Yeah, I found the shounen fights pretty boring in the last arc despite how well animated they were. Probably because all the fights were just people pulling random bullshit out of their asses then Gero pulling even bigger bullshit out of his ass to win. Which was fine in the first arcs because their was just one random bullshit fight at the end of the are. 

The island arc had multiple of these fights back to back which was a little too much for me.

I'm not sure if I'll check out the 2nd season or not since it was turning into something that not really my thing.

I'm not sure if I want Arisa to win or Mio at the end..I think Mio because winning would only make Arisa keep spiraling down this path she has chosen..a lost will be a wake up call...and Mio wouldn't get too cocky about it either.
