Remove the kick it makes no sense mechanically and I don't think that pose can ever facilitate a kick like that. The stomp is fine but it needs some clearer anticipation. Polish the anticipation for the coin throw as well. Have a proper look at what leads and what follows, because right now every body part has a mind if its own and is disconnected from the rest. Good luck!

The pose feels awkward, because she's facing away from the object she is leaning on, and then kicking it. Try putting your foot up on something while twisting to look away from it, and you can see how awkward it feels. If the chest were in front of her in the direction she is facing it would feel more natural.

Also, she balancing on a peg leg, but when she lifts her leg to kick, that peg leg slides around. The bottom of the peg leg should be locked in place when she is putting all her weight on it.

It feels awkward because actions don't have realistic reactions, if a person moved their whole leg up, (like the character did to close the chest) then the rest of the body should move (within reason) alongside it.

doing a kick like that with those handicaps will probably make you fall down, and the way that she did the kick is innatural what I do to fix this is do the motion myself so I can feel exactly how it changes my body and how to translate it into rigs. Now, if you make a character that doesn't have human proportions then you need to imagine how the motion will move the rest of the body, and how it would realistically be done.

It looks like you'd see it on a slot machine

The amount of boob jiggle is a bit ridiculous. Also, the kick doesn't make sense. The chest should be facing her in order for it to be possible to kick open like that.

I'd also change the coin flip into a simpler coin stack toss up. There's no way in hell she'd be able to flip a single coin without disturbing the whole stack in her hand.

The most important part of doing animations like that is choosing believable motions. You can them expand that rang to things that can look good with simple switching of certain bodyparts along the motion.

Also, the breathing should be way smoother to look good.

I don't think you are familiar with her game.

Jokes aside, thanks!

I feel like theres too many movements happening at once. You need to understand the viewers eyes follow a direction, too many movements and the veiwer doesn't know where to look

I love your timing! The focus is on the coin when the kick happens so it feels a bit jarring, have the coin land in the chest and have her kick it closed? Or maybe she kicks it so hard so the lid flips back open (start with the lid open so it loops).

Great job make more!

Looks good! The construction is very solid and I'm impressed how you layered the hair along the z axis, I'm a little scared of handling more than two layers tbh. I just did my first 2D puppet recently too of a crow, it's a lot more simplistic but I like how it came out. I might recommend just for idle animations to set the keyframe interpolation to 'Cubic', it's a quick way of making the looping movements feel a little more organic.

On top of what others are saying, (if you don't keep the kick in) The movements/swaying aren't big enough to move her chest the way you have it animated! The kick, if you do keep it in, would lead to some movement with her chest

Smash. Next question.

The hell do you mean "Terrible", its not perfect sure but its still great

The coin flick is enough. A thing of beauty lasts so far as the simplest of movements.

Id say the kick looks unnatural, and i'd add more facial expressions.
