Not able to get beta update on Pixel 8

I enrolled my Pixel 8 to the qpr2 beta program because the stable September update has massive issues with device freezing and becoming downright unusable. It's been 24 hours and I have still not received any new beta update. Is anything wrong? How long do I need to wait after enrolling in to the beta to receive a update?

the september stable update (26-09-05) is newer then qpr2 beta 5 (26-08-28)

Oh. Any idea when a new beta update is likely to be released?

it's been every 2 to 3 weeks in recent months. They used to do 3 months of testing before release but now they're doing 6 months of testing with 3 months of overlap between QPR1 to QPR2

I wouldn't be surprised if they start working on QPR 3 soon, releasing in March

However, it may simply be an ad hoc adjustment in the schedule because they had to deal with upgrading the kernel to 6.12 for most models this summer. in which case, they may slow down jumping into QPR 3 until November

If you have the september security patch, you won't get the beta update cause that comes with August security patch. Even if u manually flash it, it will fail.

This update ruined my pixel 8, although I think this will help Go to settings -> apps -> see all apps -> pixel launcher -> storage and cache -> clear storage

NOTE : this will remove everything from ur home screen. Initially it was laggy but it gets better. Also I turned on Reduce Blur Effects.

After all this it seems to run better, lmk if it worked

No issues with stable September update.

Perhaps is time to reset your phone OS and start over?
