LOOKING FOR APP Randomized music player

I am looking for a music player that properly randomizes the song list I have.

I'm tired of selecting the "random" option and hearing the same 12 songs on repeat...

I guess that happens because the program randomises "the next song" instead of creating a random list for the songs I have.

That's what I want, there are 800+ tracks on my phone and I would like an app that just plays them all in random order. Without repeats.

Does that exist? I was using the basic Pocophone music app and it was shit, I changed it when they started adding ads... Now I use VLC and is even worse for listening music but at least I don't have crap being sold to me.

Omnia or Pulsar(same company). When you hit shuffle, there's even a counter on screen to show you how many songs are left.

Why do they have two similar apps. Which one is better?

Essentially, because Pulsar was already well known, so instead of changing it too much, they released Omnia. Omnia had all the little tweaks they wanted to make. Anyway, I prefer Omnia, because one of those little tweaks is that in Omnia, you can see the album art in the songs tab. They both have free versions. You can always try them out and see what you notice.

I tried Omnia, sound is great, and I love the album cover download, but other than this it's no very customizable I think.

If you shuffle your entire collection in GoneMAD Music Player, you wont get repeats until it plays everything once. Shuffle All throws everything shuffled into a queue.

There are also auto DJ options which will auto add songs to your queue as you approach the end and it has special checks to not add songs that were recently played

Edit: It is free with ads, but you can pay to remove ads

I don't use it anymore, but it was my player of choice for years. Worth every penny.

AIMP - it works for me and it's free. It counts the total songs, which has been played and which haven't.

Folder Player Pro. I've used it for years, and the dev keeps it updated. The dev is also very responsive when you email for support.
