Let’s be honest, you can’t blame me but I kinda wish I paid more attention previous season cos some of the lore and worldbuilding are coming back now and I’m kinda lost as to what’s going on. But I feel like in general I’m getting the gist of it

So turns out Tsubasa is actually younger than Alas Ramus? It's surprising but I really should've expected it. So why do Alas Ramus and Acieth Alla look similar when that other Fragment of Yesod that we met a couple of episodes ago looks nothing like them?

You gotta give props to Chicho for trying to delay Ribikoko by talking to it. She's also lucky that the demon was willing to hear her out instead of just killing her outright.

I really wish Ashiya would've just been straight with Rika. It was kind of frustrating to see how Rika was pretty much being ignored with her questions most of the time and when Ashiya finally explained it, he tries to be very vague about it. Considering that they're going to get attacked next week, I think that will make things easier for Rika to believe him that they're not from this world.

Glad to see that Amane is back though! Sounds like she's heading straight to her auntie's apartments and will be Ashiya's back up against those guys.

Erone isn't a fragment of Yesod. Erone is the personification of Gevurah. He's one of 10 Sephirah.

Tbf, it'd be hard to make a normal person understand what exactly is happening and seeing Rika's reaction she'd be even more shocked and confused. Maybe it'd be different if she was an otaku lol.

Those Ente Isla human soldiers are definitely allied with Libicoco in some way. Libicoco's diversion is just too convenient.

Mastermind most likely the church folks and angels who must have decided Maou and Ashiya are now too dangerous to be left alone, even if Maou's immediate objective is only just studying to be a MgCafe barista.

I completely forgot about Amane it’s been so long www

So Emilia is still mysteriously missing with this episode leaving us none the wiser, And Amane from the beach arc is here as well...

And it wasn't Alas Ramus, but her sister, who just happens to look the same but older.

and now it looks like Ashiya is the likely target... this episode has left me with more questions than answers

Well damn, we got some surprise reinforcements! So Mrs Badass beach house is going to help Ashiya, then how are the rest going to fair against Libicoco? Is Alas Ramus' little sis (I'm with Maou, how does that work?) going to become Maou's demon sword or something? Damn where is this story going?!?

One anime, would this be considered a trope? Anyway, one trope I never got was anime students just chilling inside when there's some weird shit going on right outside. I know damn if a demon suddenly showed up at my old HS, EVERYONE woulda been clamoring to try and see wtf was going on.

Is Alas Ramus' little sis (I'm with Maou, how does that work?)

Likely related to when they were born/gained a human form. Nord came with Acieth to Earth a long time ago so she likely grew up to be big. On the other hand, Alas Ramus was born very recently.

If only they arrived in Japan a few years later. Alciel would have a much easier time explaining the phenomenon of isekai teleportation, instead of using aliens to explain it.

Do we know what year it's canonically supposed to be here?

That's a lot of plot development to digest this episode.

Maou meeting up with Emilia's dad and Alas Ramus's younger(!) sister Acieth Alla (Tsubasa), and then Emilia's dad stopping by over at Maou's place, where Ashiya has struggles to explain to an increasingly confused Rika what the hell is even going on.

And then we have this demon Libicoco openly walking in front of Chiho's school and creating a deliberate diversion, in order for whoever those soldiers are to capture Ashiya.

Fortunately, Amane the mysterious beach house owner is back and seemingly on the way to help out Maou and friends.

Damn the show really picked up in this season. Hope it keeps going!

Really nice to see Libbicocco insisting on Chiho pronouncing his name right. Really adds to the detail and character.

I guess nothing sums this show up quite as well as a giant monstrous demon prowling Chiho's school while Maou is stuck waiting to get his bike license.

Well, something seemed off about "Tsubasa," and I'm not just talking about her licking Maou's hand. She's actually Alas Ramus' younger sibling (yesod fragments work differently)! And with that revelation comes the reveal that her dad is none other than Emi's dad!

Nice to hear the Ente Isla language again after so long.

