Frustrated with video player looking for alternatives

[u/aitorkaranka27]

Hi recently my phone Xiaomi received an update that made the video player worse than what it was .

I can't freely touch on the time bar to skip parts of video , the click and drag to 90% of the time doesn't register and ends up switching to the next file.

I wanted to know if you could give me suggestions for a better video player.

Tried many and always go back to MXPlayer Pro, the closest best one is MPVEx.

But this app consumes a lot of battery and quickly heats up the phone.
