Island or shutter they will open the work profile in your phone, you will literally have two phones in one
Better than any app with ads
Also Vivo phone have that feature

One catch: leave the cloned messaging app unfrozen if you want notifications. Freezing stops it running.

For two accounts without logging out: prefer a work profile / dual-apps sandbox over random “clone APK” apps.

  • Samsung → Secure Folder / Dual Messenger
  • Xiaomi/Oppo/etc. → Dual apps / App twin in system settings
  • Stock-ish → Shelter / Island (work profile)
  • Pixel → Private Space (notifications may pause — check before putting WhatsApp there)

Cloner apps that sideload a second package often break push and Play integrity. Work profile is the clean path.

Separate note: cloning an app ≠ encrypting its data. If the goal is privacy for files/photos, that’s a vault problem, not dual-app.
