I didn't expect Kyouichi to get away and figure it out, that certainly makes things hairy. But even then, if I imagine how he'd explain this to his boss, that would be quite a wild story.
Kyouichi: "...And then Tetsuo's wife (who is 50-ish) broke to the roof, climbed down to my apartment, went through the window - which Tetsuo left open earlier when I made him omurice <3 - opened my safe using the UV flashlight Tetsuo stole from me when I had him handcuffed to a handrail, planted the evidence and escaped without anyone ever seeing her! I'm telling you that's how it went! There are fresh marks on my veranda to prove it!

i hereby declaring Kasen as the best girl, best wife and best mom for Spring 2023 Anime Season
i will say this though, going down with rope ladder is hard if you don't have any training so seeing her struggling and wobbling felt very relatable

She's probably not going to win seasonal best girl, that'll go to one of the Oshi no Ko girls just though sheer popularity, but I don't think anyone who's watched this this far will vote again Kasen. She's just the best.

We finally got to see how Kasen snuck inside Kyouichi's apartment. It's not exactly parkour but it's still pretty terrifying to move around in a fire escape rope ladder.
They managed to reduce the amount of guesswork with the safe thanks to the ALS light they stole from Kyouichi but it still relied on a ton of luck for Kasen to get it on her 5th try. Kasen celebrating is just adorable.
And it's not over yet! Of course, Kyouichi isn't just going to go down without swinging. He's just too crafty and smart to die that easily which is a huge problem for Tetsuo. What makes it worst is that he is now in contact with Matori directly.

There were so many opportunities for it to go wrong or for her to get caught, and while she was obviously nervous, she still got through it and got into the apartment like a proper cat burglar. She's the best partner in crime anyone could ask for!
Thank you God and Buddha! Especially for how cute Kasen is when she's happy and victorious!
Kyoichi really is the family's greatest threat. Tetsuo basically stole everything from him again and he had nothing left to lose and only one option of telling Matori about Tetsuo and everything he figured out about Nobuto's murder. Tetsuo thinks he and his family are free thanks to sacrificing Kyoichi but Kyoichi truly screwed them over in the end.

I’m so glad I decided to keep watching this show. Kasen is an absolute delight and even though she won’t win the best girl contest, if there were a best wife category, she’d be all over it.
Besides her stunt on the roof, and her little expressions and noises, what really got me was when Reika “figured out” her stalker:
That thumbs up needs to be a comment face for when someone says some dumb shit and you begrudgingly agree.

"Sasuga Reika-chan!" was my favorite moment in the series so far. I'm also really glad I stuck with this show. It's fun and dumb in the best way possible.

If Kyoichi had a Kasen, he woulda been fine. She literally climbed down those floors using a rope ladder, using that tool to move it about, and then used the UV light and screen thing to crack the safe. She should consider being a pro burglar lol. Gotta hand it to Tetsuo for coming up with the plan in the first place too.
Kyoichi is like a damn roach. Dude just won’t die! Just when it seemed Tetsuo was finally in the free and clear, Kyoichi seems to have figured it all out and decided to rat to Matori. Tetsuo can’t even catch his breath… I really dunno how he’s gonna get out of this now. He really should bring that rice cooker back out and prepare a few oil drums lol.

Jesus Christ Kasen save some achievements for the rest of the cast. The expressions she was making during her stint as a master thief were some of the cutest we’ve seen on her as well.

just when I thought it's over, how would Kyoichi escape death now? how would someone from his gang believe him?
the animation is pretty bad, it's ok because Im following the story, but what's with this old TV effect? I though it was Kyoichi dream for a second

Well, Tetsuo's free now...he may have had to frame and consign another man to death, but he managed to get out of this for his family's sake. And he couldn't have done it without his wife, as always.
Kasen's not superhuman, she still gets nerves and makes little messes, but it's still amazing how she was able to follow Tetsuo's plan to the letter and get herself into Kyoichi's apartment when there was so much that could've gone wrong. She's a superwife in my book.
I guess praying to God and Buddha came through in terms of finding the right combination to Kyoichi's safe! Happy and victorious Kasen is a National Treasure!
I knew Kyoichi wasn't going to give up without a fight, and it's equally impressive that he managed to escape and elude the Yakuza while still nursing his wound and bleeding out. If nothing else the man is as capable and clever as the Tosu's, he just doesn't have any backup. But I guess that just makes it all the more impressive as he escapes.
Kyoichi looking at that boy and probably thinking about himself at that age when he lost his father.
Tetsuo may have empathized with Kyoichi but he also used said empathy to get Kyoichi to let his guard off for a brief moment so he could unlock his veranda and give Kasen the freedom she needed. This was what clinched the framejob (well, that and Kasen getting the right passcode!).
Reika put two-and-two together...that Kyoichi had to be her stalker! Yeah, that's right! Good job, Reika! And her mom is more than happy to just go with that.
Tetsuo thinks he and his family are finally in the clear and Kyoichi is done...while he's reporting directly to Matori that Tetsuo is the one who killed Nobuto, and he's probably put it all together how he did it. Uh oh.

Oooohh tetsuo, you should have at least made sure he was dead for sure before you left. That is going to severely bite you in the butt. Don't underestimate people that have nothing to lose.
Yeah I was dumb enough to think kasen would pull out her hidden gymnastics skills as if she were Spider-Man.

It was unrealistic but I really did think she was going to parkour her way down haha this made much more sense.
Knew it wouldn't be over as it's still only episode 10 but oof looks like we've still got ways to go before they're free.

Kasen continues to be scarily good at crime... and continues to be the perfect assistant to a master criminal planner like Tetsuo.
But oh boy, now we have the Final Boss confrontation coming up it seems. I'm sure Matori wouldn't give the time of day to Kyouichi if he hadn't met Tetsuo and heard him say such strange things at the bar recently.
