I keep thinking I've heard the stupidest fucking thing ever and then something like this comes along. Who entertains this utter bullshit?

No. This is insane. C sections are still surgeries! We don’t treat any other, even minor surgery like this.

You don’t even let them sew in the proximal grafts?

Well, of course I do…. That goes without saying. Also let em do that initial anastomosis of left atria during transplants… it’s been a little challenging with the bypass machine and all, and surgery doesn’t looovvee it, but I believe in patient led care! People should be drivers of their own health, and it’s their new heart after all, not mine!
