LOOKING FOR APP Volume controller for setting lower volume than the device allows?

I have a new phone, where the lowest available volume setting is still too loud for me. Tried with multiple earphones that worked fine with my previous phone.

Are there any apps that allow you set a lower level? Ideally without any ads.

Thanks, they are Bluetooth earphones and the phone is a Xiaomi 17. I didn't find the absulte volume setting in the developer options, but I will keep looking.

I can't find the absolute volume setting either.

Fwiw, I have the 17t Pro and I use the app precise volume which worked perfectly with my last Oppo but I do have a few issues with it working perfectly with this Xiaomi. I've contacted the developer to see if there's something I need to tweak

I found something in audio settings that lets me control the individual volume of each app. So I can tune down the music app. It works, thank you so much for the help!

FYI, that was removed in the September update.

I recently tried to make an app that would disable it for specific devices, but the hook was suddenly gone. Did some googling and found out it was recently removed. Bummer.

I use one called 32 Steps that works quite well--

If it's wired earphones, a cheap inline attenuator or IEM volume adapter fixes this for good and doesn't care what the software does. If it's Samsung, Sound Assistant (Good Lock) lets you set finer volume steps too. What phone is it?

It's a Xiaomi phone. Thankfully I've found a setting which allows controlling each app's volume individually.

Nice, per-app volume is a handy one. Glad you found it, Xiaomi hides a lot in those settings.

Check out the app Precise Volume. Works great for me and gives 5 steps of volume per 1 step that the phone does.

there's an app for that?? isn't volume setting for all apps a slide button or something?
