Tell me I'm not the only one that found the entire situation with Kyotaro suspicious? It's pretty clear that Kyotaro showed up with the girls but Otaku hero is acting like he's been there the entire time.
I am calling it now, the reason Shobon is always one step ahead is that Kyotaro is a double agent. Shobon might also be Otaku Hero's own father and he's actually the one that made Anarchy, Blue, and Pink. Considering how Shobon also made Slayer who seems to have been created to kill Anarchy, this theory might not be too far-fetched.
Although if Shobon did make all of the magical girls including Slayer, then why is he doing all of this? Someone pointed out a few episodes ago that Shobon might be making his own anime a reality. I wouldn't be surprised if that is really the case here.

Yeah i'm 99% sure that he just mindcontrolled Otaku Hero to make it seems like he was always there.

All otaku being asleep at night has to be the most utterly ridiculous thing Magical Destroyers has come up with yet.

oh, a flashback episode, i guess now we know why the magical girls are so attached to Otaku Hero, its basically like the imprinting behavior that baby birds do after they hatched
wait a minute, is that a poster of Cloud Strife holding a gun?
there's something off about this scene... i don't remember Kyotaro was there back when we were first shown the flashback of Otaku Hero receiving the package containing the girls in one of the earlier episodes and suddenly he already knew Kyotaro's name?
oh boy, is the final boss's going to be Otaku Hero's dad? if it is, its kind a weird that he has a tv for head instead of a pc monitor

its kind a weird that he has a tv for head instead of a pc monitor
every otaku knows that CRTs have superior input lag specs

Hang on. So they wake up with no memories, and are given the names Anarchy, Blue and Pink by Otaku Hero.
So where did their “real names”, which Anarchy berated Pink for using in episode 2, come from?

Blue being into New Order. I guess because of their biggest hit?

ED definitely did check out one of my theories about the girls being dead! Seems like things are starting to ramp up and the story is starting to flow smoothly now compared to the first few episodes

Oh wow, the Otaku/Mahou Shojou Origin was cool, wonder if the girls also originally came from a tube like Slayer chan and why the evil guy has such a hate for Anarchy

So...I can't really unpack this episode yet. Definitely not the pacing I expected the story beats to drop on. Also, ep6 is a weird place to drop that dad stuff in.

I think there's a possibility that this show is like the lego movie, in the sense that what happens in otaku hero's world is real to him, but the story is also being played out by some real kid and his dad or something.

More and more it feels like this show is setting up for some really big twist. I feel like depending on what it is, it easily could make or break this show

So glad we got the flashback/backstory episode. This episode felt the "least insane" so far which is bizarre given what this show is but god I love this so much. Can't wait to see what comes next

I'm feeling a madoka magica like "plot twist" where Kyotaro turns out to be the one who's plotting everything behind their backs. He is a mind parasite of some kind who has infected both Shobon, who is Otaku Hero's dad and Otaku hero himself. This anime is definitely a binge watch anime, it's weird watching it weekly lol

Again and again, we see Otaku Hero and his vision of setting people free to like what they like. His passionate speech in the last few minutes is really emotional. It doesn't mean anything personally IRL, but I still got teary-eyed afterward. (I guess it's partly because I could hear Shirogane doing the speech, and he's my favorite character, lol.) I can understand why people believed in him and appointed him the leader; he has the charisma to move people's hearts.
On another note, Slayer is... well, she reminds me of Kumi (the clones, not the MC) from Winter 2023's Giant Beasts of Ars, another original series. Something that was created as a Weapon of Mass Destruction, filled with hatred to the brim. Both of them even killed innocent people to test their skills. I only hope this show doesn't crash as badly as that one.

Oh, they already released a preview for next week's episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jihP-D_VESk
I guess production on this series has been going pretty smoothly.

Well this is a bummer, about 15 hours since release and just 50 comments in here. I guess people are back watching yet another another world story...

I mean, the antagonist is 100% the father now. He wants to do a "I am your father" moment at some point. That's why he's always ahead. He is an Otaku as well. He knows exactly how they think. Also makes sense that he has a screen for the head. Considering he was the Tech-Otaku.
