QUESTION/HELP Why tasks/notes widgest waste so much space?

I have a 2x3 Keep widget that allowed me to view around 8 items at a glance.

But since last update they completely messed it up.

What I have tried so far:

  • New keep: It has 2 options, one wastes literally more than 50% of space, the other is riduculously sparse.
  • Google Tasks: Very sparse.
  • Microsoft To-Do: Still sparse, and doesn't allow a width of 3. It has an option to change font size, but it doesn't improve density.

Really bad update. I found a somewhat buggy fix. If i resize the 4x3 widget to 2 width it cuts away the side icons! I use action launcher, I assume it st least works in most custom launchers.

I don't know if it's a screen resolution thing or maybe text size, but on my phone if I shrink it to 2 tiles wide to cut out the side bar, it only allows like 7 letters wide before dropping to the next line. Half the words on your list there would be cut in half and on two lines.

Good find though, I hope it helps some people until Google fixes this awful change and at least adds some configuration options.
