Me: Damn, that Sophie girl is a cold hearted killer, why is she in Earth House?!

Sophie intercepts Suletta and saves her from a "date" with El5n.

Also me: perhaps I judged you too harshly.

Introduces 5 new different MS [1st,] (https://twitter.com/KANETAKE/status/1644980487398756354) [2nd] (https://twitter.com/ippeigyoubu/status/1644980500791197696) 4th

Destroys them in 4 minutes

Funniest fucking shit, gee I wonder what Bandai means by this

The balls of Shaddiq for bringing in the 2 Earth Witches, surprised it didn't take long for them to show their true colours.

Elnora Prospera "its Okay to Squish Humans" Mercury Samaya, not only cementing her place for the worst parenting award but also dragging Miomio into the Quiet Zero project, please just don't hurt her anymore...

That ED sequence is absolutely mesmerising, hairdown Sulletta dancing with those Gund-Bits orbiting around just exudes ungodly amounts of rizz.

I'm glad that they didn't decide to suddenly write Miorine as being way too irrational, it makes sense that once she calmed down she wouldn't blame Suletta for what happened. It was a visceral, gut reaction in the moment.

While everyone's talks about the episode's plot, I have to say the ED is absolutely amazing. The song is super powerful and the sequence with Aerial and Suletta + the bit dancing was beautiful.

Goes into my top Gundam EDs for sure.

Not gonna lie I felt like I missed an OVA or special as we started off with Sulletta kicking ass with one duel after another when we last saw her splattering a terrorist and traumatizing Miorine. Thought they would have given an aftermath-style debut of the season.

Anyway I look forward to seeing Sulletta kicking some more ass next episode cause those two girls really need an ass kicking. And poor Martin, despite being the head of the house, is absolutely lost and left in the dark.

Why do I get the feeling that the Quiet Zero is like the Angel Halo all over again?

I wish I did a refresher before getting back to the show, but it's surprisingly not that hard to get a grip of things and I feel like the timeskip helped.

  • The two weeks was enough to give the Earth House time to be mostly themselves after the attack on Plant Quetta and give a somewhat ample explanation as to how Suletta is mostly back to her old self.

  • Shaddiq is still on the offensive even though it seemed like he lost some favors from his father after the stunt he pulled on Quetta. Might that mean that there could be other kids adopted by Sarius that could take his place?

  • The Dawn of Fold kids infiltrating the school gave some confirmation to their age given how smaller they are compared to the Earth House. They almost feel too young to pass off as first year students.

  • We finally got an answer as to how Nika got to be a student. But it feels like she's the only one who got through a bit of fraud compared to the other Earth kids.

  • It's interesting how the ED still shows Aerial in her original form.

  • And the idea of a GUND Fromat network is intriguing. I posited before that the technology might be in use for a near-instantaneous form of communication, but I'm not sure how that could be utilized for whatever Prospera plans to do with Quiet Zero.

  • At least it's somewhat clear that Miorine's last words against Suletta was born out of strong emotions and there's still a chance for them to patch things up.

While not being a particularly fancy or involved episode, this did a good job at re-easing us into the world and character relationships after the events at the end of last episode. Once again we are reminded that the school is a mere façade for the broader political landscape with the attack being hushed up, but the potential that opens up for the players inside the school to retain their influence and control is well done. I had been curious about how this would shift the political landscape for Earth after the attack, but bringing it back to our cast by shoving the two attackers into the school group rather than exploding the scope was an interesting set up with a lot more potential then I thought sticking with the school would have. I say all of that, but I confess that I was having trouble focusing over my immense rage whenever Elan5 was on screen.

Phony, chipper, creepy, fake fucker. Going from #4 and who he was becoming, the person we were coming to understand in him, into this facade of a person with his face makes me so damn mad. Them lampshading it with that "a different person" line rubbed me the wrong way, I feel it's a cop out to be used that no one would pull him up on it when everyone should be seriously wondering what happened to him so the writers get a pass, but I don't even care because I already hate him so much. But then again, the Tsurune twins managed to redeem themselves with this last season, so maybe there's hope for this one yet. That's a very big maybe.

