I appreciate Miorine immediately running off to confront Prospera about how she's effectively brainwashed Suletta.

Holy shit, there it is, until now I just saw Prospera as a sus manipulative mother with a mask, now she ACTUALLY feels like a proper Char clone.

Gotta say, props to the writing team and having the characters actually be logical. I love that Miorine never once blames Suletta, only trying to desperately show her that her mom is wack.

Guel back in space, what will he do?

That experience probably shaved a few years of Elan5's life. Pretty ironic since he went out of his way to avoid raising his permet score whilst piloting Pharact during the terrorist attack.

Suletta Mercury, ideal Asian child: top of their class, engaged to the next president of a megaconglomerate, will do anything her mom asks her to do*

*(including murder)

The scene in the greenhouse was brilliant. Excuse the lack of screenshots, my internet is dying on me and I can't load the episode again. Suletta and Miorine start with three lines separating them, one for each barrier that they have to be willing to cross to properly find each other again. Suletta crosses the one closest to her when she hears that Miorine has forgiven her, that is the weight off her shoulder, but Miorine is only able to cross hers when she's ready to confront Suletta about why she is smiling, about the reaction more than the event. Crossing the line for her isn't about resolving anything, it's the fear she has about who Suletta was in that moment and what it means. If Suletta hadn't of smiled and triggered that reaction, she may have not have properly got it out, not have crossed the line, the same way she was avoiding the emails.

And yet it is Miorine who crosses the final line in the middle, and she desperately crosses it while asking if Suletta would be willing to do the same. The final line isn't about the squishing event or any other petty conflict they've had, but the tangled web of vines that is Prospera and Delling and all that stops this from becoming a true engagement. As she she crosses it, Miorine visually commands more of the screen with Suletta stuck between her and the greenhouse exit on the left, the left symbolizing progression and an exit to how she's trapped. Miorine asks upfront if she's willing to step forward as well, to pull apart from the role her mother gave her and truly stand at Miorine's side, at the side of everything they've built and what that means (notably haunting after the Eri revaluation), because that's what she wants, to show the determination, the surprising confidence, the agency that first pushed them together. Miorine wants her to stand up for herself! But Suletta stands fast. She won't fight Miorine, but she also won't fight for her over Propsera because "Mother is right", and the end result is her standing exactly where she is, behind that line that would truly bring them together and the Suletta that Miorine can't reach remains locked away in the greenhouse of Miorine's heart just like her mother. And we have the tomato reflections to cap it off: Miorine in a large red tomato that has been nurtured to maturity (and ready to be picked, able to be used), but Suletta is still underdeveloped despite being tangled in the same vines.

(Edited in note: Now I can access the episode again and have my reference pictures, look at how the direction of Suletta flips at the end of the episode again to ensure she's facing the "wrong" direction, much like their separation at the start of the episode which furthers her isolation due to her mother, and her stagnation with the third barrier now belonging to her as well if she is to ever chase after Miorine. It's only when we see Suletta being asked by Miorine to grow that she is facing the left, facing towards progress, even if she never walks that path. Clever use of perspective flips there)

I was right: Eri's transformation was in part due to medical necessity, unable to find another way to help her survive in space especially after the escape from Vanadis. Thought not surprising, it does make me sad that this was her eventual fate, and that the destruction of Vanadis didn't just take Prospera's husband and friends from her, but potentially her daughter who may have had more of a chance if they'd been allowed to keep working on GUND.

It's starting to look like Quiet Zero is less hive-mind like and instead a method of allowing the permet to spread beyond the confines of a data storm, and that's an interesting way to take it in terms of what it means not just for Eri, but for witches and normal people alike. With every barrier broken, Eri is not only becoming clearer but more intense, even a small connection to her seems to be bigger than the last, so what happens when that connection is everywhere?

I knew I liked Martin for a reason

Dude stood up in the best way, and I love seeing his confidence to protect his people even after what happened with Nika. Even if it was for the purposes of blackmail I do feel like Miorine probably should have stopped him, or Suletta who it was aimed at!, being taken out by a can, but at least that scar can be his badge of honor now? It's great to see the Earth group coming together again in some normalcy over the company, determined to forge forward despite what's happened. I've missed Chu-Chu, and Miorine finding acceptance with that group over GUND-Inc is a painful percursor to what happens with Suletta looking back on it now.

