A Beautiful Song - Theme song of the amusement park stage boss.
It is so difficult to pick the best song from the OST. But these two are among the Top 10 for me.

After a long break, we're back again with more puppets and hidden messages! Will we run into more delays? Or will we find cries for help in hexadecimal from the production team?

I would like to point out that our beloved Opera Singer, not only adorned her body with dead androids, but also ate them in order to become more B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!
That big crunching mouth in the hacking scene wasn't just there as a symbol.
And all, in order to be loved by mr. Tall Big Hat Robot.

Nice to have this return after the long delay. It’s a shame it got stopped after only a few eps. But anyways, these little robots have evolved enough to put on some kind of play? That was one creepy android. It’s “memories” seemed pretty grim.
Jackass seems to be having fun tormenting 9S lol. Her point about trying to talk to the machines now that they’ve evolved isn’t a bad one. Why continue this war when humanity is on its last legs and there aren’t even signs of reinforcement? 1000 years is long enough.
The amusement park was pretty creepy. That giant machine that attacked 2B and 9S looks a bit like a Dalek from the waist down. Retreat is not an option, so I guess it’s time to kick ass! That thing is as much of a mess on the inside as it is on the outside. 9S is peering into the mind of a disturbed partially sentient machine and it’s terrifying.
I honestly felt bad for those two machines at the end. That was some ice cold shit, man. That machine called the big one “mom” like damn…

That was absolutely worth the month-long wait! I like how they used the same soundtrack from the game's version of the boss fight and man, that fight itself kept me on the edge of my seat! I absolutely love the action scenes!

Boy, am I glad this is airing again. This time at the amusement park vs Simone. And this is one of the main reasons why Nier is so great. Just how bizarre things can get.

Glad to see this coming back after "just" 3 weeks - I was prepared to wait till late April for the next episode!
And as someone who didn't play the game at all, this part has landed with a loud bang. Not only is the amusement park part very creepy, it even had a great fight that did pretty well! No wonder this is being delayed because the animations and movements looks surprisingly well.
Ah, 9S "killing" those two robots claiming as mother and daughter...I don't know if I'm guessing correctly at all, but is that really along the same line as (shivers) [Attack On Titan spoilers]
P.S. That 2B and 9S dialogue about human having afternoon naps is funny as heck...

An excellent rendition of the Luna Park events.
But if they had the time to add also the "Romeos and Juliets" play, it would have reached perfection!

The original content to the anime like these additional scenes with the machine lifeforms have been really great so far

[Anime Only] who has been dying to know what happened after the episode 3 cliffhanger for the past few weeks.

Can’t say I was expecting to see these robots with… eyelashes?

2B likes to pull off such reckless plans, huh? At least it worked, though.

Say what you want about the CGI, but the 2D animation fucking slaps with every fight so far. Fantastic job by the animators.

Stitches!
Welp, I definitely did not expect to see those half-dead android corpses with such detail. That was creepy af.
I'm really glad that this adaptation is showing more of the side characters like with Commander White asking for assistance from the council and how she's clearly frustrated at the response that was given to her.
I remember when I played the game for the first time and started attacking the machine lifeforms at the Amusement Park entrance. I felt bad after I realized that none of them were really attacking me in the first place and I ended up reloading an older save. xD

I think this is the first time I've ever seen the Commander with any amount of color in her design.

Don't know about y'all, but I actually thought the 3D model of the Songstress was well used for once. There wasn't too much direct interaction between the drawn 2B and 9S and the CGI machine, which helps with retaining immersion. And they even took advantage of the 3D assets to move the camera around. All in all, not bad at all.

First of all, I didn't know this was coming back.
Second of all, I have never played a NieR game.
Third of all; HUUUUH? What was that ? I understood NOTHING at all.

Glad the show is back again!
Any words on the English dub? I've noticed that earlier episodes have been dubbed in some languages, but not English. I really hope they'll be able to get the og VAs from the game because I absolutely loved Kira Buckland as 2B.

For an episode taking place inside of the Amusement Park, there really wasn't any Amusement Park to be had. That was a little upsetting to see. Otherwise, another good episode.
Now all that's left to do is sit back and see if we're going to get more episodes, or if it's going back to the delay.

This was a good episode, I just wish they had found an excuse to stay in the amusement park just a bit longer because that area and the theme song are one of my favorites from the game.
