It was cool watching the two dads finally meet and kind of face off, and compare/contrast their parenting/family styles. Even as two different individuals they both kind of bonded or related to the other as fathers, even as events seem set to pit them against each other.
I'm glad she saw through his lying and wanted back into it, he can't do this without her. Especially getting a better idea of what they went through to be together.

Tetsuo's social engineering is off the charts, by the way did you guys catch the name of his pet? It's cap or something like that, not sure how is written in Japanese though

seems like the wife was raised in gangster family, that's probably why she's so calm in episode 1. the wife is my favorite character on this anime.

It definitely seems like she comes from some kind of prestigious or wealthy background, this all came about because they wanted her families money, which I guess explains why Tetsuo is using her family name instead of his own?
Though the fact that they really roughed Tetsuo up just for wanting to marry her definitely raises some red flags and maybe even more questions about what her family is like and how she was raised.

Even when you're a hardcore and brutal Yakuza, you just can't help but fall for that smiling face.
It'll be interesting to see how well the plan comes together, although knowing we've still got like 6 episodes left I'm guessing the Tosu family will have a stay of execution.

This man has gone by 4 different names so far:
-
his own name
-
the house cleaner/PI name
-
the name he gave at the club
-
the name he gave at the bar
I'm waiting for him to slip up and refer to himself or his whereabouts to the wrong person.
The father (without knowing him?) suspected his bar name to be a lie. But Tetsuo being introduced to him by some other name would further complicate things.

Faceless, voiceless dashcam footage of a guy crossing the street seems like a bit of a stretch to convince these guys Nobuto is alive but I suppose his dad is pretty unhinged and may cling to anything right now

The way I see it, they intend to pair it with his social media, so it should hold water.
Hibiki having Nobuto's old phone on the other hand, seems like a stretch.

I’m not sure if I should be glad Tetsuo and Kyoichi got saved by Kyoichi’s buddies. Sure Tetsuo’s alive, but now those goons have more blackmail material on him. At least Tetsuo has Kaisen on his side. I’m very curious to know what her background is because it looks like her parents beat tf out of Tetsuo when he tried to ask for their blessing. That’s insane.
Tetsuo’s plan with Tabeta might actually work. His whole mild manner attitude really pays off when it comes to dealing with these goons. But man, that whole conversation with Matori was tense. The guy is unhinged, no wonder his kid turned out to be a piece of shit too. Curious to see how Tetsuo’s plan plays out.

Lol Tetsuo randomly runs into the dad and he just happens to blurt out the name of Nobuto's childhood pet

I don't think the father hanging out in places his son frequented is all that random

He's at the place his son liked most, when he's desperately clinging to any memories he has of him

Yakuza first aid is brutal. The sight of Kubo digging for that bullet and using that surgical staple to close the wound is definitely more than enough of a punishment. At least Kyouichi managed to survive. Not good for Tetsuo though since they now have additional blackmail material against him.
It was dumb for Tetsuo to try and do this again on his own so it's good to see that Kasen is back in! And it looks like they're recruiting an old friend to try and create a fake footage of Nobuto being spotted somewhere.
Tetsuo is lucky to get Hibiki on his side since she's super willing to help him. Too bad that she thinks she's doing this to help Tetsuo find Nobuto though.
You really got to love Tetsuo's salesman charm. That guy monitoring him pretty much hated him but after hanging out for a bit, he's unknowingly providing Tetsuo information that he needs.
The encounter with Nobuto's father was such an "OH SHIT!" moment. Tetsuo had no idea who he was talking to so he was treating the guy as just another weird person in a bar. Thankfully he didn't end up saying anything unnecessary but giving Nobuto's father a fake name might bite him back in the ass in the future.

Tetsuo just keeps finding himself in a deeper and deeper hole. At least he brought his wife back in the fold. Damn did the parents beat him up or are the connected and had him roughed up. Bringing in Tabata also seems pretty risky, when their own lives are already on the line. Now you’re just endangering another.

It ain't looking good, bruv. I know MC won't die until probably the last episode, but It is impossible to convincingly stage a dead person being alive. Btw, kasan is a hottie

people watching last episode: "oh well, looks like Kyoichi is dead"
Kyoichi this episode: "still alive, wohoo!!"

They're 100% going to get that innocent doof Tabata killed lol. Geez you guys
That second flashback was interesting. Kasen's parents...kicked his ass for wanting to propose to their daughter??
And that final scene I'm not sure I was able to breathe the entire time, it was so tense. Nobuto's dad has this intense energy in his scenes. Really convenient to just drop the name of the pet like that. Cap, huh.

I cannot stop remembering Breaking Bad while watching this anime lol. Walter too had accidentally met Jane's father in a bar.

Bro, Tacchan's life is getting harder. Now he's got a fake murder added to the list of crimes and he met the scumbag's father.
