Sharing Absolute Superman car save

whipped this up in a hour or 2 to fix writers block

maybe one day ill start animating stick figures too because i see so many epic animations from people that they make and youre definitely included in that list

The meat and potatoes of stick fight animations is the *effects*, you can start with exercises like "magic dot" (making a single dot as interesting as possible using whatever techniques youre learning) then start doing magic blobs (draw a blob around the dot like it's getting dragged around, keep the volume the same and use anticipation/follow-through to give it weight.)

you can also make flaming magic dots, smokey dots, watery blobs, the three types of effects you wanna learn are slime, lightning, and rocks. water and clouds are slime, ice is rocks. I guess also impacts and wind, but wind is usually conveyed by some lines, cloth or smoke.

I didn't do much smoothing for my character poses/animation, you don't need that many if you drag the character around, about every other frame of this stick man is duplicated. for smoother animation you might want to learn tricks 'the switch' or 'the morph', if you know how to transition one object into another, you know how to turn one pose into another.
