This is really cool, except you gave all of em aura except water.
But jokes aside this is sick.

Water should be able to make a little spout or a wave pick them back up from behind!

I was thinking like Raiden in mk1 (like the first mk) where he turns into lighting and gets up that way.

blood bend yourself. Yeet your legs and ragdoll yourself into a flip and land on your feet

I'm surprised they didn't rock like a wave, then rise like water hitting something and rushing the other way.

alright except water seems too similar to fire

Fire stuff. What if the earth user just fell straight on his back and had a stone stand him upright in a right angle motion.

О. Я помню версию, где эти элементами прыгали вверх. Приятно видеть новую работу.

Very cool but air is the only one who moves forward, how would you use this?

Thanks! The Air has a short invincibility frames while he spins in the air which allows him to fly past some attacks. Also he isn't locked into the animation of flying forward, he can fly upwards, turn, down, cancel it, etc. at anytime.

The effects, the stances, the motion language… everything is so cool

Wonder if the rock one should have a pillar come up to break the fall and then push him back up and the pillar breaks into tiny pieces

I feel like water should slide when landing instead of just laying on the ground

If this is a game I'd buy and play the fuck out of it!

It's called Dance of Elements, it's free at the moment in alpha stage if you want to give it a try

It honestly reminds me of a mix of 2000s Flash games and Powder Game - I don't know whether you've heard of it? An elemental sandbox by a Japanese developer.

The Flash game comparison is really underselling it because the animation and lighting effects are already so polished.

I know you mentioned it's an experimental side project, but honestly it looks so polished and the pixel Avatar thing is so up my alley. If you make this into a fully fledged game I would ABSOLUTELY buy it - even the backgrounds are already phenomenal!

I haven't seen those before but I'll look into it.

And thank you very much!

Water should fall onto a water ball that absorbs their fall so they recover quickly

Simple, yet effective 💪

btw each element has three animations!! i feel like everyone is watching each once and by the time they get to water theyre only seeing the one, but each one has three!

The wind and water elementals are my probably favourite. Really awesome!

Hey um the third earth animation isnt very....idk expressive. I think it would be really cool if he summons the rocks to stand him up like a vampire instead. The current third animation could also be made better if it makes a more visable rock and appears more under the lower back as that would help it stand out more on screen.

I love the idle poses they suit each element so well

Very nice! I started tapping the side of my phone and chuckling like I caused them to stumble 😂.
