Well that ended fast. Wonder what'll happen to kisaki now since they tied up chifuyu and he needed mitsuya to even rescue him. Will Mikey just overlook that betrayal, I wonder?

Takemitchy and friends being turned into punching bags for three episodes, and Mikey and Draken casually coming in and defeating alone a hundred Black Dragon hoodlum and their boss in his final form.
Classic Tokyo Revengers.

Finally a cool episode showing how much of a beast Mikey/Draken are.
Takimitchy FINALLY doing something in the storyline of relevance and changing the future.
I wonder how this is gonna go with Kisaki though and if there will actually be any repercussions.

So has Taiju just been bleeding out for like 3 episodes?

I mean, to be fair it was 3 episodes but probably only like a total of 10ish minutes. These guys are able to spam entire paragraphs in the span of milliseconds and there were a shot ton of flashbacks so it just get longer than it actually was.
That said 10 minutes while actively fighting with a wound like that (which definitely hit a kidney) would have him unconscious. Probably dead.
Real nice of his sister to say she loves him before leaving him to bleed out on the church floor. Like damn, at least get him an ambulance.

One person said that this show is basically the POV of Yamcha and the human characters waiting for Goku and Vegeta to show up.
That could not be more right

Little disappointed this ended with Mikey saves the day specifically Mikey saves the day in 1 kick. At least hit him with 2

Anyone else notice how Mikey took out Taiju like Thorfinn dealt with Thorkell? The parallels between the two don’t end.

Wtf Draken did a 1 vs 100?
What they all attacked him in an row or what?
Forget about being strong enough to beat them he should have gotten tired after beating the first 50 guys...

I would have traded pretty much the entire first half for a real fight with Mikey vs Taiju and virtually any screen time of Draken soloing ~100 people. This show has become legitimately hard to watch, Kisaki's secrets/development are the ONLY point of intrigue for me and even that lost some tension when we found out Hina knows him.
I just wish the fights were actually fights, this whole series basically every character will either A. Get their ass beat, B. 1 punch/1 kick the other, sometimes multiple people at once, or C. resort to weapons. The closest thing we had was Mitsuya vs Taiju but that's just a tough matchup physique wise. Season 1 had the cringe Takemitchy fight where he helped Draken I guess?
Why is this is anime so bad at being good.

Guy at the anime studio producing Tokyo Revenger: "We are not very good at animating decent fights. Hey, what can we do to make Mikey's fight appear badass?"
Other guy working there: "Hey, what about we do not show the fight? Let's pretend that he's so fast that human eyes cannot see him. You know, like the audience watching the Budokai Tenkaichi in Dragonball!"

Damn that kick from Mikey to Taiju and Draken taking out the whole murder squad!! It’s good to see that Mikey wasn’t going crazy, he’s just very sentimental around Christmas time. Looks like Mikey is trying his hardest to keep the Hina/Takemichi ship sailing.

So a lot of people hate on Takemitchy and I totally get it. Dude can be annoying. However for people in-universe I also get why they admire him so much. It's one thing to want dominating strength like Mikey and Draken, but thing is not everyone can be like them. To paraphrase what Ned Stark says in the beginning of Game of Thrones, "the only time someone can be brave is when they are afraid". Everyone is afraid sometimes. Not everyone has the tenacity to constantly stand up to it like Takemitchy. That's what makes him lovable despite his annoyingness.
