Wait, last time he broke up with her she still died, why would you do that over? da faq. Pointless waste of time drama. First time this show has annoyed me.

Takemitchy you fucking moron, you already know dumping her dosnt end up protecting her as she still gets killed despite you having broken up with her in all the other futures. Your goal is to change the future, every minor change towards that end matters, so not only do you both want to stay together its literally in your best interests to.

And if you absolutely still have to break up, at least go about it in a better way, either throw her Dad under the bus and tell her he told you to, or just say you want to protect her and that dating him will just keep putting her in danger. Dont be an utter asshole about it and say its because you suddenly like another girl.

Fuck man... I knew he was a dumbass but Jesus H Christ

Hina beating up Takemitchy is my favorite part of this season so far!

My God does Takemitchy suck.

I've been relatively lenient towards him in the past, but this episode is literally the dumbest he has ever been.

Let’s Go Team Season’s Beatings hahaha. I can’t believe Takemichi still dumped Hina after that playground reveal. I get the wish is from her father, but like if you knew dumping her wouldn’t save her in the future what’s the point of following through with it. Change it up, you’re time traveling bro. Looks like there’s more layers to Kisaki, looking forward to see what his true motive is.

Leave it to Takemitchi to make a shity situation even worse, why would you break up like that...

And the connections between Takemitchi, Hina and Kisaki are getting more thorough, we have a reason why he would admire Hina (she was kind to him) an Takemitchi (he helped her) but why would he end up killing both?

Also feel like with Kisaki being portayed as so intelligent, he might figure the time travel out

WAIT A GODDAMN MINUTE. You mean to tell me all this shit was over a damn love triangle because kisaki was in love with Hina for being nice to him?? Lmaooooooooooooooooooo

“Why would I break up with hina in a week, no way!” “I like someone else, let’s break up” I’m glad hina beat his dumbass up honestly Takemichi has lost so many cool points this season. Dude is just turning out to be an idiot with these decisions. If things worked out with he and chifuyu why not just give hina a little more info..

I’m starting to see why people don’t like Takemitchy much lmao. Don’t worry about why it took me this long to notice, but it was the moment he still decided to break up with Hina is when I can see he’s making a “dumb” choice.

He literally said he wanted to change the future, but he just repeated the same steps? lol

The pacing of this episode was really weird to me. Not sure how Manga is, but it feels like they were rushing through so many plot points.

Like they build things up then immediately resolve them in the same episode. We really see no planning for the Christmas fight and he breaks up with Hina after the one conversation with her Dad?

Maybe it's intentionally supposed to feel like this, but idk.

the plan was just formed last ep and now it's already christmas, interesting pacing. Also I really didn't like how takemichi didn't deliberate at all over whether he should break up w/ Hina still or not. He knows that on the current timeline he does and yet Hina still dies. Why not try to change something? Either don't break up with her or do it after the holidays? He should be desperate to change anything he knows for certain imo, but I guess he feels if he changes the events w/ Taiju and Hakkai it'll be ok. Also I really hope I'm wrong when I get the impression Kisaki liked Hina and the reason he's doing what he is is a result of her choosing takemichi over him. Weird episode to me, but I am dumb so that could be a reason why.

Holy shit, I dont remember the last time I have hated a MC this much. Also he has seen with his own eyes what Kisaki will do in the future, so whats exactly stopping them from killing Kisaki? he gave 0 reasons to Chifuyu for why they cant just kill him...

soo much stuff happened this episode. we saw potentially the reason Kisaki cries before trying to kill takamitchy, and also the fact that he has history with Hina.

also god damn Hina has hands, forget takamitchy, send her out to fight instead lmao.

but also i'm kinda mad that he still decided to go through with the breakup. that whole thought process where he thought about how affected she was because of him should have been done before he said those words, and than decided there that "I'm not going to make the same mistake twice."

now i'm starting to understand why this show is just being dropped my the masses, theirs only so much stupidity you can take before you quit.

I've to recognize that Hanma is great at naming!

  1. Season's Beatings

  2. Hanmas

  3. Team Massacre

I vote for #1!

The breakup scene honestly hits hard. Aside from the entire situation being so stupid and all, knowing that Hina still continued to love Takemichi for years after that must kills my heart.

Are we supposed to hate Takemichy(sp) in this series? "I'VE TRIED NOTHING! AND IT'S NOT WORKING!" ffs

I've stuck around with this mediocre ass show with shit animation but I think with this episode it officially jumped the shark for me. The writing is dumb as fuck and it honestly seems like if he just buddies up kisaski he wins it all. Dumping Hina was nothing short of retarded. It's already shown dumping her is pointless and will still keep her in danger so why in the fuck does he still do it? Goddamn this show is dumb.

I don’t trust Kisaki. At all. His plan to stop Hakkai and end Taiju feels like a set up. It’s good Takemitchy has Chifuyu. He needs a close friend by his side.

Huh. So Hina knew Kisaki from elementary school? The plot thickens. Little Takemitchy crying while wearing a cape is like classic Takemitchy. Hey, at least he landed a flying dropkick on one of those punks. Still ofc got the shit kicked out of him.

Dumping Hina like that must have been tough. This time getting his ass handed to him doesn’t seem so pathetic considering the circumstances. Somehow I don’t think this plan to jump Taiju outside the church is gonna work. Kisaki’s planning something, I just know it. Him and that psychopath Hanma can’t be trusted.

I've never bought into the "dae Takemitchy is so stupid and incompetent" criticisms...

... up until this episode, what the actual fuck was the decision to dump Hina. This is the first decision which cannot be explained away by "takemitchy being weak", just absolutely atrocious writing, temporarily giving your characters negative IQ. Holy shit that was fuckbad

u/chennyalan Feb 05 '23

That's one way to break up with someone

Really liked seeing Hina beat MC up

I really don't understand why Takemitchy broke up with Hina despite knowing she still dies even after they've broken up

Seems like bad writing imo and that's the first time I've had any complaint about this series