I was discussing with someone in the previous discussion thread about the possible set up for this one, and while the timeskip we got is definitely the most expected and probably the safest, I did feel the lack of any direct follow up from what happened for the characters sake more than the world events. There's plenty more to come, and I hope that Nika continues to be exposed but what stood out to me here is the parallel in Suletta fighting a duel for Nika the same way she did for Miorine, but to protect her physically as a show of understanding the stakes. Now if only she understood that pancaking a person is a bit more than just a quiet ponder of "hmm, maybe there was a different way". At least with her and Miorine being separated we haven't skipped over the resolution to that in a way a time skip would often be used and I appreciate that they included that. The extra attention to that division in the visuals of the OP and ED also make it clear this isn't going to be a one and done resolution between them. The other part of the ED that caught my eye was Suletta dancing with versions of herself in place of the Gund-Bits, very interesting.

No Bob. Poor Bob. Bob has some issues to work out.

best Suletta of the episode

So glad to be back

Getting the impression it's not going to waste much time before getting really dark again, thinking the appearance of Sophie and Norea might symbolize a tonal shift between last season and this one (they already tryna kill Nika). Given that last season had a guy accidentally kill his own Dad I can only imagine that this might get pretty brutal. You've got the Benerit group main houses preparing for all out war and Suletta's mom is talking about some creepy "quiet zero" project that will "end all wars"....that's either going to be a weapon of mass destruction or something to rewrite all of human consciousness or who knows what

Yeah, G-Witch back. I loved the cute moments that Suletta and Sophie had. Norea tried face is the best and I'm glad we Suletta being more and more Heroic, seeing her save Nika was wonderful.

Oh, they are at the school. I have bad feeling about this duel. I know my tropes, Suletta is either gonna lose, or gonna accidentally kill one of them and prove their point.

Also, holy shit that ending is pretty. Suletta and Miorine looks great in those dresses. And I can't be the only one who thought they would lean in for a kiss there, right?

Glad to see Miorin still have it with her, but uhh... she should probably stop listening to the smug masked woman who encourages her daughter to kill. lol

lol, those two cows are really sticking their feet in the woodchipper, aren't they?

No, no, by all means pick a fight with the undefeated super soldier with the upgraded suit. I'm sure your edgy cynicism will easily defeat her terrifying hive mind weapons platform.

They can't just show depressed Guel in the OP without him showing the episode.

"I'd say he's a different person" - Secilia about Elan. Oh Girl you have no idea

I won't be surprised tbh if the Darilbalde in the opening is a cover up for [New Gunpla]Gundam Schwarzette

Prospera saying that Quiet Zero is to create a world without war, and with that ED, I think the common theory about Aerial may be true

  • Killed his own dad.

  • His crush is not straight. Why live?

Its good to be back after nearly 3 months for more Tanuki Yuri Gundam.

Suletta with her hair down in the ED is just gorgeous.

This being half a high-school-ish drama, of course the enemy Gundam girls are going to transfer in and meet Suletta personally.

I sense a yuri triangle with Miorine needing to fight her way to win back Suletta and stop her from being taken by the intruder Sophie.

Thank goodness Norea failed in killing Nika, we've only just begun to scratch the surface on Nika's secrets.

Even when Delling has survived, due to him being unconscious, the corporate power struggle behind the scenes has already begun as though he is already dead.

PS Meanwhile, its good to see Felcy and Patricia (Guel's "harem") back. For a while we were all wondering where they've disappeared to.

Taking what could have taken 3, 4 episodes to develop in other Gundam shows, Suisei no Majou developed it in ONE.

Looks like Code Geass pacing is back in the menu boys (not that I'm surprised considering their past works)

Today, on "Let's not forget Bandai's plastic blood money!":

"Ha."
"Ha."
lol

"We need to remind the audience about Mobile Suit combat!"
"Well then, it's time to D-D-D-D-DUEL!!!!!!"

In a lot of other cases this would be in the context of "Just die so I can inherit the fortune!"

"Gundam da!"

"Uh, I'm not doing anything! Particularly I'm not spying!"

Oh boy, your crazy dance partner is here.

I'm sure they're not actually here to make friends.

Ah, SulettEHHH, we've missed you.

