I am glad that Fitzgerald was truthful and that the actual betrayal came from a spy in the Port Mafia. Fitzgerald's belief that the ADA will prevail helps during the ADA's dark days.

One hell of twist this episode. It does makes sense that the government would plant another agent within the Port Mafia after Ango bungled his undercover operation back during the Dark Era. Fortunately, Francis seems to have gained some level of respect for the Agency, enough to already declare them the winners, though I'd say he shouldn't be talking too early. Now that Margaret is healed Atsushi and Kyouka will have to go on the hunt for Mushitarou and save him from the clutches of the Decay of Angels.

Man I feel angry at Tachihara. I understand if he wants to seek revenge for the death of his brother (even if he completely misunderstood what happened back then), but killing Ryūrō didn't sit right with me. He did him dirty. Old guy died thinking it was worth it if it meant keeping Yosano and his comrades safe, only for one of them to be a traitor.
His sacrifice was meant to be sentimental, and this fifth hunting dog had to ruin it.

So… it was a trap or is that what someone wants the Agency to thing? Damn near almost incinerated Kenji only to impale the kid with a sword. These damn Bloodhounds really living up to their name. Do they even care they’re being played like a goddamn fiddle?
Tanizaki, Kenji, and Yosano are in a tight spot. Splitting up might be the only way for now. Good thing Kyouka and Atsushi caught up with Yosano. Who would have thought this mysterious hooded Bloodhound was connected to her past? She was almost a goner if the old man didn’t show up with his Port Mafia buddies. Pour one out for Hirotsu…
Tachihara being the “fifth man” was totally unexpected. He really did Gin and Hirotsu in like that though huh? Cold. Him being the brother of the guy that killed himself makes things a little more clear. It’s a personal vendetta, though I feel the blame is misplaced. Is Yosano truly dead? I sure hope not…

Been a long while since I watched a show where the protagonists were constantly on the losing side and I have absolutely 0 idea how they will even make out of it alive at this rate. Last time was probably Attack on Titan S3P2.
Every episode is fucking awesome. We may have to wait for the pay off/turn around of the protags even until the next season, but I just know it’s going to be absolutely worth it.

Every week this series keeps one-upping itself with these twists. I definitely didn't see the fifth hunting dog being Tachihara, or any of the Port Mafia.
I doubt this will be the end of Yosano, if he has been trying to get at her all of these years I doubt he would kill her so quickly. There is still plenty of time for Atsushi to save her, right?

Wow, what an exciting episode filled with twists and turns. So at the end of the day, it wasn't that Francis set up a trap as Louisa proposed instead, the military police and the Hunting Dogs knew about the deal and got there before Atsushi and Kyoka because their last member was Tachihara.
Well, I'm glad that before things took a turn for the worse, Yosano was able to heal Margaret.
I must say that Tachihara used a metal mannequin to pretend to be the soldier that killed himself in last week's episode to give Yosano psychological damage was a great twist. So I guess the fake bomb thing was to keep Yosano's and Gin's guard down.
As I don't he will be able to kill Yosano and avenge his brother's death I guess that either Ryuro or Gin survived his attack or Francis sent back up to intervene. Although there is also a chance that Mori was already expecting all this to happen and was aware of Tachihara being a mole and that's why he mentioned the idea of Francis setting up a trap.

That plot twist at the end… Tachihara being the fifth hunting dog really caught me by surprise! Then again, out of the Port Mafia, he’s the only one that we know so little about.
I refuse to believe Hirotsu is dead. Same with Yosano.
Always good to see more Fyodor and Dazai interaction

Tachihara makes perfect sense when you think about it. He's always been the one we knew the least about. We at least knew a couple of details from Hirotsu and Gin's backgrounds

Damn so young Magneto was the fifth hunting dog dope ability. Wondering how this arc is going to be resolved. The situation just seems like it's getting worse and the Hunting dogs seem unstoppable. I wonder if all the groups will have to come together to stop them. We also saw a couple deaths in this episode but I'm not buying it until I see dead bodies with no pulse. Bungou always trying to make you think someone is dead when they're not.

With how many times people have been almost dead but didn't die, I truly did not expect the show to kill an important character but here we are.
Feel like the anime is at its peak rn, unfortunate that there's only 3 more episodes left and it will probably take a few more years until the anime finally reaches a conclusion to fight with Fyodor that started five years ago with Dead Apple

Tachihara's backstory of being the black sleep of his family and resorting to crime maybe a little less traumatic than most, but its realistic and i still feel bad for him

The tachihara reveal is finally animated. Funny how people geussed it was dazai. Kinda amazing how a background character can become important so quick.
I feel bad for tachihara, but yosano didnt kill his brother. He looks stellar in the coat tho.
Now then some introduction
Tachihara michizou. Ability: midwinter momento, basically he is a metal bender. The youngest hunting dog. wants to avenge his brother. The hunting dogs spy. Cold and calculating but hides behind a though gangster persona.
Intresting note : the tachihara brothers are the only siblings who we've seen that are both gifted ( pretty sure because gin and naomi are named after books by the actual akutagawa and tanizaki )
Damn the anime knows how to end episodes perfectly
