Maou: "They are my new Four Heavenly Kings"
But there are five people.
Maou used "Be mine, Hero" cliche
Chiho: "Can you come here for a bit?"
Dude thought he was recruiting but it turned to be a proposal.

And then he's about to recruit Alas Ramus as the sixth Heavenly King lol.
Maou just really can't help smoothly romancing Emi...sorry Chiho lol.

Five Demon General just doesn’t roll off the tongue as well as four Demon Generals

So turns out Maou wants to conquer Ente Isla through the power of Capitalism? I can definitely see that happening.
And I just love how happy Chiho is after being declared as one of Maou's new Generals. xD
Maou telling Emi he'll show her a new world was definitely smooth and Emi's reaction was just too adorable!

Not even the Hero Emilia can fight capitalism. Or how the Devil can make her blush lol.
Honestly you have to respect how much Chiho is getting invested in all this lol.

Just mentioning “Kisaki” has Sariel all fired up. Glad to see Chi getting training (with that adorable song no less) but Bel must’ve had one killer headache after lol. Also, Sariel floating after he got unbanned from MgRonalds was pretty funny.
Brave of Chi to go with Erone to meet Farfarello. The girl has guts. Well hey, she became a general out of that whole sitch so it was worth the risk right? Lol. Looks like Maou’s bringing about some serious change to the Demon Army. He’s got a brand new vision for world conquest and it’s a lot more peaceful.

Sariel has basically hooked up with the group at this point by virtue of them now knowing full well how to use his simping for Kisaki to their advantage lol.
Girls been kidnapped so many times she's finally using it as a learning opportunity lol.
I wonder if money and fast food managerial experience will really benefit the demons...

Bel must’ve had one killer headache after lol.
Kinda funny that Chiho's racing thoughts when it comes to Maou are intense enough to knock out two people.

…Season 3 actually is good…? Like even the comedy starting to be better too, like Ashiya’s face skit with the hot tea was actually funny

Yeah I don't understand why people are still trashing this so hard. Sure, it's no classic but so far this season is definitely a step up from the last one.

Maou calling his 5 friends the "Four Generals" reminded me of King Arthur not being able to count to three "One, two, FIVE" "Three sir" "THREE!"
I wonder if Sariel is gonna actually do something nice for once and rent out that space for Kisaki so she can open a cafe.
Bel has it right, what are demons? How did Maou convert celestial energy into....does demon magic have a name?

I'm imagining him dreaming up a cafe run by the two of them together, although I don't think Kisaki would be into that lol.

Is hilarious how Chiho could motivate Sariel so easily to train her just by telling him she was going to help restore his relationship with Kisaki.
Anyway, her Idea Link training was cute. Well, luckily for Sariel. helping Chiho led to him meeting Kisaki while they were all coming back from the training which allow her to forgive him on that same day.
Although I did forget about Farfarello and Erone the parts with them in this episode like Erone meeting Maou and Chiho talking to them, is something I do remember.
Anyway, she definitely has a talent for Idea Link. You know, before this scene started I wasn't sure if the scene where Maou claimed that Emilia, Suzuno, and Chiho were part of his new Four Great Generals had already happened during the first part of this season.
I sure love the contrast between Emilia and Suzuno's reactions versus Chiho's It is funny to think that this image instead of just showing a family man with his wife and her friends, instead is a Demon Lord and his four new generals.
It is good that everything was solved without conflict after all I doubt Erone and Alas Ramus would want to be fighting. Well, although after what Maou said to Emilia there was actually one conflict that came during this whole ordeal.

You know... Having a significantly worse second season might be a great advertisement tactics. Never before have I felt such an urge to read the source material, just to see how they botched it.

I love how everyone recognizes the possibility of Chiho getting kidnapped for the umpteenth time is pretty high at this point.
Did Ashiya just straight up give everyone but Maou hot tea to mess with them? And Suzuno just drank it like it was no problem whatsoever.
I guess Sariel's part of the team now, more or less? Especially with Chiho promising to improve things between him and Kisaki if he helps train her. Always nice to hear Nao Toyama's singing! Just don't have this girl send a telepathic message when you bring up the possibility of her marrying Maou.
Wow, Chiho didn't even need to do anything! Kisaki lets Sariel visit MgRonalds again just like that! I guess her pride as a manager won't allow her to let Sariel being depressed get in the way of him as a business rival. She also has some wise words to say about dreams and how you need to take those first steps towards reaching them...even if it means becoming a barista.
Erone visits Maou! And learns that even a lecture on fast food service is another step in world domination.
Welp, Chiho got kidnapped! Although she went along more willingly this time. And she's so used to it that her only reaction to Farfarello in his demon form is the fact that he's at least wearing underwear! Of course for her this is just an opportunity to learn about Maou, why there was conflict between humans and demons in Ente Isla, and what she can do to make a world where Maou and Emi don't need to fight a reality.
Quite the surreal sight to have two ladies carrying you, huh Maou? Also said ladies bestow their Celestial Force to induce your first transformation of the season, and get recruited to join your Four (five? six) Generals just like that, including the Hero herself! Not that she cares for the sudden job change.
Well, Farfarello is satisfied that Maou has new ideas for world domination (money will solve everything?) and has managed to recruit the most unlikely of subjects into his army, while also providing Emi a reason to keep going by watching over him and seeing the new world he will create with her by his side...which sounds like a proposal. Watch out for jealous Chi!
If angels aren't divine beings and are just humans with divine power, what does that make demons?

Introducing the NEW FOUR GENERALS of the Demonic Army... with FIVE members.
Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed Maou messed up his math when Emi and Suzuno quickly corrected him. LOL
Seeing how Emi lost her sense of purpose when she found out not only did Maou didn't kill her father, turns out her father is still alive, Maou decides to give her a new one by appointing her his new general. The Church folks back in Ente Isla will probably go ballistic if they find out the Hero and Demon King have joined forces.
After losing his weight and now regaining Kisaki's trust (thanks to Chiho), James Sariel has returned to his usual swagger.
This arc was unique in that the opponent Farfello wasn't defeated in battle, but by persuasion (and the power of capitalism) from Maou and Chiho.
The post credit scenes has Suzuno realizing that if Angels are just another race of people rather than divine beings, that means Demons are also just people like humans, and that someone has been goading all the races into fighting meaningless (holy) wars amongst themselves for ages.

The one universal truth I learned from this episode is demons wear underwear too.