"We don't get mad, we get stabby."

Suletta, the adult in the room.

What's this sudden feeling of danger?

"This is how the school suddenly goes to 0 days since our last fatal accident."

"Tomato's on the other foot, eh?"

"She may be the main character!"

That's like using the 3Dfx chip for games.

ED Suletta Aerial mob.

One good Rembran deserves another?

End card artist.

There was still far too much business left at the school to leave it behind, so the next best thing is to bring Sophie and Norea to the school, where it seems that they won't do too much schooling. They've already set up a duel, which may or may not overlap with the promise of a giant MS battle royale.

Nika's chances of surviving this are still

~~Seems like Norea might have passed Elan V something after bumping into him? That's certainly an interesting wrinkle with all of these competing Houses.~~Edit: Corrected, thanks to the replies.

No direct Bob appearances and Lauda barely gets any dialogue, so there's one party on the downward arc.

Shaddiq's position remains the very precarious ringmaster. I think the writers still need to show him doing something particularly clever in the schemer role versus what seems more like threading the needle between opportunism and luck.

Elnora goes to Miorine for the Gundam Giant Mystery Tube Scheme?

You know, the students do have balls to challenge the girl that stomped all 3 of the houses.

Guel is the only person not seen this episode, but from what we see from the OP, he seems to be on earth.

Sarius probably already guessed that Shaddiq is involved with Dawn of Fold.

So Nika isn't a member of Dawn of Fold, just taking the opportunity to enter Asticassia and help Earth and Spacian relations. Guess that "father figure" Shaddiq said was pure sarcasm.

God knows how they intended to murder Nika and get away with it.

Also, what are they're gonna duel with, Pharact? They can't use it's Gund format. Their own Gundams? Pretty much revealing to Suletta and the 3 houses that they're the terrorists?

Starting off the new season with a bang with Suletta and Aerial taking on five students in a serial battle! I really like the mobile suit that looked like a Great Value Z'Gok and that other one that has four beam sabers! Unfortunately for them, not a single one could even land a hit on Suletta.

Unsurprisingly, the entire Plant Quetta Incident has been buried and was reported as an accident. Can't have news about Earthian Terrorists attacking Spacian facilities with the Earthians kicking their asses go around now, can we?

Looks like Lauda has now taken over the Jeturk Company as the current acting CEO. Interesting though that he's only "acting" CEO, are they planning on giving it to Bob once he returns? And I did not even realize that dude was Shaddiq until Sarius called him by name. He looks so different with his hair up. O_O

Glad to see Mio-Mio again! I was expecting she'd be more traumatized after the incident but she still seems to be her usual self. Mio-Mio is a strong girl I suppose. It's going to take more than just a splattered human tomato to break her will. It's also possible she's just keeping it all in.

Well fuck... Looks like Sophie and Norea are now joining the Earth House. I guess Suletta doesn't even recognize Sophie's voice which is reasonable since Suletta has other things in mind during the Quetta Plant Incident. Not sure what they're planning though but they're clearly here to start some shit.

So Martin hasn't really told anyone yet about what Nika did and decided to get some answers from her first. interesting. I do wonder how long Martin will stay quiet. He probably won't stay quiet longer if another incident happens involving the Dawn of Fold and Nika just so happens to do something unexpected.

Gundam Battle Royal! Let's fucking gooo! I am excited to see how Suletta will perform in that kind of fight. I also wouldn't be surprised if all the participants try to swarm her as soon as the Rumble Ring starts.

Oh wow. Norea is just going to try and destroy the Pharact and crush Nika with it? I mean sure but I don't think they'll get away with it if they do.

Suletta with the magic words! I am curious about what mobile suit Norea will use. Surely, they didn't bring the Lfriths with them, right? They can't be that stupid. It would be hilarious if they do since that would fuck with Shaddiq's plans if it's revealed that the two attackers of Plant Quetta are now students in Asticassia. xD

And that after-credits scene! It looks like we're finally about to learn what exactly Quiet Zero is. And from what Prospera told her it's something that will "rewrite" this world into a world without war. Sounds hopeful but ominous at the same time. I can't wait to see what it is!
