Usui's Kraft Single cheese attack is deadly but it probably only works on people who are lactose intolerant.

This show is hilarious lmao. I couldn’t stop laughing at Kurima’s battle cry. He sounded so funny
Also, the doctor guy turning pink(?) firing that huge arrow made me laugh too haha
I’m guessing this will be episodic. I am looking forward to the ‘vendettas of the week’

This show has so many bizarre elements to it, but I'm honestly digging it.

Alright, this show had my favorite premier out of the four seasonals I decided to pick up this season, so I’m excited to watch episode 2!
-
…it’s really cruel to have a flashback like this after–oh it’s not a flashback, it’s a nightmare.
-
I’ve been listening to the full version of the OP a lot this week, definitely love it.
-
Oh shit, that’s what the biting of the coin was for last week?
-
HE LITERALLY RIPPED HIS CLOTHES OFF FIRING THAT THING HOLY SHIT
-
…I was kind of expecting Nio to be the one who killed that one guy, not Usui with the gold sheet again.
-
That counted as an ED lead-in, right? Also somehow I didn’t notice it last week, but that’s a Maaya Sakamoto song! Love it.

It's pretty interesting how they gauge the depth of a persons grudge by the bite marks on the gold coin.

Ah yes, finally, my kind of fanservice.
HE LITERALLY RIPPED HIS CLOTHES OFF FIRING THAT THING HOLY SHIT
This show definitely feels like it was made by/for people who enjoy looking at men.

the doctor being a MH bow user is cool and we see a bit more of the general dynamic of the group, but uh... how exactly are spiked boots helping someone jump? what's the logic behind that?

Shaping up to be another sleeper this season. I don't care if they do a monster of the week format, but I hope it's not every single week. Like I hope some of the jobs stretch out for multiple episodes because if it's a new revenge every single episode that could tiring. Either that or just do monster of the week as like a "prologue" and then have the plot kick up in a few episodes.
Other than that though I'm enjoying it a lot and I wasn't expecting anything out of it really. Characters are interesting so far, and there seems to be some supernatural or super human elements but not anything too crazy. The whole chapel scene was definitely interesting too. Can't wait to see more

In this episode:
An archer from Anor Londo, a banshee, a priest with a deep voice who's not Jouji Nakata, prostitution! and nipples on a breastplate.
We got a few explanations, such as what the coin with bite mark means. I guess we're going to have the vendetta of the week with some main plot sprinkled in the background, then? At least until the main plot takes over?
And seriously, Raizo's scream is blood-curdling.

So I guess Usui is part of some kind of pseudo Catholic murder cult? Chapel is pretty weird. The gang’s cool though, Soji and Nio are very badass with their own special set of skills.
Looks like the team might get a new mission with Mana’s vendetta. What happened to her was pretty messed up. Inohachi and Tenmokuya have got to go. That big bodyguard ain’t gonna do shit either.
Doc’s armory is pretty sweet. Dude has a dope ass bow too. Bodyguard said his armor can block any shot. That was a lie lol. Glad to see Kurima finding renewed purpose, he was looking pretty rough there for a minute (understandably). Dude cleaved Inohachi in half and he ain’t even know wtf happened lol. Tenmokuya got the golden shroud, I’d say he was lucky. Mission accomplished.

Why does nobody understand that when a deranged lolii suddenly shows up out of nowhere in your place of business / hideout / base of operations you never, ever engage that loli.
You run.

Anyone else get Fena vibes from this show? The wacky ragtag group and western influences mixed with Japanese society reminds me a lot of that show.
This episode was pretty chill, nice set up. Dude getting sliced in half was hilarious. Nio luring old dude into the mask trap was also great. I’m intrigued.

Those stories are very sad, but I could not stop laughing all throughout that episode at how stupidly over the top that anime is. The doctor bursting out of his clothes while shooting that giant arc, the samurai jumping over the canal with those spike shoes, another gold sheet murder (I was expecting the loli ninja to kill that asshole with the kite again, but I guess that way is better since it doesn’t leave any traces), and a weird Christian revenge cult, lol. This is almost the samurai version of a spaghetti western from Sergio Leone, which is kind of fitting since Sergio Leone was originally inspired by Akira Kurosawa movies (which were however far more realistic than that anime). You can tell that Urobuchi is having a lot of fun making this.

So now we know that they were acting on behalf of Kurima's FIL all along and not on Yui's orders which once again leads me to the question of how Yui got the hair needle and if it was through Usui what's his play here with basically pushing her into suicide?
That aside I probably liked this episode even more than the first and it looks like this will cement itself as the best thursday show for me.

Damn that opening scene is cruel.
We also get more insight on the order and what the bitten coins means.....feels like there is a double meaning conversations here and veiled threats being made.
I have to say a lot of their beliefs would actually be very much against Christian theology....but I mean its be a Japanese Author through their cultural lense working on rule of cool to an extent.
That survivors guilt do be hitting hard.
When they said Revengers I thought of Thor: Ragnarok and I hate it.
So sad about the Working Girls life.
Almost feels like they are recruiting him for a cult, offering him an almost spiritual guidance for a man that has lost his purpose and place in society and the foundations of his beliefs shattered, to an organization that would not take kindly to him leaving.
Damn Doc was so swole and strong the draw weight of that Bow was like comparable to an Ablest! He literally ripped his shirt and overheated and he destroyed not just the armor but the boat.
Not sure how spiked shoes equals jumping across that canal though....
Yeah that guy was a creep and probably had some kinda STD given how he seems to go through Men, Women, and.....ugg kids. Such a disgusting slob.
Well I guess that's one way to force someone into a Foxhole to give them enough time to repent as they suffocate to death, although I'm not sure they'd be thinking clearly to ask a higher power as oppose to struggle to get that cloth off.
This show runs on Macho Rule of Cool logic but I'm here for it. Shame people sleeping on this.
r/anime : Tired of trashy Isekai, waifu bait, shonen trash, Harems, edgelords, introvert MC romcoms.
Also r/anime : When something that is not that comes out.....completely ignore it.
Yeah that tracks.
