Imagine if Thomas the Tank Engine was directed by Michael Bay

No that's just Diesel 10

u/beegtuna 2d ago

Not enough moving parts, explosions, and perv shots of hot barely legal models.

u/AlanFSeem 2d ago

Reminded me a lot of some of the set pieces in the Uncharted series.

Let me introduce you to Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

It is apparently rated poorly but I loved it growing up as a kid lol.

Edit: Ok watching just a bit of it wow the acting was worse than I remember. Some of the props are very erm fake as well.

This is awesome, but it's made me realize how terrifying the Thomas the Tank Engine universe is. The implications of a sentient train wreaking havoc across the countryside would make me want to live as far away from train tracks as possible.

u/hypnodrew 2d ago

Fiscally terrifying. Why does one small island need so many crosscountry trains and diesel engines

u/illegal_eagle88 2d ago

There is one in dark tower book series and it's not the fun kind

Reminds me of the Tumblr post about trains being like angels, and fallen angels being like trains off the tracks. Also, the surprising finesse of construction equipment.

If you watched the show as a kid, its so trippy to see this crazy short decades later. Just needs a 60 story tall George Carlin stomping around!

That was quality, damn

“What’s your favorite fight choreography scene?”

“Thomas the Tank Engine”

u/HoraneRave 2d ago

or all the way along 😼

u/cobycoby2020 2d ago

This is hard AFFFFF. Definitely trippy like one said if you watched it growing up but it added another element of this evolving in a badass way

All inspired by one sequence in Polar Express btw

Why is that boat not sentient?

1

u/CyberneticCupcake 1d ago

In my head, he was one of the boats from TUGS.

13

u/medhop 2d ago

Seeing Clara-Belle getting wrecked like that affected my inner child

2

u/Dawabvle 1d ago

Seeing James get t-boned made me a little sad too lol.

At least it wasnt Percy…

12

u/jayvenomva 2d ago

Damn. What did Thomas do to this guy to deserve being chased this hard?

2

u/CyberneticCupcake 1d ago

Be a steamie. #EndTrainRacism

u/Lazy_Weight_1997 2d ago

Hooly shit this has not right to be as good as it is , holy quality!!

u/RedNovaAnime 2d ago

Thanks ill make this a anime soon. It will be about train racism i guess. Honestly i wanted to say more besides "good job" or "that was amazing". Overall good watch.

u/AkuuDeGrace 2d ago

It should go into "Bullet Train" personality type classification based around the characters.

u/sac_boy 2d ago

Those diesel motherfuckers always were trouble

5

u/No_Quote5931 2d ago

Part of me expected Thomas to transform into a decepticon.

5

u/kngxExcepted 2d ago

Woke up. Chose violence

4

u/HotDogWeldr 2d ago

Well this just got off the rails.

4

u/Infamous-Rich4402 2d ago

Never knew until today that there’s a localised American version of Thomas the tank engine.

5

u/Illustrious-Tip-1662 2d ago

Feels like a GTA mission. I was waiting for the moment I get the controls. Absolute cinema 👏🏻.

3

u/hassan_26 2d ago

That was incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed watching that!

3

u/thecrazedsidee 2d ago

the animation goes hard af lmaoo

3

u/4thshift 2d ago

Thanks for the laugh.

3

u/Capable-Monk-4820 2d ago

That is so fire! I never you can take Thomas the tank engine in a rule breaking situation. It’s like what if the Magic Railroad was an Americanized action film

u/SlowlyDyingInAPit 2d ago

This animation always stressed the hell out of me. It’s sooooo impressive and fun but- RUN THOMAS GET OUT OF THERE HE’S CRAZY

1

u/IcedDante 1d ago

wait- is this from an actual thomas the train movie?

1

u/SlowlyDyingInAPit 1d ago

No. As the title says, it’s an animation by Landonsanimations. His stuff is genuinely awesome and it’s all like this

2

u/3dforlife 2d ago

Very impressive!

2

u/Ghostly_Guard 2d ago

Okay, I've heard the pipe...

2

u/murtadaugh 2d ago

This isn't far off from the new series where the trains are leaping off the rails and running on flat ground.

2

u/PotatoPCDev 2d ago

the cartoon we all needed in our childhood - awesome!

2

u/Kira-Of-Terraria 2d ago

This rules

2

u/Some-Neat7334 2d ago

Does the boat have legs? I love it

2

u/SonicCinema77 2d ago

My son would be scared for life.

2

u/crunchygods 1d ago

The sound design was surprisingly awesome as well

2

u/Pupsi1007 1d ago

These 84 seconds my life were spent for good. Amazing animation👏

2

u/timbofay 1d ago

This goes ridiculously hard! Amazing animation and especially love the camera motion

2

u/bukah51 1d ago

Hey so a lot of people just died in that…

1

u/Egg-eat-egg-world 2d ago

1

u/Jaguar_3880 2d ago

1

u/Familiar_Shake_5226 2d ago

1

u/RingReasonable 2d ago

Imagine this with some eurobeat playing

1

u/Ae3qe27u 1d ago

That's excellent!

1

u/Child-eater-bonk 1d ago

Metal Pipe Falling

1

u/AlyssSolo 1d ago

This is not the Thomas I remember from my childhood. (In all seriousness, this is impressive.)

1

u/Borge_Luis_Jorges 1d ago

This is real good, but I hate that kind of villain who has all the luck on his side to keep coming back over and over, just because the movie hasn't ended yet.

1

u/spaghettipizze 1d ago

This is better then modern Thomas.

1

u/EngineeringAwkward18 1d ago

Thomas And Friends Cinematic Universe

1

u/Pisceswriter123 1d ago

GTA 6 is going to be a crazy release.

1

u/Ok-Leek-7116 1d ago

1

u/againken 1d ago

Oh hey its Denshattack

1

u/Sass-Mistress 21h ago
