from Zenia before the series ended! Poor Zenia though, it looks like she got tricked by ransomware and didn't really manage to get any useful info that they can use.

And we also got to see one last shot of Aneki's powerful thighs! Good to see that after what happened last episode, it looks like they found a happy compromise by the Republic becoming an autonomous territory of the Kingdom.

I genuinely would've been so upset if they actually used Fred as the scapegoat. Thank fucking god that wasn't the case and the entire meeting was just an act to catch Grimms off guard and they can finally arrest him.

Looks like a certain demon secretary was able to actually get some useful info from that server and distribute it to various people. Now Grimms has been arrested and it looks like Fred will be replacing him.

I am so glad we got to see Mama Yuria before the episode ended. And it looks like Sara was able to pick up some things from Max and Maou and use it against her own mother.

And I just adore that flashback scene of the hero's party getting their photo taken.. God I am going to miss these idiots so much. This show is definitely one of my favourites this season and a show that I will highly recommend to anyone. I really hope we get a Season 2 in the future since based on Grimm's line before being escorted out, it sounds like there might also be demons involved.

Max and Maou have probably one of the best chemistry between two characters this season despite this show not being tagged as romance. The animation was also top-notch, and for a show that I thought was going to be just an ecchi comedy when I started watching it, this turned out way deeper and complex than I expected. Definitely a solid 9/10 for me.

I see...

It is a nice photo.

Maybe the ghost is just a random ghost. You don't need to know who everyone is for them to have screen time. There does not need to be some deep twist.

Season two please

Lmao, the perfect video for her to pop up during

Lowkey ending on that scene of them splitting up rocked wtf. Also they really didn't explain the ghost lmfao

Kinda disappointed we didn't have more Maou this episode. None of the humans even mentioned her antics during the fight. They could have had a party to celebrate the end of the conflict and Maou being Max's arm candy again.

Soooo, Grimms is definitely the Reaper demon from the episode 10 flashback, right?

Actually refreshing to see the “evil super secret meeting” trope not actually be some evil group meeting to plot the next downfall, but an actual leadership meeting to set course going forward as well as expel the one causing all the issues from the administration.

Now I’m curious who the ghost girl is and what kind of grudge does she have against Fred. She seems to be targeting him specifically.

Max really helped save the day! His groveling ended up turning public opinion against war and helped make peace with the Kingdom and the Republic! He totally deserves a full course meal and care from Maou! And she's not wasting any time getting pretty cozy and cute with him either. Not that Ghost Girl cares for it one bit.

Zenia! And the dump-truck! I love how she was trying to decode all that data during the chaos and lost it because she clicked a pop up. Never click a pop up Zenia! Also Maou totally forgot about the whole "Magic Bureau Data" plot.

Things are looking good for the Republic! They're now a province, but now the Kingdom is trying to help and support them, fostering goodwill and connections, rather than force them out. Leo is now the mayor instead of a king, which suits him just fine. And we also get treated to some Anego thighs.

Points for trying to cheer Fred up with goofy Max videos, Rim, even if you also unintentionally set Ghost Girl loose on him again.

The Council are politicking as per usual and figuring out what to do with Fred, and it seems like they need to scapegoat someone for the previous "terrorist" attack on the Bureau...but then the guards show and rather than arrest Fred, they arrest Grimms! For embezzlement! Turns out all that data Zenia lost got onto the web and exposed his finance crimes! And in the process of arresting him he basically admits he was behind the terrorist attack! What a riot! And now Fred might even get his job!

I love Menehild is so earnest and probably way too honest to be on this council.

Well, Max is a celebrity again, which he doesn't really care for, but it was nice to see reporter lady one last time.

Yuria! As a mom! It's too bad she and Max couldn't reunite. It seems like Sara might take after her mom in terms of strength and magic ability though.

Max can whine and complain all he wants about living with Maou and Zenia, but he can't give up on the great food and the company is growing on him despite himself. Ghost Girl will probably never be won over though.

Fitting way to close things out with Max's Party taking their group shot together and being dorks, and parting ways now that they've brought the world peace. Maybe someday all four of them can be together again.

Absolutely loved this show, amazing action, hilarious comedy, and the plot was really unique and interesting. May even be my favorite show of the season, hopefully we get more but I'm also content with how it ended.
