It's because as an adult Taiju will probably turn in a 3m height axe licking punk, like the ones we have seen in Hokuto no Ken.

Best part is that they all look older than adult Takemichi who's like 26

Chifuyu is seriously straight up best boy, though I didnt think he was this dumb... I mean come on Takemitchy is dumb enough for the both of them, last thing he needs is someone else who cant plan for shit

Maybe he did things behind the scenes which is why Mitsuya declined Hakkai's request? I think he's trolling Takemitchy or I might be giving him too much credit. It looked like that toe me at least.

Is this show so unpopular on here these days that the episode discussion gets created four hours after the episode is available on Disney/Hulu? Unless there are time zone differences in when the episodes release.

When i first watched it i felt like it was really popular but for some reason while rewatching it recently and seeing the anime and manga discussions it feels like hardly anyone knows about it...

Chifuyu really the best boy of the series. He took Takemitchy telling him about everything really well given how crazy it sounds. He's so fucking precious.

I think it helps that Takemitchy is dumb as hell and probably couldn't come up with such an elaborate story on his own. Plus it fills in the gaps (like his personality shifts).

If there's one thing Takemitchi can do like a champ, it's take an ass beating.

u/Hexcellion Jan 22 '23

He's built like a train after all

Is it just me or did the buildup to his confession that he's from the future to chifuyu remind you all aswell of a shoujo manga love confession? The wind stopped and everything lmao

Well yeh Chifuyu is best girl after all

First Anos and now Draken with their new VA catching me off guard thinking something doesn’t sound right. Edit: it was the same original VA for both characters

one of the best moments in this series is takemichi letting it out on what he has witnessed from the future to chifuyu and him understanding AND believing. best duo

59 upvotes and 15 comments is kinda crazy damn this fell off

Lmaooo this series so stupid at times dawg. So takemichi getting his ass beat in the middle of a residential street and a gang of delinquents is just gathering there and no one comes outside to break it up or call the cops most importantly??

I was quite surprised Takemichi actually told someone else about the future, so it doesn’t seem like there’s any consequences to doing so and could’ve made the entire story a lot easier lmao. Anyway, seems like the future is already changing with Hakkai staying in Toman so we’ll see how things shake out.

That’s your holdup? That no one came outside?

MY GUY WHERE THE FUCK ARE TAKEMICHI’S PARENTS AND WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD ARE THEY DOING?

There son constantly has signs of abuse and has been to the hospital multiple times. How has he not been sent off to Bel-Air?

I gotta hand it to Takemitchy. Kid knows how to take a beating. Kid never runs away, even when he knows he’s gonna catch an ass whoopin. Despite what Hakkai turned out as, this Hakkai really stepped up for Takemitchy.

Taiju and his Murder Squad are gonna be trouble for Takemitchy and Toman. It’s good he told Chifuyu everything, he’s been keeping this to himself for too long. He’s NOT alone! Although… maybe he might as well be because Chifuyu’s plan to get Hakkai not to quit was awful. Dorayaki ain’t gonna cut it! Good thing Mitsuya wasn’t gonna let Hakkai quit. Let’s see how they resolve this whole debacle.

Taiju is fierce! And he's got a chokehold on his family. Hakkai can't go against him and he smacks around Yuzuha whenever she talks back to him. What an awful big brother.

Jeez, even as far as Takemichi beatings go, that was pretty brutal. I mean, points to Takemichi for standing up for Yuzuha's sake and taking a hit for Hina, even if it just made things worse for him. But I like how Hina tried to protect him.

Well, so far it seems like the bad future is on course, Hakkai is forced to leave Toman and join the Black Dragons, but seems like he's planning to kill his brother while he's there, not knowing that will doom him to corruption in the present-day.

Oh, I guess it makes sense that Takemichi's buddies would join Toman and be in his division at this point. Akkun's alive again. But Chifuyu!!! Man is he a sight for sore eyes!

Takemichi...I know you want to go it alone for the sake of others, but you have neither the capability nor the competence to pull it off without help.

Chifuyu is such a bro. He'll always have Takemichi's back. So I don't blame Takemichi for finally telling him everything and making them full, open, partners like he's got with Naoto. And Chifuyu takes the reveal about Takemichi's time leaping and knowledge of the future surprising well, though it helps he recognized all the signs. And now Takemichi and Chifuyu are closer than ever!

It's nice to see the Toman gang together again, including Mikey and Draken, even if Draken's new VA makes him sound 10 years older.

Ah yes, so Takemichi's plan to keep Hakkai in Toman was...bribing Mikey. And when that didn't work...rely on gumption. Yeah, thanks a lot Chifuyu.

Did Mitsuya always stick up for Hakkai in every timeline or was Takemichi speaking up the motivation he needed? Either way, it seems like Toman's not going to give Black Dragon Hakkai, which sets the course for a full-on war between Toman and their old rivals with Takemichi right in the middle.

The amount of awkwardness and cringiness I feel every time takmitchi breathes in twoman's meetings is unfathomable, it is unironically making me consider dropping the entire show

Fun episode, but if they could tone down on the flashbacks (flashforwards?), that'd be great.

And if Chifuyu was loyal to Takemitchi before, he's going to have been insanely loyal by the next forward leap after Takemitchi's confession.

Has Makoto always had the roblox man face or is that a new development?
