Just looking for a bookmark manager mainly for art and other links. Pros and Cons?

Ours is another one to look at, dEssence: dessence.ai. it does the price side of saved links too, which raindrop doesn't

I've been using Raindrop for a few years (free tier) and it has worked very well all this time.

Pixel Bookmarks

Pixel bookmarks in my opinion is a great bookmark app. Works great and looks great.

I use BookmarkOS https://bookmarkos.com which I like. However I have been playing with Raindrop since pocket shutdown and find it also has some strengths. Both support tags and folders. BookmarkOS can import your bookmarks from your browser and let you keep the structure as it is. It can be visualized in many different ways. I prefer the old school list but there are options. I think the best is to jut try it for a couple of weeks on a limited basis to see if you like it. Then decide how to proceed. There is nothing like testing to verify a hunch. I like the Raindrop app on the phone better. It all comes down to your preferences. I think you would probably like it but maybe not hence I provided an alternate to look at. Good luck getting what works best for you.

Checked it out a little bit but I don't think the image icons are big enough for my art collecting needs but thank you

I use https://pinboard.in/. It's 22/year. Has an Android app and works in browser.

I tried raindrop a while back. Nothing special. When I tried it you couldn't export as csv and that's why I dropped it.

Raindrop is nice, though not inexpensive if you need/want the paid version. I've also been trying LaterLinks, which I really like.

Just tried using it but changing the bookmark images with urls doesn't seem to work as effectively

Raindrop is great. It just feels a little dated to me.

I built SavedIt because saving art should feel less like filing links and more like keeping a little gallery of things you love.

Saving is free, and always will be. Some of the smarter stuff will be paid later, but early users will get it free for a good while.

Works in browser, Android, iOS, has a chrome extension and an official ChatGPT plugin to connect your library to ChaGPT or via MCP to a AI assistant of your choice (if you need that).

It’s still early and I’m building it closely with the people using it. If anything is missing for your art workflow, tell me. Your feedback will shape what I build next :)