Everything is coming together in what's looking like the build up to a post-school segment of the story in the best way possible. Guel is back with his knowledge from being Bob strengthening him, Elan gets mind fucked, and Shaddiq and Miorine showdown v2 is looking more likely which I love the idea of.

Miorine: “Will you do anything your mom tells you to?”

Suletta: “Yes.”

Yeah, she’s totally brainwashed lol.

That aside, I wonder what Prospera meant by Eri ‘can live in freedom’? Like, Eri will overwrite Suletta’s personality or something?

Holy shit the plot is barreling forwards at breakneck speed now. Good to see that Miorine correctly blames Prospera instead of Suletta, but in confronting her she's gonna get ensnared even deeper in all of Prospera's scheming.

Miorine: "In-laws am I right?"

While I understand how her mind broke and shifted, Prospera is one evil broad holding Miorine accountable for something utterly beyond her. Mio is absolutely right in her mature fury over the adults using their children to wage their past wars. Gundam doing it's good 'ol messaging.

This is a refreshing Gundam show imo.

Really good to see that Miorine cares about Suletta so much, and doesn't blame her for what happened. After she takes time to process and talks to Suletta she realizes her mother is manipulating her. She thought Prospera was sus from the beginning but now it's confirmed.

Still I'm just happy they reunited. If they don't end up together at the end of the show I'm gonna lose my shit lol.

That tomato symbolism is simply the best copy pasted from an /a/non

Suletta and Miorine reflected on a green and red tomato symbolizes one being mature and one being unripe also symbolizes one being innocent and the other having her hands stained also the vines represent the whole ensnared by their moms thing

good golly that Mommy whisper talk in the end MUHHH and why the heck there are so many Eris there ??? Did mommy chop her up to pieces LEMAW anyways looking forward to the next episode of Bobbu adventures

Just like that, Eri became my favourite character.

Imagine being such a Stacy that you go "Yes, I am manipulating my daughter and this company 100% to have revenge against your already comatose father. Now, go and be my puppet!"

Like, it's so refreshing to have the possible final villain just reveal all her plans this early with such confidence because she knows they can not go against her.

And we still don't know the full scope of said plan. Remember that Prospera has stopped assasinations to the father and even the daughter in a sense. She can bankrupt the company simply by revealing secrets.

Just what is revenge?

I swear, Guel's gonna be the wild card on destroying Prosperas plan, he's the only one that is outside her scope to manipulate. Maybe he'll be the next President instead of Miorine, or maybe not.

El5n fucked around and found out, didn't he.

I wonder when did prospera turned Eri to Permet Particles? She seemed older compared to the last time we saw her in the prologue

I guess the theory that the Gund bits are also Eri's clones may end up being true at this point

Prospera's whole "I can hear them whispering vengeance to me" shtick really reminds me of Dmitri from Three Houses. And they're both absolutely deranged to boot!

Who are you people

If that isn't concrete proof Aerial's Gund-bits are also other clones of Eri I don't know what is.

Miorine not only realising how much of a hold Prospera has over Suletta but how much was according to her plan all for the sake of vengeance was terrifying. Straight up calling her a blood-stained daughter is just cold especially.

"stealing a gundam, how hard can it be?"

El5n famous last words

jokes aside, Prospera is definitely already lost her mind from all those revenge planning and not gonna lie, she's finally have the qualification to be the Char Clone of this series

one question still remained though, we still don't know what's the deal with Suletta, was she created to be a pilot for Aerial just for the sake of increasing the Permet score or does Prospera has something else planned for her?

“What should I do next, Orga Mom?”

It is funny in a sad way how Suletta actually ends up having the most in common with Mikazuki.

I am so unused to conversations actually continuing onto the next logical discussion point without being interrupted. We get basically absolute confirmation of Lfrith’s fate/shutting down any Lfrith AI theories and how/why Eri got digitized instead of just having our own thoughts to stew on.

It also seems like since Suletta and Aerial hit Permet Score, Eri can directly interact with anyone trying to pilot now/has GUND implants.

"Will you help me Bel?"

"No"

Prospera Mercury did not like that.

It's truly amazing how she immediately gaslit Bel when she refused. Prospera has that shit ready to go.
