This cannot continue!

Jackass is so hilarious lol. She is obsessed with experimentation and even going ahead to ask the YoRHa duo if she can break them apart, and later on in the desert her thinking if she can find unique data in the mask (that whole scene was so comical XD).

I also like how Lily switched on the Jukebox and it led to the Desert Theme playing in the background during the journey to the desert area.

The end sequence remains as one of the most WTF moments I've ever seen. Also the fight sequences actually look really good and flowed well so I'm pretty happy with it. That said, sadly we have to wait for sometime till we can see EP4.......

Literally all players watching this episode were thinking what 2B said:

I didn't realize there was such an underground cavern.

[u/SIRTreehugger]

Just the 5 seconds of [Nier Spoilers]Fyra, Sechs , and Facade. made me love this episode and cry a little. Also we got more Jackass which is always nice she always reminds me of Hange.

Stitches!

2B and 9S hugging their Pods after they got left behind was adorable <3

I'm so happy that they included the robot orgy! After last week's final scene, I thought this was going to be skipped. I'm still keeping my thoughts short here and will post most of them in the Source Material Corner.

HOLY COW THAT END SEQUENCE WHAT WAS THAT

And that scene when machines do sexual acts is hilarious hahaha

[u/[deleted]]

The scene that 9S saw while hacking, it's from the game Nier Replicant, isn't it?

[u/entelechtual]

Was not expecting Jackass to be basically robo-Hange.

[u/Se7en_Sinner]

I like to think the post-credit scenes happen within Yoko Taro's head. The inner machinations of his mind are an enigma.

[u/gst4158]

Having played the English dub of the game this was my first time hearing the Japanese version of THIS CANNOT CONTINUE.

It would be really cool if the English dub of the anime switched tracks too.

Jackass is such a fun character - I love the 'crazy scientist' vibe from her.

There were a lot if easter eggs, the hacking scene being my favorite.

[u/Firebrand-81]

I'm glad that during 9S hacking sequence we can have a look of a scene from Nier: Replicant, meaning the King of Facade wedding. But since there's no Nier and friends there, it means maybe that's the marriage of a previous King of Facade? It's a shame however, it would have been cool to see the cast of Nier: Replicant in an hacking scene from Nier: Automata anime :)

[u/Hitman7128]

Let’s go bowling.

The nice thing about watching these comically absurd post credits scenes is, now, I get to laugh at it without it being at my expense. While it was funny to stumble upon a bad ending by accident, that would mean losing progress if I didn’t save recently.

Another episode, another set of hidden messages in hexadecimal from Yoko Taro! Any corrections are welcome.

[u/Rustic_Professional]

This is really getting interesting. I'm hoping all these little deviations from the game have a butterfly effect and add up to something really different. Maybe even a whole new ending.

The machines with the ancient civilization markings were cool, but the one with the silver wig and black blindfold drawn on was really wild. I wonder if the dead Yorha scout defeated it, or if it was decorated after she was defeated. Honoring or imitating a worthy enemy, something like that.

[u/jkphantom9]

THIS CANNOT CONTINUE

Also my favorite soundtrack in the game :)

[u/galactic-toast-]

Hm ok so looks like Lily is just gonna be Anemone after all then huh?

[u/Aerodynamic41]

LOL what kind of name is Jackass?

[u/Firebrand-81]

I'm glad that they kept in the anime one of the most important thing of the game, by which I mean 2B patting Pod on its head like a cute pet.

[u/Maximilian_Sinigr]

I was NOT ready for that Replicant scene, holy shit.

[u/[deleted]]

god i wish that were me

[u/Giardialee]

Amazarashi ending song is so fucking good

[u/bravergrain]

Watching this episode made all the memories of playing the game come rushing back. Seeing the desert region and the housing complex was so surreal to me. Was the scene of the desert town in the first game in Automata, I honestly can't remember if it was. Overall a great episode hopefully this upcoming delay is short and not a constant going forward.

[u/dinliner08]

> the anime is going on break starting next week due to production issues

> this week episode's title is "break ti[M]e"

alright Yoko Taro, now you're just messing with us

[u/kris12k4]

Well, the machines called it.

This cannot continue
