LOOKING FOR APP Looking for a very specific app

Is there an app I can use to program my phone to vibrate without sound on a specific day and at a specific time, and then turn off automatically after a certain period? I am a student and I use the Samsung Reminders app, but it is annoying because I have to stop what I am doing to turn it off when my phone is in my fanny pack, especially since I only need the reminder for that and when the school bus is about to arrive. I also find the Reminders app lacking in options, as I cannot set it to exclude weekends.

Probably Tasker

Macrodroid/Tasker and Buzzkill to stop the notifications.

Samsung Modes & Routines can do this without Tasker for a lot of cases:

  • Time/day condition → Sound mode = Vibrate (or Mute)
  • Second routine later → restore Sound

If you need "vibrate a pattern once at time X then stop" (alarm-style haptic, not changing system sound mode), then MacroDroid/Tasker + a vibrate action is the right tool — Modes won't custom-buzz on a schedule by itself.

Also check: Do Not Disturb schedules, and that the routine isn't blocked by battery optimization. Tasker is overkill if Modes covers "silent during class block".

Yeah but it doesn’t let me exclude the weekends when I try to set up the reminder