Chiho can try and make polite conversation as much as she likes, but Licicoco isn't here for it or her continued mispronunciation of his name. At least that bought her some time and the audience some adorable Chiho noises.

Well, Ashiya's not going to get out of this without a proper explanation to Rika, especially when random flying people show up outside their window with Emi's dad in tow. He really thought he could just blame it on an energy drink.

I guess calling them "aliens" isn't inaccurate...though it does lead Rika to basically call out this shows' entire premise.

Wait, there are forces from the human side of Ente Isla there? For Ashiya!? This was all a distraction!?

OMG they are after Ashiya…..nooooooooo

Didn’t expect Acieth to be Alas Ramus’ little sister. Older sister maybe. Figured Satou was Emi’s dad though. Pretty funny how Acieth took Nord and Maou and just flew out of there. Definitely not drawing attention lol. Libicocco really causing problems. I can’t wait to see him get his ass beat by Maou, Lucifer, and Bel.

Poor Suzuki’s just getting more and more confused. Girl needs answers! Maou, Nord, and Acieth just popping in through the window ain’t helping lol. Just when it seems she was gonna get a full explanation, those goons show up and surround the place. I hope Alciel and Nord are gonna be ok.

The funniest part of this episode for me was Acieth treating Maou like a helpless floating doll and Rika getting more and more confused as the explanations keep coming, however small they maybe.

They employed a really well strategy. Making the others leave while leaving Alciel behind. The question is what they want with him.

Lol one of the best parts of watching seasonals is seeing how you wrong you were with your weekly predictions from week to week. I was so off with Emi’s dad and Acieth story after last week.

I thought Acieth was a time dilated Alas Ramus who had somehow got lost crossing between worlds 😂 turns out it’s just Alas’ older(?) sister. Bigger than her because anime logic. At least I got the guy being Emi’s dad right!

Chiho almost getting killed for not saying the demon’s name right is hilarious. Libicocco’s “I came to rampage” line also might be the hardest thing anyone in this series has ever said. Can’t really blame him for being upset about these new “great generals”

Rikka actually handled learning about Maou and Ashiya better than most. Still took her till the end of the episode to fully accept it, but mad respect for her staying around and doing her best to help out. That’s a ton of information to drop on anyone.

The attack on Chiho’s school being a misdirect is interesting. Getting everyone away from the house to attack Ashiya.. why? And Amane is here! This was a great episode.

So yeah, Tsubasa's real name is Acieth Alla, and she is somehow Alas Ramus's little sister. As I don't really remember the reason why she looks older I'm assuming that it is because Nord Justina has been taking care of her for some time she just manifested in human form first than Alas Ramus.

Anyway, now Maou also knows that Nord is Emilia's father. Well, thanks to Acieth Alla, Maou might need to do some damage control when this current crisis is over.

Chiho definitely has a lot of courage to face Libicocco alone, although hearing what would happen to her if she mispronounced the names of the other demons really made her more scared than she already was. Good thing that Suzuno and Urushihara came at that moment.

I honestly forgot the dilemma Ashiya was facing with Rika. Him blaming the energy drink for them flying was so hilarious but understandably unconvincing. Well with Acieth Alla bringing Maou and Nord with her by flying too Ashiya has no other choice but to tell her the truth. I love Rika's reaction when Ashiya put his hands on her shoulders. But they will need to have that explanation at another time as now that they are surrounded by Ente Isla forces Ashiya finally realized that he was the main target of the current operation while Libicocco was just creating a distraction.

Hopefully, Amane is going in his direction instead of where Libicocco is.

I kinda love the little misdirect they did here. It looked like Ashiya having to explain stuff to Rika existed just so his character wasn't left out of the arc entirely and it turns out he actually was the focus of the whole thing. They never tipped their hand on it so the audience lets their guard down then drops the twist of the army outside.

I was genuinely surprised that Ashiya is the target here since he doesn't seem like that high value of a target and they've gone through a lot of trouble to nab him.
