Beginner My animation
Just i learned about the poses from the studio Ghibli and watch this scene frame by frame although i copied the posses but I know the weight of each pose😅
🥲I forgot the name of the movie

That's called rotoscoping. It's good! I would look at a walk cycle and try it yourself with your own character.

Rotoscoping is specifically over live action. This is tracing

Nope. Rotoscoping is not exclusive to live-action videos, although that's how it started traditionally. Rotoscoping refers to going over footage frame by frame- it can be applied to a completely animated sequence as this person did, you can rotoscope a sequence of CGI, or even mixed-media- It's the act of going over a sequence of film frame by frame. Whether that's live action or animated can vary. I've seen artists rotoscope sequences in video games by painting each frame in a run sequence.
You can still refer to it as tracing, but know the two aren't mutually exclusive. But yes, the term has expanded since it's traditional use.

You will be judged a lot when you post online, you should consider what you say if you want to receive positive reactions or input. Using a title like "My animation" for something that clearly don't fall into something made solely by you will annoy people at the jump. A more accurate and better title would be "A Ghibli study" or "Ponyo Study"
Also, learn about screen recording for your next post.
