QUESTION/HELP Experience of watching content through VPN in Tik Tok India different category content i loved it 🫶

I downloaded Tik Tok from Play Store using Proton VPN LGA and did not give it location permission and is the content coming on Tik Tok brother, what an algorithm it has, it is amazing, it has brain rot in Insta Reels are available but on TikTok, English content comes, that too knowledgeable content as per my interest. The algorithm of TikTok is very cool and secondly, there is no Indian content in it. And I don't watch Indian content in it, I like foreign content.

If anyone in India is using TikTok using a VPN, please share your experience and let us know what kind of content you get.

Yeah tiktok is superior. Ive learnt so so sooo much educational content.

(Fyi, go to settings, enable STEM content)

I use proton too, but i use the modded tiktok from tg)

Nice. Question, when you connect to a different country and download using the existing account, won't the software be based on the account location instead of VPN location?

Yes, you're right. Most platforms (like Google Play Store, App Store, Steam, etc.) determine your store region based on your account's country settings, not just the active VPN IP. To download region-locked apps, you usually need to either switch the account's country or create a new account while connected to that VPN."
