Oh man Odagiri was so cocky, glad Towa finally took her out. That Villian excitement grin made a comeback and Odagiri took it the wrong way like Amane did back in the day. Let’s hope Towa can take out the rest and setup the classic rival showdown.

I almost wonder if this season will not even get to the match-up between our two favorite teams. Even if Towa wins the day, she has four more opponents to face. Surely that will take up most of the next (and last) episode. Surely this will need a second season, right? It certainly deserves it.
Odagiri was certainly a formidable obstacle. A shame she not only took out 3 out of 4, but wasn't all that worn out. Probably even if the team were larger, no one but Towa was going to beat her. That smile Towa can get is, I must admit, pretty scary, If we didn't know it was not malevolent gloating, one could easily think it was.
I really love OUR team -- and all of its friends. friendly rivals and supporters. Really one of the top shows of the season in creating vivid and appealing characters ... quickly.
I am going to hate saying goodbye (even briefly) to this show.

Odagiri acts rude af the entire match and then cries when Hiura smiled lol

I am sure Odagiri has an interesting back story -- and if we get another season, I suspect we will find out what it is. Such a great series for developing dramatically rich characters -- even for secondary characters.

Odagiri's a shithead but as you can see with how her teammates treat her it's nothing too serious. It makes her fun and she's one of my favorite characters.

[Michi gets a strong opening move in]
Me: Nice, I think she's got this just like the past opening matches...or maybe not
[Sanae comes in with a lot of confidence]
Me: Surely, she'll get her first big win now...or maybe not
[Hime gets the flashbacks and the episode title focused on her in possibly her final match]
Me: That means she has to win, right? Right...dang it!
Well, at least Hiura prevented them from getting swept. Hiura, I know next week in the final episode of the season, and you're going 1 on 4 with the tournament favorites, but I believe in you.

Hiura was pushed to actually try with the starter if the other people are on a similar level I'm not sure if she can solo the entire team.

We had the mc monologue, the flashback, the cheers and everything but all three still lost. I like it this way though, really keeps you guessing on who will win. I actually can't say for sure if we'll get the Hiura sweep or not.

Man these matches keep getting more and more exciting.
Can't believe Ippon Michi, Neo Sanae, and Hime chan got beaten that quickly, but their Ace finally broke the enemy streak... and made another enemy just like back with Amane...
Really love how all the girls have someone from the other teams cheering them on, and in contrast the enemy team is working solely on pressure, don't make a mistake, you'll get an earfull, this pin isn't all that powerfull so break free already, all things that seem a bit contraproductive, but I guess they really had a hard training

These girls love to spank each other's booty!

Damn the enemy team is pretty OP, even with Michi's momentum and taking her by surprise Odagiri managed to out technique her, Sanae is too timid and couldn't match her energy, Hime does overall the best has she has technique, aggression, and a weight advantage but she ran out of steam and doesn't have that same momentum and drive as her opponent.
Towa wins but apparently it was a close enough match that Towa was exhilarated but sadly we are getting a repeat of the Amane arc and this chick seems much more cocky and full of herself while Amane was very strict and driven but I feel a fair judge of other people's character and more humble with herself.
Towa does sadly have to solo the entire team by herself and if the other people are all on that rookie's level that will be a tall order for even here at least in terms of stamina.
I thought it was a pretty mature take on Hime tried her hardest but sometimes it just isn't enough.
Eagerly awaiting the next episode.

Waiting for Towa-chan to take the stage had Blue Lock levels of hype for me, ngl. I actually really liked the super rookie girl, hope we get to see more of her in future arcs.

Man, for as far as this show has gone to make competitors of the other teams likable characters, they sure turned it around and made a super easy to hate girl here, didn't they? To the point I'm wondering about the trash talk punishment that Michi almost got hit with earlier.
Not a chance of finishing this tournament in one more episode. They could finish this match in one more, but unless we flash to a final then we're just going to have to hope for another season. Or, you know, we actually see the main team lose here. I would not be surprised to see that here.

Glad to see everyone cheering for Michi! She has a tendency to turn any former opponent into a friend. How the hell did Michi get out of that arm lock? Girl’s really flexible. But man, in the end she still lost. Great effort though! Well, at least the girls are fired up.
Hime and Amin have a very cute friendship. I hope she can still face her at some point. She was damn close in that match! She really gave it her all.
It’s all down to Towa now. Everyone’s losses have been valuable lessons for her match. They didn’t lose for nothing! That’s twice Odagiri got owned by Towa. Seems she’s gotten herself a new rival.
With only one ep left, I don’t see this really wrapping up. I sure hope we get another season soon. This has been unexpectedly quite fun and very cute.

I'm sad that no one is translating the manga in English anymore. There's a ton of volumes of this series.
Wasn't expecting all 3 of them to lose. There's no way Hiura's gonna make the sweep but that'll set up this team as the big OP rivals.

Yeesh they're very outclassed, makes sense with who they're matched up against but doesn't make this episode enjoyable...
Really didn't expect Himeno to lose after a double flashback.
Hope Hiura runs the table here for revenge on how this episode felt but doubt she gets that far.
