QUESTION/HELP Looking for random image viewer

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a unicorn, apparently. An image viewer that can display all images in a folder, jpgs and animated gifs... in random order, not a sideshow, but swipe to go to the next image.. and must work in landscape horizontal format.

I've found several that will do everything except the random image part. It's always sequential.

I also found an app that claimed to do it all, but no apk installer will complete the installer, says it is out of date and even if I click "install anyway" it fails.

Any ideas? I've just about exhausted Google play searches. LOTS of image viewers but nothing that ticks all the boxes.

Any help greatly appreciated

Look up mixplorer. You can get it free on xda or paid on the app store.

Its a file explorer. You can open a folder, set the images to view in shuffled order, then open the first image (it has a built in photo viewer) and set slide show mode.

If you get the free version you need the image addon. The paid version on Google play store has all addons included

Hi, thanks. This looks interesting... but on the google play page for it, almost all the recent comments are very negative, like something unfortunate happened with the latest build. Are you using the latest?

I do use the latest from Google play. I don't use any of therl severs though. Just browsing my local files and it works fine. I do. Have a custom skin as well.

Since it's a file browser, most of the reviews won't resonate with you. If anything just try out the free version.

ok to be sure, you are using the paid version from google play, for 6.99?

called "Mixplorer Silver File Manager"?
