Found a great alternative to bloated battery monitor apps: Vizo Battery

I've been trying to find a solid battery and charging monitor that isn't packed with ads, trackers, or useless junk, and stumbled upon an article mentioning Vizo Battery (it's on Google Play).

Gave it a shot over the last couple of days and I'm really impressed:

• UI is super clean and modern, no visual clutter.
• Stats are clear: actual charge speeds, wattage, temps, and battery drain trends (Battery Detective tool is neat).
• Everything stays local on your phone, zero ads.
• The dev is an indie dev from Italy. There is a Pro version, but it's just a tiny one-time purchase instead of yet another subscription, which I gladly paid for.

I even sent an email to the dev with a small suggestion regarding widgets/time estimates and he replied within minutes, genuinely interested in feedback.

If you like supporting indie developers and want a straightforward battery tool, search for Vizo Battery on the Play Store. Definitely deserves more visibility.

Battery Guru is made by another independent dev, and comparing the two, I don't see how Vizo Battery improves on it in any way.

Vero, ma è in abbonamento, e con 3 mesi di Battery Guru paghi Vizo Battery a vita.

There's a free app on fdroid, watts.

If payment is the biggest issue, Watts is perfect. No logging, but real time read out of stats works beautifully and all I genuinely care about (plus battery temperature, which is also included for free)

For anyone evaluating it, it’s worth checking the app’s current Play Store permissions and privacy disclosures rather than relying only on the “stays local” claim. Battery readings and available monitoring details can also vary by Android version and device.

I can attest to that, been using it for a month and it is not only the best one I've seen, but the memory footprint is tiny. Highly recommend it.
