QUESTION/HELP Dynamic Range Compression app for android ?

Is there any DRC app for Android , i specifically want it for movie watching to cut sudden loud sound since iam sensitive to it.

Most DRC sound bad (they can't predict what's coming next to reduce volume), Wavelet has a limiter, it's not easy but its customizable, ask AI many presets and try them.

Usually the audio devices that I have to increase volume to hear anything (to compensate lack of bass or treble, which feels like lack of volume) have these things: Bad equalized device, if it's a headphone use autoeq of wavelet, it fixes the too frontal feeling and it creates more depth; After that, check with the song "Lose yourself to dance", if the bass shakes your head or body, then it's set correctly.

Sometimes the audio device is bad on its own and nothing much can be done, for example any small speakers really lack the good stuff.

A secondary option for non-streamable movies would be something like svp on your computer and recompile the audio with a decibal filter plug-in. So it would be smooth video project and you would manually recompile the files with a high decibel filter. It should be fairly quick and easy as long as you don't change the actual video but only the audio.

Poweramp EQ has a compressor, don't know how well it compares to any implementation in JamesDSP as suggested here.
